    • I dislike uber-violent games. I don't see why they should exist. Not that all M rated games are bad; the ESRB has some major flaws. There are some games that have taste, and then there are those that don't. No mater how mature we think we are, we still shouldn't play them. How many here just ignore the M rating?

    Regardless of how I feel about that, I don't think that gaming had anything to do with this tragic event. You can see my comments in the trhead related to the subject. But in a nutshell - more info about the killer is slowly being revealed. Essentially, everyone knew he was a nutcase. They have a for several years.

    So, gaming is not to blame. Incompetence, yes. Especially with this one. He was a threat to himself and others. But, of course you can't deny them an education, or else you get sued. Because that was so worth all those innocent lives. @@ Bleh.

    I was also extremely disturbed to see the shooting already blamed on video games. And I agree with Andy that yes, it is horrible that they are pushing THEIR agenda when it is a TRAGEDY.

    Politicians and lawyers know absolutely no shame.

    Anyway, who here Pokemon Diamond/Pearl? I know Robo has it, but anyone else got their hands on it yet? Robo hates me because of my Gyarados (if he hates it now he should wait till I get all the moves XD), I need to battle Jake and some others.
    Right now I'm level 34-40 and I beat 3 Gyms.

    I was really shocked by this one. I knew Pokemon was still big out there (out there as in the US), but my jaw dropped when I saw they hit the big 1 mill mark in just 5 days. Sure it isn't the 1.5 million Japan had in it's first week, but still, for games that's said to be "kiddie" I think it did far far better then well, I think it did really really great.

    • I have Diamond but I haven't really played that much, my Pokemon are level 37, 37, 37, 41, 36, 37. I have beat 4 gyms. My brother already beat the Elite 4 but he also has a lot of free time.

    Two of the big 3 will be delayed into 2008, if it's not one then it's two. I really don't care which one will see release in NA this year because I love all three of the games and their franchise.

    It didn't really shock me, what with all the pre-ordering that had been happening.

    • I have it, i got it around 9am. Haven't played that much, but it's not as good as i expected. It's basically a flashed up more optioned GBA one, with wifi thrown on as the main gimmick. And this is coming from a pretty devoted Pokemon fan, please don't send me any hate mail. I still like it, but i think it was better when i was waiting for it. I just really hope i haven't grown old of Pokemon, during the big wait.

    • I'm busy until June. T_T; So, I haven't even gone out to look for the D/P yet. As soon as I can though I will pick them up along with Super Paper Mario.

    ...you're going to have to make extra teams - that are very weak so that I can WiFi battle right away. :p

    You can set the mode to level 50 (or 100). That way all the Pokemon are moved to that level (all above will be lowered, and all under will be moved up).


    OH OH OH OH Yesterday (well 2 days ago seeing how it's past 12) I got a DSLite. Onyx color. I LOVE it. It's just so good. Well I posted about it in my LJ, all of it is in there. XD

    And I want that charging stand, that is if they can paint it black to match my Lite. XD

    • Gold makes sense because of the original NES LoZ's cartridge. Tradition. Doesn't beat that Wii mod though...which wasn't gold. XD

    I never heard about the yellow bit. Sun fade? Wouldn't black turn grey? Which, isn't as bad as yellow - but still.

    • Not advertising, but anyone here hear of the Ds-Xtreme? I getting the 2GB one when it comes out. Not only to hold my music, and videos, but for the games. Imagine the possibilities. I personally can't wait 'till it comes out. Do you guys think i should mod my DS Lite? I'm thinking of just opening it up to see what's inside, but if it stops working then i'll be sad. This is one of the times when i say that The Big N is better than The small S because Sony stops home brew with every firmware update it has. Nintendo allows it, and it makes it all the more awesome. If you like the PSP's interface then go skin yourself. That's all the news, and reviews i have for today.

    2GB is a lot, compared to the PSP, because I think the PSP can only store 1GB of memory, if I believe so. I honestly have NO IDEA of how you'll store games in that device.

    Fire Emblem... the strategies and stuff... that would fit perfectly online. I think they will make a Fire Emblem, as they made one for the GBA and the GameCube. One in development for the Wii. In fact....look here.

    The PSP can store 2GB maximum i think, the DS already had, these capabilities, but you need a 2GB SD card or something for those, and even though it's cheaper i just can't stand having to buy something separate to do stuff. Even though it'll get out dated soon who needs 4GB anyway? I think that i might have to stop talking about this with any reference to games because it's illegal to talk about using game "back-ups" that aren't yours. Not saying that's what i'm doing. I'm just going to shut up now. :embarrass

    You need to play more Advance Wars game, it's fun and addictive.

    • HEY! I might not be able to beat you on D/P. But I am at least a little better on SSB games. XD

    But yea, I really really want SSBB right now. But I fear it won't come out till the demand of the Wii starts to go down (right now it's making killer sells just with the few games it has). Because once SSBB comes out the demand will shoot back up there and you won't find Wiis anymore (I still haven't seen a Wii in a store).
