The lack of wild battles is -almost- a deal breaker for me. I was hoping that the Go capture mexhanics would come into play when youvtoss a ball but youd still have to weaken the Pokemon.
I wonder how Professor Oak’s tutorial is going to changed. I guess now its dangerous to travel without...
Not a specific Pokémon type gripe, but I've always been annoyed that Steel isn't effective against Dragons. It felt like it would've been the natural thing to do (swords slay dragons)
Charmander was my first starter in Red and I'm 90% sure I caught a Pidgey named "Feathers" first. That was almost 20 years ago, though so memory's a bit fuzzy.
A non-linear Gym system. Something like you can do certain gyms in any order, as long as you do a certain three before the next three, etc. (I would have the first gym and last gym be mandated, but the middle six separated into three and three).
I always thought it'd be cool to have some form of control over the battle camera. Either to keep it positioned at one of the angles, manually change the angles, or even keeping the movement fluidly when a Pokémon attacks without the quick cut.
Unfortunately, right now there's no way.
Something cool I'd like to see is a hack based completely on exploration. There wouldn't be TOO much story, pretty much just a reason for the player to go to this newly discovered region with little, if any, human inhabitants. It'd be all wild Pokémon and barely traversed terrain. The player...
I've never actually role-played here on PC. I started RPing on another forum years ago and have only ever done it there (once on another forum but with only people from the previous forum). Back in the day, Id spend hours on it a day; I was very passionate about it. In fact, it was RPing that...
From what I've gathered, the dead links are because of a hacking issue the entire site had and when it was reset/fixed, ALL of the links stopped working. The more active/current threads had theirs replaced, but not the dead threads.
What are this fire dancers called in Hawaii? They have the sticks with flames at both ends that they twirl. If he studies dances with his Marowak, I can definitely see Marowak's Alolab form being that, with bone club on fire
I remember playing a bit of the second Spectrobes game. It was pretty decent, but lackluster. For one, having to use your actual voice for a game takes me out of the experience. The story was interesting, though, but I don't think it was meant to rival Pokémon directly; the concepts are too...
I don't know if this is something I'll pursue myself -since I've already had several ideas on what to do for my first hack- but I still wanted to get the idea out there.
Since Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm, I was thinking of a more traditional version of it. The mechanics of Go...
My wife and I unfortunately don't have much data on our cell phone plan. We were planning on increasing it but our excess money is going toward a new place. As a result, I pretty much only play at home and at work (don't tell my boss). We currently live in a small town so free wifi is rare aside...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Go players not having been fans of the series until now. Go is completely unique compared to the rest of the franchise and it's a mobile app with little story; they still might not be interested in the main series and that's perfectly fine. The franchise is...
