they screwed up his name, unlike Yugi XD
for some reason, the more 4kids is dubbing the more they seem to want to eliminate all japanese names and such from it

Yugi won't appear, besides ep 1, Yami's...well you'll find out later XP
 
Have any of you seen the Yu-Gi-Oh! Uncut DVDs? Because they just feel SO different from the 4Kids dubbed version! The episode scripts were re-written to better match the original Japanese script. As of now, I have all 3 volumes of this that have been released so far. Too bad they have been delayed indefinitely, as this is a HUGE blow for the fans! And these DVDs are pretty hard to find, which makes it even WORSE. No matter where I go, I can't seem to find out the answer as to why the uncut DVDs were delayed to begin with. Well, that's 4Kids for you. I guess that we are left in the dark, with no hope for a future release, at this point.

No, Yuugi is pretty much written off the show, since Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is Judai's turf.

Because Yu-Gi-Oh! translates as "King of Games", and Judai also wants to be the King of Games.

Yuugi lost the Pharoah in the memeory arc and there's no point in having Yuugi in the show anymore, since they already fullfilled his "destiny". So they changed all the main characters to continue the series fresh.

And as for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters series, Yuugi is still going to be in the next season, he's just not going to be in the next series (which is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX).
 
and the...um...how should i say it...he'll without the aporstophe XD
