I just read that (^) and thought of something funny. What if you faint a shiny pokemon you found in the wild, and they go tell the other shiny pokemon to hide and NEVER to come out? Maybye thats why Chibi_Naruto hasn't seen one ever again! lol -- I've NEVER found or caught a shiny pokemon...

Maybe there is dust in the cartridge. Try blowing in the bottom, that'll probably fix it unless the real problem was found and fixed. Similar things have happened to me with my silver, however, I doubt it has anything to do with Ruby.

I can't make it a transparent bg. When I save it as a .gif, the colors change. I used paint.
