Why must everyone be dumbfounded by my team? After beating the elite four the first time, I deposited Raichu and Dugtrio, and caught and trained Skarmory and Hitmontop as their replacements.
It's not that everyone is dumbfounded, it is that you don't understand the concept of a team. If you deposited Raichu and Dugtrio and REPLACED them with Skarmory and Hitmontop, then the former two Pokes are no longer part of your team. Unless you have some kind of hack that allows you to use eight Pokes in a battle, a team consists of SIX Pokes that you can utilize in a battle. That is also why there is a difference between a regular Pokemon team and a Battle Frontier team. A BF team is only allowed to have THREE Pokes in it instead of the traditional six. So, when someone refers to their BF team, it is assumed they are only talking about 3 Pokes.

If you want to include 8 Pokes in your team, go right ahead. It is your game and you can do whatever you want. Don't get upset though when people will point out the fact (some nicer than others) that your concept of team is different that what is normally accepted. It makes one seem a bit noobish, but again, to each their own.

This is Leafgreen, there is no Battle Frontier! I also still use Raichu and Dugtrio when needed.

    And For The Record;
I DON'T CHEAT! IT IS A HORRIBLE THING TO DO!

I know there is no BF in FRLG. I was just explaining the different terms in teams.

And for the record, I do the same thing you do. I will also rotate Pokes in and out, depending on the situation. Mainly I will rotate HM slaves and Pokes with the Pickup Trait (Meowth and Zigzagoon), as needed.

    HERACROSS @ Choice Band
    Guts
    - Brick Break/Focus Punch
    - Rock Slide
    - Megahorn
    - Earthquake
    EVs:
    Jolly (+Spd -SA) 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Unsure as to whether to use Focus Punch over Brick Break because I don't intend to waste a Heracross move-slot with substitute.

    LANTURN @ Leftovers
    Volt Absorb
    - Hydro Pump
    - Thunder
    - Rain Dance
    - Ice Beam
    EVs:
    Calm (+SD -Att) 52 HP/52 Spd/152 SA/252 SD
Ice Beam is there because I don't like sleeping while my enemies can attack me. Hydro Pump over Surf as it is a lot stronger, and Thunder because it will never miss after Rain Dance is used.

    DODRIO @ Choice Band
    Early Bird
    - Return
    - Drill Peck
    - Tri Attack
    - Quick Attack
    EVs:
    Jolly (+Spd -SA) 4 HP/252 Atk/252Spd
Tri Attack as again I hate sleeping while my enemies attack me. If possible I will replace Quick Attack with Extremespeed.

    ALAKAZAM @ Leftovers
    Synchronize
    - Psychic
    - Fire Punch
    - Thunderpunch
    - Ice Punch
    EVs:
    Timid (+Spd -Att) 72 HP/252 Spd/184 SA
    Standard.

    CROBAT @ Choice Band
    Inner Focus
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Aerial Ace
    - Shadow Ball
    - Toxic
    EVs:
    Jolly (+Spd -SA) 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
    Standard also.

    TYRANITAR @ Leftovers
    Sandstream
    - Rock Slide
    - Earthquake
    - Dynamicpunch
    - Crunch
    EVs:
    Lonely (+Att -Def) 108 HP/228 Atk/172 Spd
Crunch for STAB, and Dynamicpunch because I don't want to use two move-slots for Focus Punch.

I haven't got any of these Pokemon with the proper natures yet, as I have just started this team.

Since I don't really have any need for getting the right Nature, I just go with whatever I get. There's still room for improvement I know, and most likely I'll go recatch them and build them up again in a different format.

It is extremely helpful if you include the nature of your Pokes, as the nature directly influences the best moveset of a Poke. As for your team, fixes and suggestions is bold:
    mine is

    Banette Lv48 @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
    Trait: Insomnia
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Body Slam / Return
    - Toxic / Thunder Wave

    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Shadow Ball

Banette suffers from Dark-type Syndrome. A GREAT base Atk (114), and crap for physical moves. Sure it packs a STAB Shadow Ball, but not much else, resorting to using a Normal move for lack of a better type. Body Slam gives out parahax while Return hits harder. Also, don't use the crappy held items that only boost one move type. If you aren't attacking with that move, it is basically like it isn't holding anything at all. Use items that offer a Poke more of a benefit. This is also a bad lead Poke.

    Grumpig Lv48 @ Leftovers
    Trait: Thick Fat
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunderpunch
    - Substitute / Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunderpunch

    - Psychic

Grumpig is often overlooked. It is a decent special tank, especially with the Thick Fat Trait. You are severely limiting its effectiveness though by giving it more than one move of the same type. With Psychic, you have absolutely no need for Psybeam. While not nearly as powerful as Alakazam or Gardevoir, Grumpig can be used similarly. Calm Mind with a couple punches and a STAB Psychic. However, Grumpig is one of a few Pokes that can learn Substitute through breeding. With its high base SDef and decent HP (110 and 80, respectively), its Subs can hold pretty well, especially if you Calm Mind afterwards.

    Walrein Lv47 @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
    Trait: Thick Fat
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) or Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
    - Rest
    - Toxic / Earthquake

    - Surf
    - Ice Beam

While Shell Bell is a much better option than the previous two held items you chose, it shouldn't be use on Walrein. Leftovers or even Chesto Berry would be a much better fit. Also, lose Blizzard. A STAB Ice Beam is sufficient to your needs. Rest on Walrein is extremely helpful and Chesto makes the first one free. Toxic is an option, but with a SEVERE lack of Earthquake on your team, it can help you here. I would rather you change your team and add a good physical attacker, but it is your team.

    Altaria Lv47 @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Dragon Claw
    - Fire Blast
    - Rest
    - Sing / Heal Bell

Altaria is another good special tank. Fire Blast and a STAB Dragon Claw can cover almost all types in the game, although Altaria isn't a great attacker. It gets by though, attacking its opponent while absorbing their hits quite well. Don't ever use the crappy HM moves not called Surf on your team. That is what an HM slave is for, like Tropius or Rayquaza. Altaria's base Atk is even lower than its SAtk and should be avoided. Refresh is also a wasted move since its trait does the same thing. That also makes Rest a very viable option here. Rest, switch out, and Altaria is immediately awakened.

    Manectric Lv47 @ Leftovers
    Trait: Static
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Crunch
    - Substitute
    - Thunder Wave

    - Thunderbolt

THREE moves of the same type this time. Ouch. Manectric is a poor-man's Jolteon. Strategy here is simple, you Thunder Wave first, and then Substitute until either (a) the crappy AI does a non-attacking move or (b) the Sub stays. From there, you are able to sweep with Crunch or a STAB Thunderbolt. Still outclassed by too many other Pokes though.

    Blaziken Lv47 @ Shell Bell
    Trait: Blaze
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Fire Blast
    - Sky Uppercut / Brick Break
    - Rock Slide
    - Swords Dance

Meh. Not a fan of Blaziken. The problem with it (and Sceptile) is that you cannot get its best moveset until well after you have beaten the Weak Five. That means you have to go through the game with a slapped together moveset (like you have) that doesn't take advantage of any of its strengths. One of too many reasons why Swampert owns all starters. At any rate, The first two moves are no brainers, with Brick Break being used until it learns its only good Fighting move at Lv59, Sky Uppercut. Rock Slide for that nasty Flying weakness, and with Swords Dance increasing its Atk by two stages, it can be a good physical sweeper. Being weak to four of the most common attacking moves in the game though (Flying, Ground, Psychic, and Water) certainly doesn't help.

    i havent finish the pokeleague
    lv50 to battle e4
    still finding new movesets
    any suggestion??
I know the AI is too limited to take advantage of it, but your team dies quickly to ANY physical attacker. You also don't have a good physical attacker. Banette barely passes as one, but its limited physical movepool really hurts it. As you have probably seen with your team, a special tank can switch in against you and slowly take your team down. Again, the crappy AI isn't programmed to fully take advantage of that so you will still be fine with the team as it is presently constituted. Just don't go playing a link-battle against someone who actually knows how to battle properly.

Please keep in mind I'm travelling and haven't yet beaten the E4. Also, some of these aren't at levels to learn better moves than some that they have... basically I'm looking for good movesets to aim for.

    Raichu @ Leftovers
    Trait: Static

    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Focus Punch
    - Substitute

    - Thunder Wave / Wish

Lose the craptacular Double Team. Bad move. At least you recognize the crappiness of HM moves. Raichu is best suited as a SubPuncher, especially with the nature you have. Hasty would have been preferred, but this certainly works. Thunder Wave is good in order to set up Substitute, but you can breed Wish too.

Lapras @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
    Trait: Water Absorb

    Bashful Nature (+,-)
    - Surf / Sleep Talk
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest / Sing
    - Thunderbolt

A few options here. You can go with the special attacker that uses Rest/Chesto Berry for quick healing. You can make it absorb statuses with Rest/Sleep Talk. You can even make it a utility Poke with Sing. Very versatile and very effective. Breed for Modest.

    Haunter / Hasty
    Psychic
    Confuse Ray
    Curse
    Night Shade

Haunter/Gengar shouldn't really be used as a Ghost. Dusclops or Misdreavus would fill that role much better. Haunter/Gengar is a much better special attacker, but you have an overload of special attackers already. Since Haunter/Gengar requires moves that you cannot acquire in FRLG in order to make it most effective, I would suggest dropping it and adding a physical attacker instead.

Victreebel @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
    Trait: Chlorophyll

    Docile Nature (+,-)
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Solarbeam
    - Sunny Day

    - Sleep Powder

I prefer the Swords Dancer set over this one, but it fits the team better. Simple to use. Mild would have been preferred as neutral natures are complete crap.

Charizard @ Leftovers / Shell Bell
    Trait: Blaze

    Quirky Nature (+,-)
    - Rock Slide
    - Flamethrower
    - Aerial Ace / Earthquake
    - Swords Dance / Earthquake

Meh. Not a fan of Fire-types. Their many weaknesses make them more of a liability than an asset. I would definitely make Charizard a physical attacker though. Swords Dance will definitely benefit it, but you can go with more type coverage without it. Naive would be your best option.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure

    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Softboiled
    - Aromatherapy / Heal Bell
    - Counter / Toxic / Thunder Wave

Blissey is an incredible Poke when you battle others. In-game it loses a lot of functionality since you can use items in battle and the crappy AI is too limited to be much of a challenge. I would HIGHLY suggest you go with Snorlax instead. It can also absorb special hits very well, but it can also cause damage itself.

Snorlax @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
    Trait: Thick Fat
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Curse
    - Rest
    - Return / Body Slam
    - Shadow Ball / Earthquake

This thing destroys the AI since it cannot counter it. It isn't skilled enough because it was programmed so a six-year old could beat it. It won't Haze or phaze your Curses, allowing you to boost your Atk/Def and then completely destroy everything in your path. It won't switch to a Poke that can resist Snorlax's attack (i.e. Skarmory). It resorts to overloading on accuracy-lowering modifiers that will only fail in the end. Snorlax rules.

    Fixes and suggestions in bold:
Hey guys I'm new here. Anyway, here's my team:
Alakazam @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
    Trait: Synchronize
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Psychic
    - Ice Punch
    - Thunderpunch
    - Calm Mind / Fire Punch

Good choice. You might find Fire Punch more effective than Calm Mind though, since its frailty is a big issue, even against the limited AI.

Metagross @ Leftovers / Shell Bell / Choice Band
    Trait: Clear Body
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - Agility / Shadow Ball
    - Explosion / Shadow Ball

Explosion is almost a guaranteed OHKO on any Poke in the game. Shadow Ball is also a more viable option. CMzam and Agiligross is screaming for a utility Poke to help setup (i.e. Spore Breloom).

Tyranitar @ Leftovers / Shell Bell
    Trait: Sand Stream
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)

    - Substitute
    - Focus Punch
    - Thunderbolt / Thunder
    - Crunch

    Tyraniboah.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Softboiled
    - Counter
    - Seismic Toss
    - Aromatherapy

    CounterBliss.

    Shuckle-
    Rest
    Protect
    Sandstorm
    Toxic

Breloom or Umbreom would be much more effective here.

    Skarmory @ Leftovers
    Trait: Keen Eye
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    - Spikes
    - Roar
    - Drill Peck
    - Substitute

    SubSkarm.

Any pointer and/or comments and criticism welcome.
Excellent Sandstorm coverage. Shuckle seriously just needs to go though. Definite weak link.

zach805 also has big issues, but since no help was requested, I will refrain.
