I am extremely unlucky with booster packs. I have no secret rares and two ultras (Spellbinding Circle and Dark Magician of Chaos). That's it. I've been collecting for about a year too. My cousin on the other hand last week got two secret rares in the space of two days (An Injection Fairy Lily and a Lava Golem). Plus he has The End of Anubis and a couple more which don't jump to mind at the minuite.
I have a lot of promo cards though. I own the Blue-Eyes you get from the Power of Chaos game. It's a nice looking Blue-Eyes.
The most powerful I have from a booster pack is Master of Oz, then DMoC.

I own a lot of shiney cards, though they tend to be misplaced from time to time due to my lack of card filers. :\

I think the most powerful monster card I own may be either my Armed Dragon Lv. 7 or my Dark Master Zorc.

I have every english card including tp ultra rares except tp5 cause my store doesn't have it yet. My favorites are BLS: Envoy of the Begginning, Horus the Black Flame Dragon all levels, Jinzo, Blade Knight, Fiber Jar, Cyber Jar, and Tribe-Infecting Virus.

I haven?t got any good cards the last time I bought a Metal Raiders Booster pack. Well I got a good spell card. It was Shield and Sword though.

I have Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Lava Golem and Gren Maju De Eiza, it gets 400 points for every card in the graveyard, a spell or a monster!

Hmm, i've got a lot of good cards/combos so i'll just post my favorites out of them.
Sorceror of Dark Magic + Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lvl. 8 (Go well together :P)
The nifty little Woodland Sprite and Butterfly Dagger Elma couple, which gives me instant wins often n_n
Burst Stream of Destruction, My closest to a Raigeki
Dark Magic Attack, My closest to Harpies Feather Duster
Delta Attacker works well for me with 3 Blue-Eyes on the field (I get them out quite easily actually, considering they usually need 2 tributes each)
Chaos Emperor Dragon is pretty cool too. n___n
Anyway they work well for me, don't know about anyone else.
I also have Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, but I use him less often. (obviously n.n)
