Name: Alexandria Jameson
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Nicknames: Alex, Lexi and Jay, though she uses the last more often.
Snake Species: Hydrophis belcheri, the faint-banded sea snake. The DNA has given her the status the Scarer with the worst venom (where even a few milligrams of the myotoxic venom is strong enough to kill over half a thousand people, and the infrequent bite containing the venom can kill a man in a matter of minutes), despite her extremely rare usage of it, and patches of skin across her body (specifically on the left leg, right arm and hand, left cheek, and down her back) are actually scales that typically reveal themselves thoroughly when using her powers, and act as a semi-armor. It's also given her an amazing talent at swimming, and allows her to hold her breath for hours on end.
Powers: Alexandria's first ability consists of controlling the molecular structure of her own body and anything her hands are touching. This'll range from giving herself extra appendages to modifying her venom to literally turning lead into gold. It lacks full natural shapeshifting between species of animals, but she's found many uses for it including "healing" others, so to speak. Her second power regards vectors, and can control motion, similarly to telekinesis; however, she has a few differences from telekinesis in the fact that she can't teleport or communicate telepathically, among other things. This Vector Control is solely restricted to manipulating velocity and direction, but can affect matter, energy and waves such as radiation or sound.
Appearance: Lacking a tan, Alexandria's a fair-skinned Caucasian. She's strong, but her body's slender, standing at 5' 4" and weighing only 103 lbs. Normally, her eyes are her natural bright blue, but she's changed the color on occasion. Her hair, long, straight and dark blonde, is typically fixed up under her mask-hood. The few occasions she takes it off, her hair falls down to her hips at the back and sides, though the bangs barely cover her eyes.
Normally (as in on a daily basis), Alexandria will be wearing clothes covering her entire body much like a ninja's outfit, and in multiple colors (though typically black and white). Each piece of the outfits are made up of double-layered cotton and rayon, able to keep her at a good body temperature in any weather. The outfits are loosened lightly and the combination mask-hoods cover all but the eyes, giving Jay a androgynous appearance (which ends up making people believe she's a man combined with her nickname and ambiguous "outside" voice, despite a rather obviously feminine tone at a lower volume; even most who know her think she's male). On top of it many of the outfits are torn at the waist to make a belt, instead of having belts all their own.
If she ever has to wear something formal (which thankfully happens practically once in a lifetime), no one would recognize her, and it's where using her "Lexi" nickname pops up. Instead of an exciting shinobi outfit, Jay wears tie-dyed, sleeveless sundresses with flower patterns on it that reaches down just past her knees. The straps holding the top to her collarbone are about an inch wide and cross over each other in the back. In the issue of footwear, she wears a pair of tightly-made straw sandals or just goes barefoot.
Personality: Out of everything, the most noticeable thing about Jay is the fact that she's practically the opposite of a normal Scarer. She is unaggressive, and she somewhat abhors fighting in its entirety, preferring to resort to diplomacy before having to hurt someone. Instead, she's a thinker, learning and using her knowledge as effectively as possible. This quality makes her well-fit for a leader role, but she typically refrains from giving out commands, leaving the job to another.
She's extremely shy when she's off-duty, to the point that very few people can even get within arm's reach of her, and even on-duty she won't talk much. That said, when she has a task on hand, she's very dedicated, and tends to make sure she sees it through. However, in spite of all the coldness people get from her, she's an emotionally-inclined person with those close to her.
Strengths: Jay is quite the acrobat, both flexible and agile. She's also a quick and extensive thinker. And finally, while it may not be the best of strengths, Jay has a sense of mercy, even to the mutants she's tasked to chase down.
Shortcomings: She has yet to realize the best of her abilities; Jay doesn't fit the typical description or expectations of a Scarer all too well, either (she even dislikes the title of Scarer), making her kind of stand out among the others. Along with it, she prefers to avoid fighting altogether, not often going on an offensive; this causes her to come off as weak to plenty of people. Finally... well, it's not like she hates it, but she's... an A-cup. And she WILL hurt someone who's stupid enough to bring it up in earshot of her.
Likes: Simplicity; cooperation; manners; and, at many times, finds solace and peace being around water. For some reason, she has a fixation on ninja and acrobatics, spending plenty of time working out like a gymnast.
Dislikes: Disorder amongst her own allies; noise; someone insulting her bust size; and did I mention noise? From a pencil scraping on paper to a crowd where it's unavoidable, she hates hates HATES it. Oh, and CROWDING. Crushed between people, it's disgusting to her and can get her claustrophobic fairly easily.
History: (Sorry, I ain't good at makin' none of this history mumbo-jumbo when I can't think too well, so it'll suck hard.) Alexandria doesn't like to talk about her past, mainly because she doesn't remember much of it. Her earliest remotely-clear memory was being left at the School by her parents; she can't even remember what they looked like, they just didn't want a child anymore.
Then it was the experimenting. She was terrified by the snake that provided the DNA for her, and for good reason: it was a record holder for the world's most toxic venom, the Hydrophis belcheri. The horrid feeling only faded weeks after being given the DNA (where she was actually given 8% instead of 2%, the scientists believing the snake's nature would keep it from taking a good effect in the small dose) and she related to the belcheri's docile style.
Then started her training; Jay was trained to be an aggressive fighter, but to no avail. Even when she exhibited the powers to control things on a molecular level, among other abilities over the years, she still wouldn't use them for offensive reasons. She only ever attacked someone had they attacked first, and after that she'd just go back to her normal reclusive self. Most of the time she spent outside training was away from the other Scarers, and since many of the other mutants hated the Scarers, away from them as well.
When the Gen-127 mutants broke out, Jay was one of many Scarers that were sent to retrieve them first. She still didn't bring herself to attack any of the mutants. Instead, she used her abilities for the purpose of entrapment, assisting other Scarers in the same job quite a bit.
Other: She specializes in using her abilities defensively and for other non-damaging purposes such as trapping, so she's lacking somewhat in the offense department.
