Zelda Chronology

Thank you for clearifying about the document to everyone. About the Multiple Ganon theory, I must disagree. Your quote only proves itself if infact Four Swords came after Wind Waker, then there would have had to be two Ganondorfs. But it is very likely that Four Swords, like most other Zelda games, comes between Majora's Mask and Wind Waker, a time when Ganon existed and Hyrule did too. It can't be before, because Ganon didn't actually exist until the pure evil in Ganondorf's heart manifested itself, and taking the name Ganon. It couldn't be after, because Ganon didn't really die in the end, he was frozen in time, stuck in the aquatic region he longed to rule.

TWW need not be the end (or PH, by extension). Link and Tetra went off to find a new land. The Koroks as well are trying to create land.

I thought Four Swords (And Minish Cap) were two stories on their own.

Twilight Princess, I don't believe, is really a "What if" storyline, seeing how Link still had to visit The old Temple of Time, with statues of the Hero of Time within. Plus, that Ganon wasn't really a "God", he just needed someone to put his power within, until his resurrection. This could just be a few decades, or some other amount of years after Ocarina of Time.

We all know That the GBA Oracle of Time/Ages preceeded after Majora's mask. They were even referenced in the Wind Waker.

"The Hero was off in another quest in a distant land, so no one was able to stop Ganon. The King called to the Gods..."

Or something to that effect.

I still feel the different Ganons as just incarnations, within different timelines. For instance, In Oracle of Time/Ages, Twinrova tried to resurrect Ganon, to little avail. They made a shoddy sacrifice for their ritual, and made a mindless beast of Ganon.

I personally think OoA and OoS follow TWW at some point. I believe Labrynna (of OoA) suffered a flood.

That quote, as well as the Legend of the Fairy, from TWW depict the events of MM. We have developer quotes supporting that. The developers have stated that the reference to Link being in another land was about Termina.

That said...TWW apparently falls in the adult timeline. I would much rather have it the child timeline since...well...Termina. XD Can't be in the adult one, but oh well.

Again, the guys who make the games said that there are two timelines, and Twilight is in one that is probably all it's own. Also, it's Oracle of Ages and Seasons, not Time. Ages and Time are the same thing

Time, Ages, whatever. You got my point. I get those [three, seasons, time, ages] mixed up. Sue me.

Well, If Twilight Princess is it's on Timeline, Four Swords just doesn't belong much at all. Hell, it really just reiterated what Ocarina said, with a tad more detail, and a slightly different plot.

And Misnish Cap, well, how long ago were the Minish around? Which came first? Master Sword? Four Sword? It's hard to add up. I just don't see it as part of the main story.

Which reminds me...where did Faroe come from? I don't remember.

I'm also confusaed about 4-swords. But I doubt it isn't one the document. If it went on eBay, hpw much would it go for? I say in the tens of thousands area.
