Dude, after a long hiatus from this forum, I come back to find you arguing with some of the ROM Hacking communities biggest names. Let me spell out exactly what a persons first impression of this argument is (considering I hardly know you):

    1) You're arguing that you can do something, which you are well within your right to do. However, considering that the likes of Jambo and ASM hackers have been around doing similar things that you are doing for longer, did it not occur to you that they may have actually done similar things to you before, and so know the perils with such routes? And even so, you cannot call them "weird" or that people are "blindly following them" (your words exactly btw, I read your posts), when people have actually tried to find simpler solutions and (on the whole), they have not worked.

    2. You do seem quite rude. Going to a hack in your past and saying "Mine's better it has this" is just rude. I know this was a while ago, but even recently you went to someone's hack which is well in progress with regular updates and said "I think that is the next only rumored hack without any release so far." That's just rude, and to an extent a little hypocritical, wouldn't you say, considering that you said about this hack that vanished?

    3. Whilst on the whole ASM thing, I noticed you put that those that learn ASM only do so as they don't know how to do certain things and so turn to ASM. You have no idea how complex ASM is and to be honest, is actually a last resort for many of the hacking community. It is also one of the most efficient ways if done right as well though, making it a powerful, yet tricky, tool. Most hackers will have tried everything before going to ASM, so you're just coming across as a little ignorant.

I have nothing against you, but this is a viewpoint of an outsider of this whole event. Please, do not be so disrespectful to people in the future. If you have found another way to do things, cool, post about it, if they complain, calmly state what you did and post evidence of it working, if they still don't agree with it, that is within their right, just as it is within yours to complain about their methods. OK?
I hear you need a wild Pokemon editor for the extended mons? If you did it with Karatekid's tool I have a solution :)
"This is unfair that all young hackers ideas was dissbaned and everyone blindly follow progresses of JAMBO51 and other most famous hackers."

Seriously? Are you really that cowardly and pathetic?

At no stage did any of us ever forbid you from attempting to come up with alternative solutions, and that sort of thinking is why hacking continues to progress even now.

But, when we offer you advice - and that's all it ever was - telling you that ASM is a necessity, there's a good reason we have offered you said advice. Did you ever stop to think that we maybe tried the exact same thing you did, only to find out it didn't work?
This is how you do it:
Yes, ASM stuff can be done by hex editing. But as I mentioned, you are blindly doing things. ASM allows you to understand where you need to make the hex changes necessary to do things. And as I told you yesterday, I would rather have 649 Pokemon then 411 Pokemon. It's best to have more options.
Anyways I'm done talking with you too. Neither of us are obviously going to change our minds, so this conversation is pointless. Have fun stumbling around in Pokemon Ruby.
Ok Jambo51 found the directsound changing method, who you seem to hate btw. And no, I am not blindly following karatekid552 and Jambo51. They've looked into the ROM themselves, have done countless hours of research on expanding the Pokedex, and actually know what they're doing. You, on the other hand, are just blindly hex editing things. And you say your method works? Sure, it works, only by pure luck. I already told you, your method only works because the people coding Ruby made a mistake. Reread what I told you. It will NOT work for other games, because they have ASM limiters. Your refusal to even try ASM has made you the laughingstock of other communities. You are the hater. The hater on ASM. Have a nice day.
And you say Gogo is the only normal hacker on Pokecommunity. Well do you want to know how he expanded his Pokedex? He used ASM. Oh no, what a shocker, he used the evil ASM. Seriously, go ask him how he expanded his Pokedex and made the Poketch. I'm sure he'll enlighten you on ASM and C programming. Or maybe he won't, since you're too stubborn for your own good.
"ASM is not needed for do it."
ASM IS needed to expand the Pokedex. Actually, you know what, I'm done trying to reason with you, since you're obviously not changing your mind on this. Here, if you like your "method" so much, why don't you try and replicate this on Emerald? Or even better, why don't you expand your "method" so that 600+ Pokemon can be caught on Pokemon Ruby. And please make a video on how you did it too. THEN I'll believe your method.
More pertinently, if you have a problem with what we've said or done, tell us to our faces instead of being a little snide *censored for my own good*.

It's not clever or in any way brave to whine about us behind our backs on other people's threads. Have some dignity.
Really? You don't seem to understand that myself and karatekid552 are actually trying to help your development as a hacker. Snide remarks like your one on the platinum blue and red thread aren't going to win you any friends, and could get you into bother.

I implore you, listen to our advice, we are telling you FROM EXPERIENCE that your method does not work as you advertise.
Go ahead, use it in your hack. I will play your hack, find all of the issues caused by it and post them on your thread in big letters with screen shots and videos. It won't be hard since I already know where to look. Have a good day!
Bro, try creating a new ability without ASM, i bet you won't be able to do it until your death, let's just accept the truth that ASM is necessary
ASM is not always needed to do things. You don't need ASM to:
    change dex entries
    script events
    make new maps
    insert sprites
    add new music
    edit pokemon stats
    edit evolutions
    change movesets
    edit move stats
    hack the titlescreen
    insert new tiles
    make events
    give items
    create new items
    change TMs and HMs
change the ability to learn TMs & HMs
    edit egg moves
    etc

For the LAST TIME, ASM is not hard. It is your stubbornness that is. As my band director says, "The only music you don't like to play is the music that is hard, but guess what, if you work on it, it becomes easy and you will like the music." This applies to EVERYTHING in life. If you aren't willing to work, of course it will be hard. In the past month, I have seen 5 new talented ASM hackers break onto the scene. How long have you been squabbling about how hard ASM is? Over 6 months. It takes just a few days to learn the syntax of ASM and maybe a month to get the feel (If you practice it more, you can learn it quicker. I got the feel in 2 weeks). You have been complaining to EVERYONE around the forum about how hard it is for 6 months. I have seen all of the deleted posts/threads and closed threads. I'm a mod, I know and see things. And yet, people are still surpassing you. Everyday, someone new tries ASM and learns the right way to do things, not blindly overwriting data and brute forcing things until they halfway work. If you method breaks anything at all, ANYTHING AT ALL, it is a failure. In hacking, if you have to give up the smallest feature to make a different feature work you have failed at your job.

You don't even know why the tables are there. That is your issue. You are blindly doing things without wondering what will happen. Your method has issues and everyone on the internet has agreed with that. Not just people on this website, but people around the world on different websites. Even people without ASM knowledge know that your method is wrong.
