It's always possible considering the Gen V games had difficulty settings. Although I do doubt that that feature will be included in ORAS

The Friend Safari was one of the worst new features introduced in X and Y. I shouldn't have to be forced to search the Internet to find people to add just to be able to use what was a standard feature in previous generations.

Can males really pass down hidden abilities? I'm wanting a certain Pokemon in a Friend Ball, which is an apricorn ball, so I was thinking of transferring a female one in a Friend Ball up to my X game and then breeding it with a male with its hidden ability. Is this how it works?

A Pokemon being small is no reason to not do something. In HG and SS they made sprites for every Pokemon and just scaled all of them up / down until they were at a reasonable size.

Tropius is a wild pokemon in the demo. It's sprite is still flying
