Anyway, Pokeshipper here. Now that I've read the last 3 pages of debate (why when I was a frequent visitor to this thread was it never so heated? hm) I have a few things to say.

Why I Like Pokeshipping:

Ash is a teenage boy on a "quest" and he meets girls along the way. His obsession with Pokemon blots out relationship stuff to him so that he's probably never seen any of the girls in any way other than "BFF" before. But if you imagine Ash meeting up with Misty, May, and Dawn later in life, one of those girls is not like the other. May and Dawn are pretty contest-focused, something Ash could get bored with over time. They have more materialistic views, something that could easily be appreciated by Drew and maybe Kenny because those guys are similar. But who does Ash always try to meet? Gym leaders. For Gym battles. Misty's not only a great friend to him but she's probably a worthy opponent. She shares his love of Pokemon and battling, so while Ash-as-a-teenager probably won't "end up" with anyone (let's face it, that's weird...he's what, twelve by now?), were we to get any sort of epilogue, I think he and Misty are a great match. I'm not holding my breath for her to come back now, nor do I expect an engagement announcement if she does. But in the end, should we be so lucky to get a really good ending that gives it a feeling of completion (but not now!), Pokeshipping is the only one that makes sense to me.

However, since I'm feeling some Christmas cheer, give me a good reason to leave it open, I'll leave it be.

She faces rookie trainers constantly and a few expirienced ones. Satoshi has faced the Frontier Brains. He will blow her out of the water. No pun intended.

Now, this is why PikaShipping will win out.

Pikachu and Satoshi have a great friendship. Some examples of this would be when Sato tries to contantly save Pikachu with his abnormal jumps and other things. Another example would be that he doesn't Oak Pikachu. It has been with him since the very beginning so it knows him the best out of all of his traveling companions. I'm not going to say that they'll get romantic because they will not. All I'm going to say is that at the end of the day, it will be Satoshi and Pika traveling off to more adventures and to meet new people just like at the beginning of Advanced Generation and Diamond and Pearl and when he goes home, etc.

Therefore, if Luvdisc there all around Ash and May, it means there love because
Luvdisc resembles true love. Therefore, the 8th had some Advanceshiping in it.

4. Airplanes emit heat (separate chain to connect later)
5. Heat transmits InfaRed ElectroMagnetic waves (connection)
6. IR EM waves are used to track airplanes in MANPortableAirDefenseSystem
7. First Russian MANPADS was SA-7 NATO "GRAIL"
8. Russians called SA-7 Strela

Unless my Math teacher like Pokemon (big chance [/sarcasm]), I wouldn't worry about that.

If im not wrong there was barely Advance shipping in the recent episodes. There was probably more appealshipping than Adv. I really wanted a shipping war during the recent episodes but nada, no character development at all. IDK but those episodes just weent the same as when Misty returned, and i know there was little to none adv. shipping. And when Ash and Misty met after the pokemon league there was more orange shipping, MaxMisty shipping (what was the name?) and even Gym shipping than Pokeshipping (only at the end of Scheme Team was there a bit of Poke Shipping.

Considering the circumstances, it is impossible for any answer to get to 100% because there has already been a percentage that prefers others, thus the possibilities of any answer reaching 100% is 0% because the votation of the other answers is gone forever....

Bottom line: You are waiting for something impossible.

In my opinion, I think I should agree with Charaxes. Maybe this should be closed.

but to get to charaxes point, this thread is specifically regarding Ash'slove life, whereas the shipping debates thread is for all characters. tbh, that's one of the problems of having just one thread for shipping debates.
