Banette Lv48 @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Trait: Insomnia
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Body Slam / Return
- Toxic / Thunder Wave
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Ball
Banette suffers from Dark-type Syndrome. A GREAT base Atk (114), and crap for physical moves. Sure it packs a STAB Shadow Ball, but not much else, resorting to using a Normal move for lack of a better type. Body Slam gives out parahax while Return hits harder. Also, don't use the crappy held items that only boost one move type. If you aren't attacking with that move, it is basically like it isn't holding anything at all. Use items that offer a Poke more of a benefit. This is also a bad lead Poke.
Grumpig Lv48 @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
Careful Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunderpunch
- Substitute / Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunderpunch
- Psychic
Grumpig is often overlooked. It is a decent special tank, especially with the Thick Fat Trait. You are severely limiting its effectiveness though by giving it more than one move of the same type. With Psychic, you have absolutely no need for Psybeam. While not nearly as powerful as Alakazam or Gardevoir, Grumpig can be used similarly. Calm Mind with a couple punches and a STAB Psychic. However, Grumpig is one of a few Pokes that can learn Substitute through breeding. With its high base SDef and decent HP (110 and 80, respectively), its Subs can hold pretty well, especially if you Calm Mind afterwards.
Walrein Lv47 @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
Trait: Thick Fat
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) or Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Rest
- Toxic / Earthquake
- Surf
- Ice Beam
While Shell Bell is a much better option than the previous two held items you chose, it shouldn't be use on Walrein. Leftovers or even Chesto Berry would be a much better fit. Also, lose Blizzard. A STAB Ice Beam is sufficient to your needs. Rest on Walrein is extremely helpful and Chesto makes the first one free. Toxic is an option, but with a SEVERE lack of Earthquake on your team, it can help you here. I would rather you change your team and add a good physical attacker, but it is your team.
Altaria Lv47 @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Trait: Natural Cure
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Rest
- Sing / Heal Bell
Altaria is another good special tank. Fire Blast and a STAB Dragon Claw can cover almost all types in the game, although Altaria isn't a great attacker. It gets by though, attacking its opponent while absorbing their hits quite well. Don't ever use the crappy HM moves not called Surf on your team. That is what an HM slave is for, like Tropius or Rayquaza. Altaria's base Atk is even lower than its SAtk and should be avoided. Refresh is also a wasted move since its trait does the same thing. That also makes Rest a very viable option here. Rest, switch out, and Altaria is immediately awakened.
Manectric Lv47 @ Leftovers
Trait: Static
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Crunch
- Substitute
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
THREE moves of the same type this time. Ouch. Manectric is a poor-man's Jolteon. Strategy here is simple, you Thunder Wave first, and then Substitute until either (a) the crappy AI does a non-attacking move or (b) the Sub stays. From there, you are able to sweep with Crunch or a STAB Thunderbolt. Still outclassed by too many other Pokes though.
Blaziken Lv47 @ Shell Bell
Trait: Blaze
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Fire Blast
- Sky Uppercut / Brick Break
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance
Meh. Not a fan of Blaziken. The problem with it (and Sceptile) is that you cannot get its best moveset until well after you have beaten the Weak Five. That means you have to go through the game with a slapped together moveset (like you have) that doesn't take advantage of any of its strengths. One of too many reasons why Swampert owns all starters. At any rate, The first two moves are no brainers, with Brick Break being used until it learns its only good Fighting move at Lv59, Sky Uppercut. Rock Slide for that nasty Flying weakness, and with Swords Dance increasing its Atk by two stages, it can be a good physical sweeper. Being weak to four of the most common attacking moves in the game though (Flying, Ground, Psychic, and Water) certainly doesn't help.
i havent finish the pokeleague
