Well if you talk about moves, I remember it is completely possible to add D/P or other new attacks into the ROM. You may search from the web if you are interested, but it may take time to find the right tool.

Well it is comprehensible that you dont know how to script at this moment. You can find someone to help you, or learn it by yourself(which may take forever). But anyway, scripting is a lot easier for ROM hackers than for game developers. You dont have to learn advanced programming skills like Ruby or C+.

Well yeah, Pokemon is apparently not my only interest. I love playing video games like FF series and reading fictions. It would be nice if you can show me an example of your fanfic, and it doesnt have to be about pokemon.

Wait a sec, did you misunderstood what I meant by "scripting"? Well in the field of game development, scripting means programming or coding, not writing a script of dialogues for NPCs. XD

Well I dunno if I can help you on hacking, since I am making a game using different engine. I have a staff member Destrozone who has a hack of his own, and he is doing everything by himself. I'd recommend you to turn to Des for help if you need any advice on hacking, and guess he will help since you are both spriters.

lol does it sound weird? I have a few staff members who have their own hacks/games to work on, and I dont really mind as long as they stay on my team. Anyway, will you try to learn scripting someday?

There are lots of other things you may need to consider for a hack/fangame. The maps, sprites, tiles, and custom features... What tiles are you gonna use for your hack, the default tileset or Kyledove tilesheet? I have custom tiles for my game(and sprites I think, but guess you can make all sprites for your hack by yourself), and I can share the tileset for Pkmn HOF with you if you want to.

I see, so you used to be on Serebii a lot before, didnt you? Like I have mentioned before, Serebii is for artists/spriters, while PC is for hackers/game developers. It is comprehensible that you are on PC instead of Serebii now since your interest has switched to ROM hacking, am I right?

So some of your fakemon will be based on existing pokemon, and others will be completely from scratch. Are your fakemon exclusive to your hack only, or are you okay sharing some of them like those pre-evos or evolution forms of existing pokemon to public? Just curious.

I see, so good luck making your fakemon(200+ is way too much, 50-100 may be better for you though). I know they will turn out to be almost as good as existing pokemon, not like may crappy fakemon sprites I've seen from other hacks/fangames.

Well I didnt know you were on Serebii too, but it seems that there are much more artists and spriters on Serebii than PC. PC is apparently famous for its hacks and fangames. Did you register on PC after you became interested in hacks?

I see, thats less than 100 pokemon. So are you going to make 200+ fakemon to fill in the 386 pokemon cap, or are there gonna be less than 386 pokemon available in your hack? Just curious.

It seems that you will have room for a male version of Kirlia. Are you interested in making pre-evos or evolution forms of existing pokemon? I have a friend Suzume who used to make lots of pre-evolution pokemon, and they look pretty cute(I have added them to my fangame, so yay!). Here is here sprites thread:
