Usually I see like an army of them. But recently they HAVE been declining...
Shadinjareese said:Ash is a teenage boy on a "quest" and he meets s along the way. His obsession with Pokemon blots out relationship stuff to him so that he's probably never seen any of the s in any way other than "BFF" before. But if you imagine Ash meeting up with Misty, May, and Dawn later in life, one of those s is not like the other. May and Dawn are pretty contest-focused, something Ash could get bored with over time. They have more materialistic views, something that could easily be appreciated by Drew and maybe Kenny because those guys are similar. But who does Ash always try to meet? Gym leaders. For Gym battles. Misty's not only a great friend to him but she's probably a worthy opponent. She shares his love of Pokemon and battling, so while Ash-as-a-teenager probably won't "end up" with anyone (let's face it, that's weird...he's what, twelve by now?), were we to get any sort of epilogue, I think he and Misty are a great match. I'm not holding my breath for her to come back now, nor do I expect an engagement announcement if she does. But in the end, should we be so lucky to get a really good ending that gives it a feeling of completion (but not now!), Pokeshipping is the only one that makes sense to me.
............... is it just me, or was your proof inspired by 'proof' on how a MANPADS was related to the probable love between Ash and Cyndaquil? You got backup.
Just to see how many people wanna debate with here's proff simple math.
Luvdisc = Love
Scene of AdvanceShipping=
Ash X May x Luvdisc x Buizel x Manaphy=
Ash( Luvdisc t Water Poke) + May (Luvdisc t Water Poke)=
Ash(Luvdisc) + May (Luvdisc)=
Ash(Love) t May (Love)=
Ash X May t Shipping
AshxMay=
Advanceshipping
Scene of AdvanceShipping is close enough to A-Shipping,
Scene of AdvanceShipping therefore is A- Shipping
Scene of AdvanceShipping = Proof of AdvanceShipping
SIMPLE MATH!
The Luvdics, Buizel and Manaphy are the variables so they get crossed out because their job is done and they all are Water-types are
Ash and May are left so Ash x May= Advanceshipping. Scene of Advanceshipping is about Advanceshipping.
Scene of Advanceshipping is Proof of Advanceshipping
OR
Ash/May x Luvdisc
Ash x Luvdisc/ May x Luvdisc
Ash/May
Advanceshipping
Therefore, if Luvdisc there all around Ash and May, it means there love because
Luvdisc resembles true love. Therefore, the 8th had some Advanceshiping in it.
That's just one scene of A-Shipping there.
Still, AK9, how dare you attempt the holyness of Advanceshipping! XD
And as for names not making sense, I named Ash X Cyndaquil Strelashipping. Chain of connection-
Long chain of connection, but now I explained it to you.
- Start with Cyndaquil
- Cyndaquil is a Fire type
- Fire emits heat
- Airplanes emit heat (separate chain to connect later)
- Heat transmits InfaRed ElectroMagnetic waves (connection)
- IR EM waves are used to track airplanes in MANPortableAirDefenseSystem
- First Russian MANPADS was SA-7 NATO "GRAIL"
- Russians called SA-7 Strela
Haha, Jorah, I like your movie script parody thing. You had nothing to be nervous about, "we're all mad here" anyway (carroll ref).
Anyway, Pokeshipper here. Now that I've read the last 3 pages of debate (why when I was a frequent visitor to this thread was it never so heated? hm) I have a few things to say.
Why I Like Pokeshipping:
Ash is a teenage boy on a "quest" and he meets girls along the way. His obsession with Pokemon blots out relationship stuff to him so that he's probably never seen any of the girls in any way other than "BFF" before. But if you imagine Ash meeting up with Misty, May, and Dawn later in life, one of those girls is not like the other.

I'm referencing this...
Of course, I could be in left field....
More Simple Math!
Ash t Misty=
(Argument x n, where n is infinity)Ash t Misty=
Ash(Angry) t Misty(Angry)=
Madness t Insantiy=
2Dominate People of a relationship=
Anger( all the people around)
I'm honestly thinking about locking this, as we do have a Shipping debate thread.
However, since I'm feeling some Christmas cheer, give me a good reason to leave it open, I'll leave it be.
can you wait until one of the answers gets to 100% first
If im not wrong there was barely Advance shipping in the recent episodes. There was probably more appealshipping than Adv. I really wanted a shipping war during the recent episodes but nada, no character development at all. IDK but those episodes just weent the same as when Misty returned, and i know there was little to none adv. shipping. And when Ash and Misty met after the pokemon league there was more orange shipping, MaxMisty shipping (what was the name?) and even Gym shipping than Pokeshipping (only at the end of Scheme Team was there a bit of Poke Shipping.
Ladies and gentlemen, I have a confession to make...
I am now a fan of Chikoshipping. Fellow Chikoshippers, I ask for your guidance (and Chikoshipping fanfics, if you know any) during this time. Militant anti-Chikoshippers, I am ready to declare a flame war against you if necessary.

I'll go farther... how about we take a page from Bulbagarden's book and have a Shipping subforum? That would make it easier on us all !
