I prefer the Omanyte line over the Kabuto line. I have a thing for blue Water types. And since Omastar is a special attacker, that makes it even better, in my opinion.

Annnd Ivysaur made it. Anyways, despite my preference for Kabutops, I still usually choose Omanyte for the heck of it.

Looks like we're onto Venusaur now then! Not sure how Ivysaur got saved though </3

Venusaur is another disappointing evolution in my books so I'll have to vote him down too - once we get past the starters I promise I'll be more positive!

Venusaur is my favourite Grass starter, and one of my top ten favourites too. I love how it's got both bulk and power.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've always loved its design ever since I was a kid.

I like Venusaur simply because it's cool and it's a part of the Bulbasaur evolution line. However, I kinda wish they at least gave Mega Venusaur a cooler design. Ah, well.

(Also, sorry if I ninja anyone.)

I've got no problems with Mega Venusaur's design. But in terms of design, I prefer Mega Charizard X and Mega Blastoise. They just scream badass to me.

I really like the concept of the bulbasaur line, going from a tiny bulb to a full, beautiful flower. It's a great way to introduce people to the concept of evolution since it's placed at #1(HE WAS NUMBER 1 MR.KRABS!).

But nostalgia aside, putting the seed gimmick on a dinosaur of all things make's no sense.(and there are better pokemon I want to save :) )

I don't have a problem with Mega Venusaur's design either, but I sure would've liked it more if it also screamed badass alongside Mega Charizard and Mega Blastoise.

I understand, but there's no limit to the number of Pokémon we can save! The sooner we save Venusaur, the sooner we can save the ones that you want to save. ^^

You just reminded me that I still need to play OR/AS. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to access those new Megas, haha.

I've played Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I loved it! The reasons I picked it over Omega Ruby were Team Aqua, Sableye, and the Lotad line.

Cool! I wanna go with Alpha Sapphire as well, because Sapphire was my first Generation III game.

I'd do it if I were you. After all, Alpha Sapphire has Team Aqua, which uses the Sharpedo line.

I went for AS for the exact same reason, always loved Sapphire. The whole rainstorm thing is so epic in 3D too ♥

I've never played the original Pokemon Sapphire. I have played Pokemon Ruby, though.

I've not long finished Alpha Sapphire and I honestly enjoyed it so much, especially the Delta Episode. I can't wait to get started on Omega Ruby once I find the time!

I loved the Delta Episode too. Game Freak should do something like this more often.
