Having a ridiculously tough time catching Ho-Oh... over the past two re-sets I've thrown an estimated 50 Ultra Balls at it while it was Critical Health + Paralyzed... and it's breaking out right away. Can't remember ever having this much trouble catching a legendary before.

In general yes I do like the Idea of shiny Pokemon, they are quite rare and come off as being a novelty. there's no ultra advantage to them, other then just having an alternate color, but for collection purposes I think they are cool.... some people just get too obsessed with having Shiny...

Anyone notice that in D/P/Pl it seems like it takes forever to get the the 3rd/4th gyms?... compared to the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn games you are traveling a lot before you get those badges.
