My mom doesn't really say "you're grounded, biatch!" She says "you're not allowed to get on the computer for 2 months! Understand?"

I've already told how my mom ground me on the first question. The baddest punishment I've had was...not to go to school for 5 days. D:
All my friends are in school AND we have a very important presentation in one of those five days. u__u

Ranges from no gadgets to no going to school.

How Long are you usually Grounded For?
Usually weeks or months.

I don't see bad grades as a reason to be punished, as you can't exactly control difintively what grades you get.
I have been grounded but my DS is usually in my room and my dad's ibook which he lent me. :P

You forget the fact that in school, you make your own grades. The teacher just computes them.

I've only been grounded because of my attitude or sometimes a bad report from a certain subject, I've never done anything really bad before.

But she disconnects the internet, since the cable goes into her room for the phone line I'm pretty much screwed ;~;

grounding their child seems to be something that middle class parents do to their children.
i've never been ground, but i have been punished... i wont go into detail.

but this concept is something that most kids assume.

I've never been grounded, per se. I've been sent to my room and told to come out when I was ready... . That time varied from right away to a good few hours. Thing is, it is the small things that will cause something like that to happen. If I ever get in trouble now... it is probably just getting my phone/laptop taken away or something.

I didn't even get in trouble the time that I sneaked out of the house to go get high(well, I wasn't getting high, but the other people were). We made crude bumps in the bed to form sleeping bodies, and well... we were out. We came back a few hours later to the cops being there, and yeah. I didn't get in any trouble though.

I've been grounded only once. It was when I was 4 and I threw sand and mud on my brother's newly washed car, the car that he spent 3 hours waxing, washing, scrubbing the tires, and making sure that the rims where shiny. I was only grounded for 1 day and got to watch TV anyways. XDD

I made bad grades, but I've never gotten grounded. My dad had "taken" something away, like my video games, but I always find them and play them while my parents are away. :/

I don't get grounded. My parents come up with other, more creative methods of punishment that I won't mention. Besides, it's not like I did much outside of the house or school anyway, so I'd most likely be in my room regardless of whether I was "grounded" or not.

But regarding my parents and punishment, I intend to fully pay them back someday *evil smirk*
