all you're arguments I find both stupid and not worth the time it took me to read them.

Todoroki Is: What you say is exactly what the whistle blowers are saying. What is wrong with watching someone doing it, just don't put up what they did without them in it. Um, well... other then the fact that it is boring as hell....? Nope only reason. And as for internet laws, come on man.. there aren't any, that is just some snow-baller's way to push some more limitations down our throats! I mean if you want to get down to all that copyright junk, then maybe 80% of PC should be put in Jail for having banners that do not have characters made by them. But you know what, we aren't going to jail because that is just stupid. Pictures are pictures, Music on fan-made AMV's is called free advertisement, it's not like the singers or the writers get enough money from the record companies anyway.
I mean dude, they want to toss us into jail for having our car radios on to loud. Honestly, WTF is up whit that?!
So I say, download and share my brothers, File-sharing is not illegal! so neither is sharing the Videos we work on for 3 hours.
The RIAA can kiss my smooth bronzed butt!
I am not buying any CD's if I like I song, I'm getting it from the guy I heard it from.
If I like a movie, I'm borrowing it from my friends.

WTH would you want to buy a game, or read a book if someone already showed you how it went from beginning to end? That is just lazy.
If you see something, and you like it, download it... play/read/watch/listen to it. and if you really like it. Share it my brothers. Share it with the world. And then, later, use the video/song to make a tribute to how much you liked it. Tell the world that you love them, and trust me... that is all it will takes for the god damn ratings to go sky high, and they will win a people's choice award.... and they will be happy. And the Record companies... will be very sad...
And that my friends, is how it should be.

I would rather see the artists, selling their own stuff. On a pay what you want basis.
RadioHead kicks so much patuty for that.
Don't deal with companies... they make the fans loose interest in you.

There I am spent. for the time being.

Dude... are you fallowing me or something? I see you where ever i am.
He's got a good point. Read the rules whenever you join a site and you can avoid this. It's not their fault. It's yours.

And I think posting in every thread you do is a good idea.

Listen people, I am not spending 30 bucks on an Iron Maiden CD. and I love Iron Maiden alright I can not deny that I would marry those guys if I could. But 30 bucks..... F that! I could use that money to buy much better stuff. honestly! 30! WTF!

What? So you'd rather be immoral and break the law? Good plan. Seems to have worked so far.

It has actually.

But say what you want about me dude. You could never understand. You are probably one of those people that sees a CD they like and cares not what it costs you just buy it huh?

You are probably one who doesn't understand businesses need money to stay afloat. Then go and not buy CDs thinking that it's beneficial. They wouldn't even be able to release songs if everyone was like you.

Sure they would, Radiohead does. Besides man, when people love your music that is all that matters to an artist. it is only Record companies that want money. They don't need it. They keep 70% of the profit anyway...
That is injustice.
I remember back when CD's first came out, that they said that by now they would be 5 or 2 DLLS american.. but instead the price just keeps going up.
I prefer Amateur-Porno-Gore bands. They release stuff onto the internet. They don't care about CD sales, they get money by doing concerts. And trust me... their concerts... sell out... all the time.

It's called copyright claims, and I have no problem with them. Although I have been annoyed since they took off some of my favorite songs and some gaming walkthroughs, but since then, I have found another resource through Google.

You're the author of this thread right? Then post you're opinion in the first post and get the hell out of this thread. You comment on every single comment you disliked. It as okay for the first time, but now it seems like you're either trolling for some posts or just being an idiot.

I'll have to say you're being an idiot and making it worst for yourself.

You obviously have no concept of economics. Although the music artists may get pennies, the record labels are the ones who fund the equipment, recording, and advertising, not to mention the manufacturing and distributing of CDs, DVDs, and whatever else you might want. If the record labels or movie studios go out of business, you are out of luck. It is because of people like you that smaller companies are going out of business. It is because of people like you that we get copy prtection on DVDs that makes it difficult to rip them to a computer. It is because of people like you that places like Amazon music downloads lock music tracks to the computer that they were purchased from. In other words, it is because of people like you, who circumvent laws like these, that sites like Youtube have to do this in the first place. Yes, that music was cool while it was on youtube, but every time you watched it there, you cost the record company and the artist a little more money that could have been used to create even more great music. Yes, that DVD may look nice when you download it from a file sharing website, but it doesn't look so nice when you get a cease and desist order from the national government. (They actually do monitor those sites, btw. I have several friends who have recieved such letters, listing every illegal download they had made within the last two years) Not to mention what will happen if the police ever have a reason to look at your computer. You have a fine of up to $10,000, plus jail time if they convict you of that. Is that worth not paying a little bit for a music album or DVD? And, by copyright laws, if you share something you legallypurchased, you get an even higher fine. Youtube is letting you guys off easy. They could just as easily be reporting you to the feds and letting them haul you guys off to court.

It has actually.

But say what you want about me dude. You could never understand. You are probably one of those people that sees a CD they like and cares not what it costs you just buy it huh?

Actually, most of us care quite a bit about what the CDs cost. Unlike you, we actually either earn or save up the money we use to buy the Cd. We understand the value of a dollar, and we understand that when something is worth the money we pay, it is worth the money we pay. As I said, by not buying the CDs, you not only break Federal and international laws and treaties, but you also cost the record labels money that they could have used to release even more good music that would be worth buying. If you don't think that the music is worth paying for, you are either an immature child regarding how you handle money, or you shouldn't be listening to the music, because it obviously isn't worth your valuable time either.

I apologize if this came off as harsh, but the copyright laws are there for a reason. How would you like it if your company was going out of business because your products were being pirated more than bought? How would you like it if someone could use anything you owned, without your permission, and without paying you a cent?

Basically, the way it works is if a company claims copyright infringement on any video, YouTube will take it down to avoid possible legal action, even if it's clearly not copyright infringement. Basically, they're not going to go to court just so your video can stay up; that doesn't make practical business sense, and YouTube is already losing money (their bandwidth costs alone are $1 million daily).

On the other hand, since YouTube is hemorrhaging money, they're scrambling to get the sort of content that Hulu has (in other words, television shows, movies, and anime). Guess they finally discovered that more people want to watch Code Geass (legal link, for the record; it's Bandai's YT channel) than a video of a skateboarding dog (though in this case, I guess the view counts suggest otherwise).

Actually, that's a good point. With Youtube offering higher quality, there are more and more official videos on Youtube, and there will be less need to have something removed in the first place.

I've never had anything removed.
I do pokemon videos on youtube..
And I credit nintendo in my video description.
Also, I talk over my videos.
Nintendo can Hardly claim copyright over my voice.

Well it's still annoying, especially with the recent muting of AMV's... some that my friends on yt and I work hard on, it's annoying. >_<

Then there are those of us who live in a country where it costs less. Like me for example the most a Maiden CD will cost is 15 euros and the most for a 'tallica CD is 20 euros. So to get full discographies for such bands the top price would be say 200-250 euros. And there is a thing called saving up like mentioned. But yeah hopefully youtube does see that high quality videos will change things.

I've known they have been muting and deleting videos. It''s just that I never uploaded any videos. I can't thing of anything to upload...

...So I guess I will vote "No, they haven't found me yet."

I find it funny how this topic has changed from the muting of YouTube videos to Internet file sharing.

No, none of my videos have been muted yet. I do have one video that has been flagged for possible copyright infringement but the copyright holder does not mind much at all.
