Hi, I'm a YGO Professional so I sorta had to make a post here. Anyone else play YGO? If so, up for a duel?

On the topic of YGO video games... WHY MUST THEY CHANGE THE RULES OF THE CARD GAME IN THE VIDEO GAMES. It annoys the living crap outta me. I've only seen one game that keeps the rules exactly the same, and guess what? THAT GAME WAS ACTUALLY FUN.

The only way I can think of 2 people dueling over the internet is: A game, an online thing or Skype.

I do play Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I wouldn't say I'm a pro, as it is about how you plan. I am good at planning, but I still wouldn't say I'm a pro.

I'm an idiot, and haven't actually played for a while...

Not a strategy as such, but I have most D-hero cards in a deck. Not touched it for ages though...

I prefer using a Dragon Strategy, or my own little defensive Kishido Spirit with other... Monsters.

Well, there is a way to play online. Duel Monster Unlimited on the BYOND engine. Which is all free to download and like has all the cards including anime cards. Very up to date. Or if you want to play real style. If two people have a webcam and Skype you could do that. Or use Kaiba Corp Virtual Dueling System, which I'm not sure is up to date. I know DMU is. I'm more of a hobby Yu-Gi-Oh! player so I wont pose much of a challenge but I can be of some fun.

The definition of professional means you do something as a profession, i.e. a job, hence the paid-for remark >_<

btw I don't actually play. I just look at cards / decks and say "woah zas maniacal" or "ummmmmm wat?"

imo Yu-gi-oh used to be really good, but since they added tuner and synchro monsters it's become really stupid.

It's just a hobby of mine. I love my DDD. As for the video games, I just build specific decks to counter the predictable AI with occasional help from their deck listings

1) I get payed. Prize money.
2) There is a way to duel online. Well, several ways, but I used yvd. Google it. It stands for Yu-Gi-Oh Virtual Dueling
3) The older video games sucked. You would only have 900 ATK monsters and that would be considered good.
4) Synchros have changed the game a lot. Now if you don't have Synchros you lose.
5) Perfect Circle is sorta dead. D-Heroes on their own can't make a good deck. Tele-DaD was probably the best way of using the D-Engine (Malicious with Destiny Draw for those of you who don't know) but after their semi-limiting D-Heroes are a lot smaller. I'll post up a deck at the end of this post that uses D-Heroes
6) Of course professional gamers can't be like a professional at football or tennis or something. Tournaments only come round once in a while, especially in England. Guess the only way you can really judge what a 'pro' is is by their standard. Duel me if you think I'll all mouth and no game.
7) What are your favourite decks? Mine is Blackwings. When I use them I'm untouchable (most of the time :P)

That was my first /AM deck. Love it. You could use Deep Sea Diva or the Kreb-Tele combo as the main Tuners if you want to. Also me putting 3 SD /AM and 2 Assault Mode Activate was deliberate before you ask. With SD /AM you're bound to have one of them killed or not in your deck, meaning that Assault Mode Activate would be redundant. 3 ensures that you'd have enough in the deck.

Extra deck and Side Deck are for preferance as well but, obviously, have 2 Stardust Dragons in there.

Waiting for Sept. 2009 list to come out before I start fixing my decks again.

If Solemn does go to 1 like the rumored list says, then I'm really gonna think about moving away from YGO and focus on MtG.
Then again, if DSF gets banned like the rumored list says, then I might as well as stick around to see how people will react to this... mostly the happy people, and the people mad at spending cash on it.

If Solem does go to one, I might as well switch my Counter-Zombies to a run of the mill Zombie Synchro with Diva engine.
C-Z was hit badly a while ago with CoSR going to 1 anyway...

Putting Solemn to 1 is the most retarded thing anyone could ever do. Paying half your lifepoints makes it so not broken.

Sept banlist Gale is gonna burned. Rescue Cat's gonna get banned/limited and Summoner Monk's gonna get the same treatment.

Rumored list also puts Reborn to 0 and CotH back to 1, which makes sense.
DSF being banned is also nice, though I'm not too sure if Konami would ban a card that was released so recently.

Solemn at 1 is a bad move, and a move that doesn't make any sense.
