To be fair, we did find Professor Birch without his bag being attacked by a Poochyena, so I don't think it's as much nostalgia as the fact that the bag will still be there on the ground when you select who you want to help him out.

No, I meant that the scene was giving me nostalgia, not that it was made for that purpose xP

BTW you guys were right, that guy at the cave was Steven, not Brendan like I thought. It was Granite cave though instead of Origin Cave. I wonder if all the caves in Hoenn will have a little of the story of the Ancient Mascots.

So I think this confirms that Birch getting attacked by a wild Pokémon event at the beginning by the looks of this screenshot! Notice how the textbox is very similar to the textboxes they had in RSE too, or is that just me?

There are new screenshots in Serebii showing the top of Mt. Chimney and other parts of it during the Magma Vs. Aqua scene (or vice versa for AS). I like how the building for the cable car looks now.

You're certainly not alone on that observation, and I don't think it's a coincidence, haha. Love that they did that, makes me nostalgic about the old games! Keeping some things similar adds a lot to remakes, I think. If there's too many new features, the core of the games is lost, but looks like RSE lives on in ORAS. Think about how hilarious it'll be to see Professor Birch get chased around by a Zigzagoon in 3D. xD

I'm certain that the story will be the same as R/S only with additions. I noticed that they kept some things similar in SS that were in Silver too. They're like little Easter eggs that reference the original design :). HgSs had the biggest so far out of the two pairs that have come out with the GBC tunes. Wonder if ORAS will have something that can one up that.

I think they'll show off Mega Sableye and the other Megas. Maybe some unseen footage. Perhaps we'll get some tidbits of the story.

I have a feeling that we will see a new mega in the 2nd Mega special, maybe Mega Sceptile 2, or something. I don't see Get, showing anything new. Maybe a few other areas like others have said.

Everything I have wanted to see has been revealed so far. Only thing I am still waiting for is the almighty Rayquaza. *looks in the past* Maybe they will reveal Delta Emerald lol. Doubtful and probably will not come out. I am hoping to see Mega Raichu though.

Actually Raichu is a Hoenn native, it's in the Hoenn dex of RSE. So it getting a Mega wouldn't be too far fetched. I think we won't see many non Hoenn dex Pokemon get Megas, but I hope that we'll get a Mega Lugia and Ho-oh.
