Your thoughts on Ash's Officially Owned Pokémon (plus the others that he should've obtained)

What's up, everybody? Hey, I'm just want to know what you have thought on Ash's officially owned Pokémon, including from the earliest to the most recent in numerical order from throughout hisPokémon training history from the premiere of Pokémon main TV anime to the present?:

• Those overrated
• Those underrated
• Those that you've considered the best and/or strongest
• Those that you've considered the worst and/or weakest
• Those that Ash should've remembered or that he shouldn't've forgotten about
• Those that Ash should've fully-trained and/or fully-evolved or that he won't ever do so
• Those that Ash shouldn't've released or that he should've kept, including at Professor Oak's Laboratory, at Professor Kukui's home or at the Cerise Laboratory
• Those that Ash shouldn't've caught or kept or that he should've released
• Those that Ash should or should've Mega Evolved for the first time or that he won't ever do so

I will not answer most of your questions because I would be repeating what the others have said already.

As for pokemon he should have gotten....

Caught:

Hippowdon - He formed a bond with Hippopotas in Sinnoh and I thought for sure he would catch it. Similar to Riolu.

Espeon - Red had one and is one of the few Eeveelutions not owned by a prominent rival or main character other than Virgil who has all. Plus it would be a good time to throw back to Gary and his Umbreon.

Larvitar - He should have caught Larvitar. I don't know how they didn't form a close enough bond during Johto with the one to keep it. So catching a Tyranitar would repair that.

Flygon - It is one of the most popular pokemon and he used one well in the Jirachi movie. Originally I thought it was his, but he never caught one.

Joltic/Galvantula - Honestly, if not for Pikachu, I think this would have been a pokemon he would have caught. Please break the no Electric types for him. I know Pikachu is his main, but it be nice to have more electric types and I think this would would do great to annoy Pikachu and have some fun moments. I mean Pikachu even learned freaking Electro Web.

Venipede - I have to wonder if Ash was originally supposed to catch it. He bonded so well with the one in Castelia, but then the Rocket vs Plasma got canceled and they had to rewrite a large amount of episodes.

Absol - Again, I think this would be a great pokemon for Ash to have. Similar to Flygon.

Drampa - I just think it match Ash well. Originally thought it would be one of his catches in Sun and Moon.

Poliwrath - To counter part with Misty. I think Ash should catch a Poliwrath. He doesn't have many fully evolved water types and Red's main pokemon was a Poliwrath.

Litleo - I think Litleo should have decided to go with Ash in XY and originally thought that would be one of his pokemon because it matches Ash so well.

Phantump/Treverant - Again, it was a pokemon I thought he would catch in XY, but again it was denied.

Snover/Abamasnow - I just think this was a pokemon that matched Ash. He also had a lot of fun with one in Sinnoh.

Skiddo/Gogoat - Much like many XY pokemon, I just thought this was a perfect match for Ash. If he had caught a Grass Type during XY, this probably would have been it. I am surprised that no main cast caught this pokemon. If I recall, Ash really like Gogoat at the end of Unova.

Bergmite - This one less so than others, but it was speculated to be one of Ash's Pokemon and I agreed with it.

Stoutland - No real reason here.

Skrelp - This was another pokemon that Ash bonded well with and thought it would come back at a later date, but never did.

Munna/Musharna - I think this pokemon would have been a great representation of Unova. With the Global Link closing, I think this would be a great way to remember it by. Maybe even a gift from the Professor he met in Unova.

Reuniclus - I thought this pokemon would have been perfect for Ash to finally be a psychic type. Solosis or any in the line. I just think would have matched Ash well.

Meloetta - Let's face it. He should have caught it. It would be nice for him to catch it, even if just temporary. Especially if Goh is going to go after Mew and they have completely shattered the unspoken rule of people not owning Legendaries in the Anime.

Meowstic - I am not sure why Ash or Serena didn't catch one. It would have been perfect for both of them

Milotic - It is one of the most popular pokemon and I think would be great for Ash to catch.

Evolved:

Emboar - Please just evolve Pignite.... it is one of the most hated pokemon in Unova. Emboar is so much better.

Gabite or Garchomp - Would be nice for Gible to evolve, even if just once.

Crawdaunt - Corphish should have evolved.

Dewott - I think Oshawott should evolve. I know it is supposed to be the fun pokemon like Rowlet, but I think it can keep its personality as a Dewott.

Floatzel - I don't know how Buizel didn't evolve.

Feraligatr - I would love to see a dancing Feraligatr.

Regional Forms:

Slowpoke - I think it would be a great way to promote the new DLC for Sword and Shield. Slowpoke has also been close to the lore in the past, so I think Ash should catch.

Sandshrew - I think it would have been a great counterpart to Lillie.

Geodude - It was one of the first pokemon he seen and tried to catch, but again... because of Electric, he didn't. He should have caught it in SM.

Farfetch'd - I think the way you evolve it would match Ash well. And he has shown his love for Pokemon Battles. So a Sirfetch'd would be perfect for him.

Darumaka - One of the fan favorites and think it would match Ash well.

I separated Galar because it is a new region and currently he is catching old pokemon. I don't think he should ignore Galar and therefore, I think these are a few Pokemon, or lines, he should catch at some point.

Galar Pokemon He Should Catch:

Rillaboom - He has a habit of catching monkey pokemon. And it would make up for not catching a grass pokemon in XY and then not evolving Rowlet.

Corviknight - Easily one of the most popular pokemon right now.

Wooloo - Again, a very popular pokemon.

Coalossal - I just think this pokemon would match Ash.

Cramorant - Relations with Pikachu would be amazing.

Eiscue - Not the most popular pokemon, but think it would match Ash.

Kubfu - I think it would be a great pokemon for both Ash and Goh to Catch.

Applin - I just think it would match Ash.

Toxtricity - They are doing there best to make it the next Lucario/Zoroark, sadly, because it is electric, I don't know if he will catch it.

Wait guys. Besides all the ones that he has or had officially owned, what about the Pokémon that Ash shouldn't actually catch, including Galar Pokémon, middle- and full- evolutions and regional forms?

To me, there isn't really a pokemon he 'shouldn't own' as I love him catching more and more pokemon. But if there is one for certain that I don't think he should catch, not including legendary pokemon, it would have to be pokemon like Chansey and Audino. I also don't really like the one pokemon in Sword and Shield that has 2 forms based on gender and doesn't evolve.

I just don't think, 'Healing' pokemon would match Ash well. He has Levanny, which I think is ok, but he never used it much after it began to healing.

This, i now see that there's no reason for Ash to have only ONE electric type pokemon, maybe he was only unlucky when catching alolan Geodude and Grubbin (who evolves into an electric type), also i'm sure catching an Jolteon too would make it better since Ash put Chimchar's morale on top after it was badly treaten by that barbarian Paul and 90% of the Jolteons have bad rap by the pokemon anime company
