I was using GameShark to find Voltorb and I found a shiny one, at ROUTE 30, Silver Version, so I don't know who was the real shiny pok?mon, but I have a blue Voltorb now. A lime-green female Sandshrew in Sapphire, ROUTE 113, a HootHoot (Yellow/Purple) at ROUTE 37, near Ecruteak, Silver Version. One time I saw a purple Slowpoke, but I had not paid attention, so I wasn't sure that it shined, so I thought: If I try to escape and and the game says "Can't escape", it is Shiny, if not, all Slowpokes in this version are purple(???). I escaped and when I found another, it was pink... But in Sapphire, I found a shiny(very shiny) purple Spheal at Shoal Cave, but I was so excited to evolve it to Sealeo, that I forgot to save my game and it was deleted... but it's still in my memory ...

GameShark to find Shiny pok?mon (GS, I only know these): 010719D1 (US); 01070BD1 (JP). First Pk?mon is Shiny: 01EA3FDA*01AA40DA (US)
Shiny Ditto trick:
1st: Send a Shiny Pok?mon (can be Red Gyarados) to R/B/Y.
2nd: Teach MIMIC (TM31) to it.
3rd: Find an wild Ditto.
4th: After the wild Ditto uses TRANSFORM, use MIMIC and TRANSFORM into Ditto.
5th: Capture Ditto.
6th: Send your shiny Ditto to G/S/C, then to DAY-CARE CENTER (with the old woman).
7th: Breed a pok?mon with the old man, and in a ratio of 1/64, the baby pok?mon is shiny.
As soon as is possible send your pok?mon from RBY to GSC, it can be shiny, and you will never know ... ... ...
