Zapdos. Just a normal...Zapdos. :(
I needed a decent electric pokemon, since I didn't catch a Pikachu and I evolved Eevee to Vaporeon.
I've never, ever seen a shiny pokemon (and I had Gold before it's UK release, and Ruby before it's UK release). Not even in a ROM. Unless I saw one an never...
I got Blue as a Christmas present back in 1999 (I was 12 I think). Luckily I bought the guide afterwards to help get past Victory Road. I could never see the path I was supposed to take until I loaded it up on my Super GameBoy (SNES thing) and the colours were defined. I used to think there was...
Those screenshots are very impressive! I don't post much but that is definitely worthy. I hope you can finish this because it would make one hell of a hack. The attention to detail is awesome, keep up the great work. ;)
I don't actually. Although I spent all my money of Full Restores and Revives to beat the E4. I came close twice, the first time Steven's last pokemon beat me with maybe 12HP.
My excuse is that I was evening the levels. I don't really like the use of items, but it was my only choice.

I also hate the fact that gym leaders (and especially the E4) abuse hyper potions, full restores, etc. That's probably the most annoying thing.
I'd prefer Lightning Yellow myself, as Thunder is just a noise, not an electrical discharge. ;)
It'd be alright. There are still people who play pokemon for the sheer cuteness of it, Yellow would suit them perfectly. And besides, it'd be great to have all three starters again AND Pikachu.
The current pokemon types are fine. Each has weaknesses and strengths, there's no reason to change it. I think the main reason behind the introduction of Dark and Steel types were to stop Psychic trainers just beating everything in their path.
Meh, no one really bothers me about it anymore at school. They all know I'm the school's computer guy. I sometimes take in my X-Box, PS2 or GameCube in for the last day of school (it's usually just a mess around day because hardly anyone shows up on the last day of term). I usually take my...
I find it slightly strange that in R/S you battle a Poochyena to save Birch, but you don't get any EXP. points for it. Not amazing, but it doesn't make sense.
Yeah. They're the first 'big' exams you sit after four years at high school, in the UK. I'm sitting my Higher exams just now (the next one's on Wednesday), I was doing my Standard Grades/GCSEs last year, so good luck Yamichi. Glad to see you're not putting your hacking higher on your priority...
