ZOMGFTA to be scanslating Pocket Monsters Special

Dude, I've got chapter 91 all scanned and cleaned up, CSakuraS has done translations for 91 and 92, and I think I've got... 92 and 93 and most of 94 ready for scanning already. CSakuraS went to the trouble of sending me volumes 8 and 9 to scan, using her own money, and I have no intention of letting that go to waste. We are, at the very least, going to get these two volumes done, and we have no plans on stopping after that.

The only reason I haven't done any editing on the chapter yet is because I have a big essay to do by Sunday. >.>;;

Oh, oh! If anyone would like to see a sample of our scans, here's a page! :DDD

Very nice! In Jesse-chan and mine scanning project, they'll actually be two versions. Translated Japanese Special, and edited Viz/Chuang Yi Special. Here's a sample of ours. The edited version of Chuang Yi. =P

The reason why we're doing two versions is because I didn't want all my scans to go to waste when Jesse-chan said he'd be doing the ordinal. >>

I'm also doing a bonis version for certain chapters. (First chapter of the RBG Saga, and first chapter of the GSC Saga so far.) It's a comedy. XD

How can I say about the scan, Umeko. Good quality. I hope that project will live.
 
Cool! Both versions have great quality! :) Just a suggestion. If you want you can try using the Comic Commando font which is the one they used in the VIZ manga too! :D IF you want to use it you can download from here. =) https://www.dafont.com/comic_book_commando.font

Wow! Thankyou, Ash_Pokemaster! This font'll be very usefull for us!
 
Heh, giving us a taste of whats to come... I probably would also suggest using that font, since it kinda looks weird seeing the different fonts clash.
 
We're using Anime Ace for normal dialogue, and various other comic book fonts where needed. Thanks, though! :D

(More samples... these pages aren't done yet, though. XD)

Though I'm curious, about when are they're going to be ready in your guys' website and shown to public?

I'm hoping to get chapters 91 and 92 done sometime next week. I'd do them this weekend, but I have a five-page paper that technically I should be working on right now. XD If all goes as planned, they'll be out within a week, at most.

Those two attachments/scans look 10x better. Heh, I'm atleast glad someone is attempting to do the project; for that, I respect you guys, :P

I'm just a translator, I don't edit these or nothin', so I've no clue on how long until their completion. As for my progress, I submitted my script for all of volume 1 quite a while ago.
 
I translated the pages that Umeko posted into Polish just for fun. I can show them. Can I get permission to translate them into Polish?

our subbing group is also doing the poke specials.. (books 1-7) here is a beta sample:

Anyway everyone, the funny thing on it is that ZOMGFTA, Nicoleb/Jessy-chan, and #pocketmonsters started project about Pokemon Special almost the same time LOL. Anyway we all should be thanking them for that. They are openhearted to be making such a difficult job which will help the whole Community and actually all Pokemon Fans. Thanks again! I'm looking forward.
