Issue: Youtube profile video won't show up

I enter the proper code, and I put in the title, but only the title pops up. The video doesn't show. Did I do something wrong?

If the url for the video is 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKA0Cc5dCF0'

All you need is the last bit. 'WKA0Cc5dCF0'

So you'd enter it like 'v/WKA0Cc5dCF0'

Just as an example.

That's probably where I messed up. I put in the 'v=' bit instead of v/.

You would technically need the &hl at the end so it would be
v/WKA0Cc5dCF0&hl

I use the &hl always so I dunno I thought it was needed.

I believe &hl is only if you want your video to have high quality.

I seem to be having this problem too, I have this is my profile: v/rMVJ0tqcRZM

and it had worked in the past, but no longer does, the only reason (which still wouldn't make sense), that I can think of, is because I am copying the URL, while I am logged in. But I'd assume all URLs are the same.

It works for me. o.O I can see it perfectly, and the URL is correct.

EDIT: Okay that's only for the 'about me' portion.

hmmm and I don't have it hiding under a drop menu. I've just tried to see what would happen with the replacing the profile pic thing too.

EDIT: Okay, when I click yes, my profile shows a small white vertical box, where the profile picture (in this case, of the youtube video), is supposed to be. I changed it back already, but I assume you guys would have been able to see the changed profile pic.

No its not. If you see that it says v/ and your embeded code is v= why not just change it?

Do you have some external program blocking YouTube, or Flash completely? It could be anything from a browser extension (e.g. AdBlock Plus) to a new antivirus/parental control program. Does YouTube work normally for you?
