Definitely Kakuna or Metapod. If you evolve them from Weedle or Caterpie they're not so bad because then they at least know Poison Sting or Tackle, respectively, but if you catch them evolved in the wild its just HARDEN. Ugh.
These look really good, your lines are impressively smooth, and the designs are pretty official-looking. You might want to start thinking about light sources with your shading though. I can't wait till you get the rest of them up, the silhouettes have me wondering.
I've been drawing for a long time. Maybe around 10 or 11 years by now, and Pokemon has always been something I've loved drawing. It hasn't really changed. Most of this is older, but I'll continue to add what new stuff I do. This goes in order from oldest to newest.
Kuroko and Akira
Kuroko is...
I did in Blue. Without cheating, except for Mew. But that's a special case. Everything else I caught on my own or traded for. I still have that Blue around somewhere...
Yellow is the Master Version in this case. Green is...a special case. In Japan, Green and Red were released with Yellow as the Master Version after the popularity of the show. Green was never released in America, instead it was replaced with Blue, which was just like Red, except for certain...
Nope, I felt like that was mean :C if it refused it in Yellow, why trade it and force it? I know it's just a game, but...
I didn't really like evolving Pikachu in any other game either, it's too cute. I catch one every time I start a new game and its always part of my party. Last time though, I...
Usually I name my rivals what their names are "supposed" to be, like in RBY I'd name him Gary or Shigeru, Silver I named "Jerk" because he was one. However in D/P I named the kid "Farts" because it made me laugh every time I battled him.
7 or 8. I got Blue for Christmas one year, can't remember if it was 98 or 97, along with the Atomic Purple GBC. Then for my birthday soon after I got Yellow (whichever year that was released, I don't know). I let my cousin borrow Yellow and his dog chewed it up ;_;
Blue. Best Christmas ever. And I still have it after more than 10 years, completely beaten. When the internal battery on that thing dies I'm having a memorial service. And then I'm going to replace it and beat it again.
My favorite rivals were Gary and Silver. Gary, because, hey, he was the original antithesis to the protagonist- treated his Pokemon poorly. Silver, however, just seemed to one-up that. The way he talked and ran around so rushed made him seem more rough to me. Every rival after that has just been...
I find this very interesting. Christmas 1998 I received Blue version. 101 hours logged over 10 years and the battery is still kicking. Sometime in 2001 I bought Silver. After about five years and maybe 50 hours the battery died. I bought a Red version from a friend when I was 12, but the battery...
Four words:
Mew under the truck.
Also that there was a TM, I think TM21, called TOMBSTONE. You could use it to break the rocks surrounding Pallet town and get to the grass on the other side and catch the starter Pokemon.
If you look, when you go into Bill's house in Cerulean Cape in R/B the...
