Well, you may be in luck for the new scans seem to *suggest* that there is another Nat. Dex in order, and the previous one will be absent of non- 1st and 2nd generation Pokemon.

I think it's fair to say Nat. Dex is going to a thing we are going to see in all of the games from now on, it's just too easy to get an Uber team so earlier on in the game without one.

Like everyone else has said, Soul is ugly and frivolous, and Kris is way better and should come back. I don't know what Nintendo was thinking. However, I'm not going to have a cow, start a riot, go wild, or any synonymous "spaz-out" term. After all, I'm being Gold anyway, and Gold is awesome.

As far as everything else, I wouldn't have it any other way. HG/SS OWNS!!!

My complaint is that my touch screen is broken and I can't get a new DS -.- we might have to use the touch screen for all the menu instead of the buttons. I REALLY hope we can use the buttons too.

in the screens it shows the buttons and some writing (im guessing saying what the buttons do) so don't panic too much :)

my complaint is there is No crystal remake >3>
I really like the third games best anyways, Though if there WAS a third remake, it makes me wonder what'll happen to Soul, or if she'll actually replace Krys (hopefully not, my brain has imploded from all the complaints on how pokemon is RUINED FOREVER for the fifthteen millionth time since pokemon has come out >x<) though i highly doubt it'll come out
But the third games usually are more fun and have some nice additions to the story ;3;
and i've never played crystal, so...

Also the fact there is no game corner in EU versions ;A;, thats not fair >3> But its not nintendo's fault, they don't want to cause problems with their silly laws >3<.

hopefully an arcade or something replaces it.

On my touch screen when i touch a place it acts like I touched another. And I can't fix it, so the touch screen is screwed. T.T I want a new DS... but they cost 130 dollars or 170 for a DSi

This is where some complaints can be brought up. As many people may have difficulty with their touchscreen. Now, I don't know if they may have it as an option to choose between the touchscreen, however it does sound like you may need to purchase a new DS or DSi if this is so. My best suggestion may be to try sites such as Ebay to see if you can buy a new DS at a lower price or bargain if you can. This way, you'll at least have no complaints for when the game is out; especially if the game actually does rely only on the touchscreen for main features like PC Boxes, the bag, team roster and stats, etc.

On the last CoroCoro Scan the pic of Gold and Soul next to that screenshot going opposite ways looked cute!

Now returning to the topic which is complaints... um... huh. I cant think of any... except that there's not enough info out! I bet when the games come out in japan everyones going to be talking about the features for a long time.

*Idea* You could just sell your old DS on Ebay (make a little money, I guess. People like to play GBA games, it'll be just like an SP.) then ask for a Dsi or new DS Lite for Christmas. Then, later, you can use your Christmas money to buy HG/SS. This is off-topic, but I like to give ideas. :P

And replace the game corner with something similar on european versions then I have no complaints.

Im not to happy about the absence of Kris or the fact that the touch screen will be used so much. I try to use that as least as possible. Also I dont like Silvers outfit in his sprite.

I'm not too crazy about Silver's sprite either. I want his pants blue like the concept art.

Silver's pose for his sprite I wouldn't say is terrible. It matches his old art in a kind of way. However, I had only wished that his sprite design would have been more something that matches his art. The jacket was an absolute win in his Sugimori art and I was disappointed that they didn't keep it in his sprite. His hair has kept a little difference as well from his new art as it doesn't look like much the same, but that doesn't bother me too much. Though, I would have liked it if they spent more time with Silver and really gave him a solid look in the game. If his Pokémon are stronger from before then I guess I would be satisfied enough. I do agree that itll be ashame not to give him a nice animation like what was done with Barry. I think it might add some more character to his sprite and role in the game.

Anyway, there isn't much for me to complain about except this one minor factor. Which, this was seen last week in the latest set of scans with Silver vs. Gold, but it was a little downside to the rival. Nevertheless, it isn't a large fault as I'm sure it'll be made back up somehow for him.

Honestly, I have no complaints about this game. I'm just happy we're getting a remake. I'm sorry to those who are truly upset over certain aspects of the game. I wish you guys could be 100% happy as well. I was just joking when I complained about Silver. I think he's cool the way he is and I love Ilex Forest and the Tododile sprite. Once I saw a clearer picture of Tododile, I liked him. I'm not going to complain because Game Freak remade a game I've been wanting for a long time.

I too hate the fact about the absence of Kris but she is from Crystal Version; not Gold or Silver.

These are remakes of Gold and Silver, therefore they must make the female character for Gold and Silver since there never was one.

Then again, I don't really know. >.>

Anyone a tad annoyed with these Event Pokemon?

Anyone a tad annoyed with these Event Pokemon? Its not so much the regular events to get a Darkrai and etc. But these new events where if you want to get a notch-earred Pichu you must first get the pikachu-coloured Pichu, this part is fine, but pikachu-coloured Pichu is only avilable for attending the 12th movie.

Same with the Arceus, but I find this one is worse. In order to unlock this small side story of the Unown and Arceus (that looks incredibly interesting) you must have a 12th movie addition Arceus, which on information so far is almost exactly the same as any other Arceus.

To me it just seems like a big hastle in order to unlock this extra content by having these special event pokemon. Not all of us can attend to 12 movie and it probably won't have an event in most countries.

Unless these two pokemon become avilable over wi-fi I think this is a really stupid idea. These wi-fi events finally let everyone grab the event pokemon, this is a step backwards.

I say whatever cause I believe how the platinum Arceus can unlock the special character in the mines and Canalave Library in platinum that it can unlock the event so no big deal. How that arceus will be gotten is most likely through WiFi with the azure flute as was for the membership card, and oak's letter.
