How did you get started with the TCG?
I started when the base set came out when I was about 6 years old. Being a child, I could never really look to complete sets or anything like that, but I've always treasured the cards I owned. I still have all of the cards from then, and since I was a...
I kind of felt the same way for a while. I think, at least for me, it's because of getting a new game so soon. I'm not ungrateful in anyway, but usually we have much longer in between games and I kind of felt I had to "do over" a lot of the things I had just done in X and Y. Once I got myself to...
Even though everyone already has a Blaziken after they gave it away for X and Y, I'll still probably use Torchic to start. It's what I used back in the day, and I think that I'll probably end up going with that on my first play through.
However, I do want to be able to get the other two...
I really want the option to not have to wear a hat... And maybe make the clothes cheaper as well? I felt like I wanted to buy all of them, but that was difficult to do when some of them (especially the ones in Lumiose City).
I felt like they weren't precise enough for me to use for tight maneuvers on my 3DS XL... Maybe I am just no good at working them, I don't know lol. I like the feature overall though. You can never complain about more ways to move faster!
I really loved that feature in HGSS! I don't think they'll be able to realistically do it on the 3DS though. I'm glad they're keeping amie though, it's adorable!
I did like in X and Y that they let you skip a large part of the tutorial section. As for your point, I agree that the directions probably wouldn't help children. They probably don't read it anyways lol. I know I would skip most of the dialog in the game when I was a kid.
I really loved Black/White 2 as well! I was SO EXCITED when they did the new sequel thing instead of making that Grey version that was rumored. I hope they continue this theme moving forward :p And I do agree that you can never be too old for Pokemon lol. Thanks for pointing out the Psychic...
I usually play one copy using the Pokemon I catch during the game, and the other using Pokemon I traded over. I'll play through Sapphire first (since that was my game back when :P) and try to catch the same Pokemon I used in that game originally :P For Ruby, I'll probably use a team of Pokemon...
Overall, I like the games and the updates they did to the graphics. I like the Amie feature a lot, because it's super cute to be able to feed my Pokemon the little puffs. I also loved being able to make my trainer look different, A LOT. Many of the new Pokemon were great, and I enjoy using them...
