    • I love Voltorb Flip.

    Finally, the Game Corner doesn't require LUCK anymore.

    Jeez, it was annoying having to buy everything. I'm already a little short on cash.

    Red has been up-levelled in Gen IV. ;)

    The thing that annoys me the most is, as has been said, the lack of VS Seeker. Those phone calls get my hopes up, thinking I might get a rebattle... instead? "Oh, I saw a Rattata. Bye!"

    "We caught a Rattata, but then we let it go."

    "My Rattata has been working really hard lately!"

    "I've been cooking up some new strategies using Rattata!"

    If you're not going to battle me, I don't care about your bloody Rattata!

    Oh, and Voltorb Flip is annoying, too.

    I love this game but some complaints of mine:

    - Pointless calls from people (I just got one as soon as I finished this lol). I especially hate whenever my mom calls telling me that brought something with my own money. Most of what she buys isn't that great either. :/

    - This is more neutral than anything, but the amount of legendaries overwhelm me. I got the bird trios, the sacred beats, Lugia, Ho-oh, Latias, and Kyogre to catch, among others. I love how you got a lot to catch but it seems like too much for me.

    As said, that's more of a neutral thing as I can live with it. Just something that will bother me a bit with not much else to do.

    -You can't buy money in the Game Corner. I think I know why now but when I first noticed I was mad because it would take forever to buy things. I always brought my coins instead of playing the slots. :/ At least Voltorb Flip is pretty fun.



    Despite that I see a lot more ups than downs, but those three bother me most about the game.

    Gym Leader Levels

    Just as a general interest, has anyone else noticed that there seems to be nowhere good for training for the gyms in johto? For example, im up to olivine city, and jasmines pokés are lv 30&35, but the route before olivine is about lv 14-17 and after is something like 11-24 only.

    • Merged your complaint on the low leveled Gym Leader levels here. In all honesty, the Gym Leaders are fine, it's just that the areas around and trainers should be higher so it'll make training a little more easier. Though, if that were the case, then the Leaders and Elites could have been a bit higher too.

    yeah, like, the only way to get lv 30ish pokés atm is to go deep into mt mortar (according to serebii) as lake of rage route is all 'teen' level pokés and you cant get past mahogany town just yet.. =/ any ideas people?

    My ONLY complaints (I love this game♥) is the pointless calls people give me and I wonder why I even said they could have my phone number. xD

    My biggest complain is the damn phone calls as well. I could care less about the stupid poliwhirl that's too much for the sailor although it does make the game different haha.

    Agreed, I actually had to trade over to Sinnoh, right before hitting the Elite 4, and train my team over there so I could then then bring them back all buffed up and ready to battle.

    I beg to differ though, I actually love the Voltorb Flip. I've wasted hours playing the game, and even though I've only made it to Level 3, it's so much easier than the Slot Machines. Plus, I don't have to worry about wasting my money to buy coins all the time. Even though they removed something original from the game, I don't mind the change they made here at all. It's better than having nothing, that's for sure.

    I agree with Hiiro; I actually prefer Voltorb Flip to the old card flip game. It seems that Voltorb Flip involves more actual skill. At first I was terrible at it, but slowly I've learnt to get the hang of it, so I no longer even bother going for squares that I know will probably hold a 1. With careful deduction, Voltorb Flip can reap great rewards! And it's all the more satisfying than a luck-based game.

    1. Phone calls ! Like everyone before me, who cares about that dang stupid Ratatta which is "top-percentage Ratatta ." . God bless you kid, just gimme some berries and scam ! :/

    2. Slowpoke Well Mapping . What the hell, this is a remake, right ? Most of the maps differ now woth many other cliffs and cllimbs, but the Slowpoke Well is something else ! I didn't climb down the stairs first because I was used to the GSC design of our darling well . Why in the world did they burn it ? :(

    That is all . In the rest, the games are flawless . It took me quite a while to find it ! :)

    • One of the the complaints I have is the lack of a VS Seeker and Some wild Pokemon's levels. I also wish you could have had a secret base or were at least able to decorate your room, and I wish there were an underground to dig in.

    • Game is great, but like the games before it, it has flaws:

    1. Voltorb Flip: I understand the ban in the EU, but to replace it with something as stupid as this? PLUS the fact that can't just buy the coins anymore. So dumb.

    2. Lack of decent training areas. Seriously. Its quite a pain hen training for a gym and the only Pokes you can train on are 8-10 levels below you. This also brings me to:

    3. Lack of VS. Seeker. Seriously, if I'm training for a gym battle, I don't wanna wait until friday JUST so I can gain a level then wait another week.

    4. The donphan/Ursaring switch. Why? ):

    5. The safari zone. I understand that they wanna bring attention to it, but to make it the only place to get certain rare pokemon? On top of waiting for them AND the already-stupid safari zone rules? So freaking bad.
