The sky was shimmering with a new-fallen rain, the first of the spring. The little grassy plains around Paul's home began to shine with dew as he listened to the drops hit the ceiling of his cottage.

"Ah, now this is the kind of stuff to draw to," he said, staring at a blank template of a Duel Monsters card. "If only i had an idea. Jeez; last time i couldn't get an idea like this was last summer when Pegasus nearly fired me for being a week late on designs. Well, let's get started." Paul picked up his pencil and began to draw.

Ten minutes later, about fifteen pieces of white paper were lying on his blue-carpeted floor. "Crap. Think, Paul, think." he told himself. Instead of thinking, he left his cottage and drove off into the city for a quick bite of lunch. His thoughts began to race.

Man...if I don't get myself going, I'll be ruined. No full-time job at Industrial Illussions, and my reputation will be trashed in the Dueling Tournaments. What the hell am I gonna do?

As if on que, Paul's cell phone began to vibrate. He slowed down his car and thought about answering it. There was no way he could get any reception out in the middle-of-nowhere, especially in a rainstorm, so how can this call get through? He didn't second guess himself, but answered it anyway.

"Hello?"

the voice was quiet, and feminine. "Paul? Paul St. Demonte?" Paul was confused. It wasn't Alexis, whom doesn't call during school hours anyway. What other women did he know?

"Yeah. Yeah, this is he. Who the hell is this?"

"That is not important. We request of you to come to the musuem in the center of the city this afternoon. Seeing as you are already two miles off from the East Gate, that shouldn't be an issue. Can you make it?" the voice was calm, but Paul was everything but. This person; these people knew exactly were he was! He stepped on the gas a little more out of stress, and spoke into the phone.

"Um, i suppose. But who's 'we'? Hello?" The line disconnected. Paul looked around him carefully, for anything that could hint of this. He saw nothing.

"Uh, o-okay. L-lunch in the m-museum. I can dig that." Paul drove through the East Gate and into central London.

The old man smiled "getting straght to the point arn't we young one, well as you also hold a charm you will be targeted by the theives as much as here and your counterpart if you stick together then you may stand a chance but if they can learn your weaknesses then you could be in danger."

Paul burst through the doors of the museum's main office, spilling part of his turkey club on the floor. Everyone inside seemed to stare blankly at him, as if he interrupted something extremely important.

Unfortuantely, Paul's mouth was still full of club-sandwich. "Mokay. Moo mas it that malled me?!" He sawllowed his food. "Sorry. Who was it that called me?! What's the emergency?"

The old man sitting behind a desk answered, while the other people, teenagers, stood there watching. "Um, who are you, sir? We are having a very important meeting, and i request your leaving this office."

"Uh, well i'm sorry, but some woman called me here and said that i was needed. Oh, and sorry about the turkey on the floor. That was my bad."

"Woman?" The man sounded confused. "But i thought Sherri left for the day?" He clicked an intercom button on the desk. "Mr. roberts, could you please check and see if Ms. Edwards is still at the welcome desk?"

"Sir, i have her down as leaving for the day as of two-forty this afternoon. Her brother's in the hospital." sounded "Mr. Robert's" voice.

"Thank you, and send them a gift basket. You see, um..."

"Paul. Paul St. Demonte."

"Paul, yes, well, our only female employee who works the phones left fo the day. So i don't know who called you, but i can assure you that you aren't needed. Now, if you don't mind, we are having a very impo-"

The old man was cut off by the door opening for a second time. this time, a tall woman with short brown hair walked in. She wore a business suit, and carried a briefcase. "I called him." She said. It was definetly her; her voice was the complete same.

"And you are?" the old man asked.

"That is not important at this time. I have come to deliver a message from my boss, Mr. Andre LeFleur, current CEO of KaibaCorp."

The woman placed the briefcase on the desk and opened it. A mechanism trigured a hologram, probably the same that her company uses on Duel-Disks, and the face of Andre LeFleur appeared.

"Greetings, invitees..." It said.

The woman chuckled, but tried to catch her ground. "Aha..ha-Mr. Kaiba is curently out on 'business' and Mr. LeFleur has been appointed CEO."

Each person other than the woman stared at each other, owndering what was so funny. Suddenly, the hologram spoke again.

"I bet you all are wondering why i have come. That is becasue you all are cordially invited to my 'London Duelist Extravaganza!'" Paul thought to himself, it defintely sounds like KaibaCorp. "Your printed invites are in the folder under this projection, and i look forward to meeting all of you in person when the tournament begins. For now, adieu."

As the Projection ended, the briefcase "pushed" out a manilla folder. The hologram was right; all invites were in it. Sacrier yet, all actually had each person's name printed on in fancy gold lettering.

The woman closed the briecase, picked it up, and left the building. Paul turned to the group.

"Anyone else but me freaked out right about now?!"
