4th Gen Your starter? D&P

Which starter did you pick/like, or was your favorite in D&P? state your reasons too

Well, I've used every single one and the best for me was Chimchar.

I even killed Roark(Extra training) and even the water pokemon were killed also.
 
I picked Chimchar, but I traded it for a Piplup. My Chimchar sucked, but I still miss it!
 
Piplup! =D Such an awesome Pokemon but I don't use Empoleon in my main team =/
 
i used chimchar just because i like monkeys and fire pokemon so it was a pretty obvious choice for me.
 
Well, I guess this is different from those "Which starter is best?" threads by just enough to not have it get locked. x.x

I chose Chimchar because it looks so cool. I said in the past that I thought Infernape had Gundam-like features, and I still think that. =P All-in-all, it was an awesome choice, considering the lack of fire-types, the great movepool it has, and the great potential it has as a sweeper in competitive-play.
 
my starter was turtwig. wigin out. man.
 
I chose Turtwig for the sake of being different. I always chose the Water type in previous games.
