The Island of Time (OOC)

Legendary Pokémon are scattered throughout the entire Pokémon world. Each of them living for different purposes, but all of them wanting peace throughout the regions. While there have been many clashes between the legendary Pokémon, in the end they always agree to keep the peace. However, if someone was to mess with time it's self, the future of the Pokémon world would become grim and would always rest within the chosen ones hands.

After the destruction of Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galatic, the leaders of each company decided that it would be best for them all to become one unity, put aside their differences and work together to gain their most prized goal, rule the world of Pokémon. The newly formed ''Team Dimension'' quickly rose to power within the world and soon, they started to take control over certain parts of each region. As much as the trainers and heroes within the Pokémon world tried to fight back, it was no use. Team Dimension had used their newly made warp balls and had captured some of the strongest and rarest Pokémon. Against their will, the captured Pokémon were used to force off the enemy, and to take over areas, even where they had once lived.

Shortly after becoming the most feared and most wanted group in all the regions, Team Dimension decided that they would move onto phase two of their plan. The capturing of the legendary Pokémon had began. They moved under the cover of the night so that they wouldn't be found out. When they arrived at the cave where Mew and it's clone, Mew Two were hiding, the two of them had managed to avoid detection and had quickly teleported from the cave. However, the legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, were captured and taken to the secret hideout. The three of them were captured with the warp balls and became corrupted. They were used in the battle against Dialga and Palkia. Both of them were slowly tormented until they had reached their limits.

Now that they had caught their main targets, Team Dimension forced Dialga to use it's ability to control time. Fusing that power with Palkia's space control ability, an island was created out in the middle of the ocean. It was named ''The Island of Time'' by the groups leaders. On the island, they stored the captured Pokémon, even the legendaries. Over time, even wild Pokémon had moved onto the island in the middle of no where. It became the main headquarters for Team Dimension and their allies. After having a psychic vision of the future of the Pokémon world, and seeing that only ruins of the once beautiful land remained, Mew and Mew Two sent out a telepathic call for help to the most promising trainers throughout all regions. Asking them to help them in the battle against Team Dimension, and to regain control over the Pokémon world. Now it would all come down to the chosen ones. Would they accept or decline the call for help?

Since the RPG is pretty much been casted, I'll post some details about the first characters we will be meeting in the RPG.

Devon West

About Devon West: Devon West had started his Pokemon journey just like any other teenager. But when Devon had encountered the leader of Team Dimension, unlike most trainers, Devon agreed to work secretly under Team Dimension. After the Island of Time was made, Devon became the captain of the ship that would bring trainers to the Island. Of course, the ship was used to bring them over so that Team Dimension grunts could capture the trainers pokemon with their Warp Balls. The trainers would be brain washed and then taken back to the main land where they returned to their normal lives, forgetting everything about their pokemon.

Appearance: Devon has dark silver hair, with a black tint to it. He wears mostly dark clothing so anything with black, navy or purple will suit him. He has glass blue eyes and enjoys wearing his favorite leather jacket. Devon prefers to wear jeans even in the warmest weather. He has a black belt with special pokeball holders on them. Also, he has a special belt bag where the warp balls are held. He wears a silver and red baseball cap which is always facing backwards.

Due to extreme training, Devon's pokemon are much stronger than your average ones. Devon has only lost 2 battles within his entire time he has spent training Pokemon. Hardly anyone has seen his pokemon, but do not underestimate them.


Devon will be one of the first people that the trainers run into. At first, he will be the one to take them over to the Island, and at the time, the trainers will not know that he works for Team Dimension.

Name: Florana Marion

Gender: Female

Age: 16


Appearance: Her black hair runs to only just above her shoulders. Florana's hair is never put into any fancy positions; the only variance seen is sometimes curls. Most of the time, however, she keeps it straight and under control. Her skin takes a shade of dark tan. She inherited both these looks from her mother, a full blood Indian (of India). Although Florana is only half Indian, her dark skin gives the look as if she is full blood. Her brown eyes often show what mood she is in, which happens to change quite a lot. Her undersized figure stands around five feet six inches and only weighs around on hundred pounds. Her arms have little muscle to them, and her waist is quite small. Her dark legs are smooth and are small.

Growing up Florana was dressed in traditional clothing of her culture. However, she had now modernized herself, and wears mostly jeans and long-sleeved shirts. She will occasionally dress herself in skirts. She discards the idea of tennis shoes for most events, and instead wears flats. Her make up seems to be eternal, but never over done. Beside her hate for tennis shoes, she has a love for athletics. Mostly a love for soccer, some of her clothes represent her favorite teams, and also gives the appearance of a jock.

Florana mostly avoids her cultural clothes, however she does wear her mother's old accessories. She is always found wearing a double-banded, silver bracelet which has a phrase of her native language written around it. Her bracelet is not the only accessory she wears, she also wears and anklet with vivid colors and chimes.

The Indian born children were often taught to walk straight, sit up straight, and pretty much do everything straight. She never strays away from the posture of her childhood, and it is noticeable. She never slouches her shoulders and holds perfect posture almost all the time. Her face shows most of her emotions to everyone who cares to observe them. She isn't worried about what people think of her nor is she afraid to show others what she is feeling.


Personality: Florana is not afraid to speak when she thinks, nor is she afraid to ask questions. She is constantly trying to become a better trainer, even if it means making her look stupid. Florana is a think first speak second kind of person. She rarely blurts things out and never acts upon anything she hasn't planned out. She often plans out her days and strategies far before they are needed, both in and out of battle.

Florana is not embarrassed of her heritage; in fact she takes pride in her distinctive looks. This teen enjoys being different, both in looks and in arguments. She will often pick a side of an argument based on the fact that everyone picked the other side. This usual view often leads her to getting more attention in which she enjoys, but does not thrive on. She carries a pocket calendar wherever she goes. Everything in her life is organized and planned. She had trouble being spontaneous which often hinders her in both life and battle. Her bag is always in perfect order and packed efficiently.

Catherine is interested in many things, but one that often gets over looked is her love for reading. Although not quite up to book worm status, she finishes books like water and is constantly purchasing new ones. Catherine also loves the sport of soccer. Discarding her heritage sport of cricket, she finds soccer more entertaining, and it is revealed through some of her clothing articles.


History: Her parents met and married at the age of twenty. They had Florana one year into their marriage, and so Florana has quite young parents; the new family moved to Snowpoint City of Sinnoh. Even though her father is not Indian, her mother's genes seemed to dominate. Florana's father was gone on business and was raised mostly by her mother. She was brought up under traditional values, and to this day followed them for most of her childhood. While Florana grew older her interests changed. Instead of traditional, cultural dances, she began fascinated with sports. Soccer and Pokemon battling transformed from an interest into a love.

Florana hit her teens. She was no longer a child, nor did she want to be treated like one. She started to mix her heritage and the culture she was living in now to make her own style. Her education bestowed a love for reading on the teen, and when it came time she started her pokemon journey. She started her journey with a Vulpix, which quickly grew into one of her best friends. Throughout her journey she caught both an Ekans and a Snorunt.

Recently Florana has identified a rise of violence within the pokemon world. More an more reports of stolen pokemon flood the news networks and the rumors of the formation of a new criminal team litters the T.V.

9:30 the hotel clock lit itself in a red flash. "Good morning eve….." the radio alarm was put to a halt immediately. Catherine turned; she had not gotten much sleep the night before. This was a day she had been waiting for her life… or so she thought. Now that is was here it was actually quite frightening. The young teen looked over at her mother's bed. It was unmade, and no one was in it. Figuring her mother had left to get coffee, Catherine rose and turned on the shower. A few minutes later the teen stepped in. This day felt so surreal. She would be gone from her rich, protected world for a long while. Who knew if she wouldn't make it back. Being a trainer was not a joke. She had grown up around stories of young trainers tumbling to their deaths, or being injured by wild pokemon. Water droplets bounced off her body only increasing the sense of slowing down time. Steam was multiplying on the shower door every few seconds. Then for the first time in her life she realized how little she really was in a universe so sizeable. Even if she was successful what would she matter? Thirty minutes later, her hair dry, teeth white, and robe on she exited the bathroom and entered the main room.

The closet doors slowly unfastened from their stagnant positions and revealed their treasure, clothes. Ten minutes of trying different outfits on, she had fashioned the right one. A white long sleeved polo striped with three large colors. Red the first stripe, white the second, and the final stripe took the shade of navy. The shirt was pulled together by a ruffled jean with scatted, small holes along the pant legs. Inspecting herself in the mirror until she was content she continued to her bed. Sitting down, she turned on the television, Catherine heard the door click. Her mom entered with breakfast. "Here," her mom smiled handing her a breakfast sandwhich.

"I can't eat this…. not now…" Catherine remarked.

"You must. You shouldn't be that nervous," the woman mocked her daughter.

"It isn't that. I am not that nervous, I just… brushed my teeth," Catherine felt her smooth teeth. It had always been a pet-peeve of hers. She couldn't stand the feeling of "fuzzy" or unclean teeth. She never ate anything within a few hours of when she had brushed her teeth.

"Oh right. I forgot,"

"Like always, Mrs. I am never around," Kate whispered under her breathe.

"What was that?" The mom asked with a stern tone.

"Nothing, can we just go?" Kate picked up her bag slung it over one of her shoulders and headed for the door.

"Right. We are on time if we leave now," the mother followed.

The luxury car still smelt of the new car scent. It had been purchased just a few weeks ago and Catherine, like a lot of things, would miss it. It was eleven by the time the car reached the outskirts of Celadon City. They were on their way to Pallet Town, the start of many trainers before Catherine. Around three hours later the road was wet, it had rained just an hour ago. The downpour of rain had quit just in time for their arrival in Pallet Town. "Okay Kitty, here you go good luck. I love you," Catherine's mother had pulled over next to a house. She hugged her daughter the hardest she could manage while sitting in a car, and bid her a farewell. What seemed like thirty seconds to the teenager was really five minutes. The car that had been leaving stopped abruptly and reversed itself. Jumping out of the car her mother pulled Catherine's bag out of the trunk and gave it to her.

"Good start," Catherine's first mistake was a funny one to her.

"Yes, you are on a roll," the mother kept the sarcasm going with a smile. "Oh and Catherine. Poker face, love. Try not to look so scared," Another hug and kiss, and the car left. Catherine continued down the muddy road. Figuring this was probably not the best time for flats, she waddled down the path in pain.

She could see them. She could see the Lyra Program. It was a crowded group, and by the look of it she might be the last one there. Looking at the rest of the kids, she definitely stood out. She was one of the only ones dressed in such a memorable outfit. The kids definitely noticed her, maybe because she was newest one to arrive or maybe because of the outfit; Catherine did not know nor did she want to, she could feel herself blushing overwhelmingly. Her poker face had been breached. "Alright I think that is the last one. Now we can begin," the flat brown hair was easily recognizable to Catherine. Dumbfounded Catherine could hardly breathe; it was Jason Paran. He was a superstar trainer, and he was there to help her become better at battling. Looking around she couldn't believe who stood in front of her. Four legendary trainers… Jason Paran of Kanto, Sujima Nakamura of Johto, Raj Mar' of Hoen, and finally Maria Maranette of Sinnoh. All of these trainers were some of the most decorated trainers in the world; at that moment Catherine realized how serious this program was. Was she even in the right place? Yeah she was a good student, but would all that classroom work translate to success in battle? She would find out soon. But there was a major task in front of the young trainer. One she had completely forgotten about.

"Alright let's get started. I am sure you know all of us but just in case we will introduce ourselves," this time Maria spoke. "I am Maria Maranette, I am current Champion of the Sinnoh League," That was all she needed to say, Kate was awestruck.

"Eah. I am Raj. Raj Mar' of Hoen," A funny accent came out, but his words were like a warm cup of tea on a chilly afternoon. It was soothing to the soul; Catherine couldn't help but yearn for the man to keep speaking. He didn't continue.

"Jason Paran, I will soon follow in Sujima's footsteps and defeat all current leagues," Jason claimed, Maria chuckled. Jason seemed a bit full of himself to Catherine.

"Yes, as Jason hinted, I am Sujima Nakamura of Johto," he ended quickly. "Let us begin? Raj, who will be first."

"Uh huh right. Some of you have already received your first pokemon. Others of you still need to choose yours. Once we choose you please come up here, introduce yourself, and tell us what region you are from. And to begin us… as an old book said, may the last be first," his words, his sounds, they… they were just beautiful. Catherine was in somewhat of a trance. A few seconds passed by before Catherine decoded the meaning. It didn't take the other kids near as long. They were all staring at her. Blushing she stepped forward. Her small feet-in-flats felt like a hundred pounds each. Every step felt like an eternity. Finally she reached the front of the crowd. Raj continued, "Since you have lived in both Kanto and Johto, you may choose which country's pokemon you would like to choose from.

This decision had never really occurred to Catherine. Kanto is where she had spent of her older life, the years where she could remember. Johto just happened to be where her heritage was from. She looked the part too. Johto was known for their blonde, amber-eyed females. Catherine could remember her mother telling her of legends that spoke of the beauty of amber eyes, and their power over men. Of course that was just an old tale, but one incident drifted into her mind…


Flashback

The bell rang, a good start to Catherine's first day of school in middle school, she was late. Finally locating the room "C5" for her pokemon biology class, she swung the door open. The teacher looking with a smile, "Not a good start huh? It is okay I am sure you just couldn't find the classroom. What's your name?" The teacher understood.

"Catherine Florana," the embarrassed girl was shown her seat. On her way, something happened she had never quite understood, not till now. As she walked passed one of the boys said something to her.

"Way to be late "Jordan," the boy and his friends laughed. Through out her life in Kanto she would occasionally be called a Jordan, but she never made much sense of it nor did it make much of an impact.

End of Flashback.



Catherine realized that it was sectionalism. Those who called Catherine a Jordan were sectionalists. It all made sense now, a Jordan was not quite a racial profile but it was close. It was a name to brand those who came from Johto. The girl was almost embarrassed that she hadn't realized that before. Although hatred between the two countries wasn't always open, Johto and Kanto shared a rivalry and animosity for one another. "So what will it be Kanto or Johto?" Raj finally realizing that the day dreaming girl in front of him had no intention of answering him in a timely fashion.

This was pressure. Not only did she have to make a decision, Catherine had to make a decision in front of her peers and some of the best trainers in the world. Both Jason and Nakamura seemed quite interested in the teen's decision. Catherine hesitated then answered, "If Kanto would not accept me while I lived here, I then think it unhealthy to choose from their pokemon. I would like to choose from my heritage, Johto," the girl finished her words and was surprised at how logical it sounded.

"A wise decision. Now you must make another hard decision. Which pokemon?" The old man pointed to the table just behind him. Nakamura took out a suitcase and unfastened it.

"Chikorita to your left, Cyndaquil in the middle, and Totodile to your right," Nakamura announced and stepped back. Catherine nervous but confidant stepped to the table. Mindless and on instinct she reached for the middle ball. But something stopped her. Glancing over the three balls, she moved right. Her arm outstretched she grabbed the one to the right. "Totodile a fine choice if I say so myself. He is the one I started my adventure with as well," Nakamura had a large smile on his face. "Now come with me as we get you a pokedex and some other items," the mentor grabbed her arm and walked her to another table. The other mentors continued with the other trainers.

"For you who have not received your pokemon like Catherine, you will be presented with the same opportunity, three pokemon of your home region," Jason announced and chose another student.

"What color do you want?" Nakamura was whispering to Catherine gesturing to the pokedexes. She saw about every color in the rainbow plus ten.

"Uhh may I have the navy one?" Catherine received her choice, and Nakamura also added a few items. He bestowed her with five pokeballs and a potion. The mentor showed Catherine back to her peers; Catherine began to watch those in the process of choosing their pokemon. The pressure was off. Catherine's only regret was her neglect of the poker face.

Name: Alex Hayden

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Personality: Alex is not the most perfect teenager in the world but he is certainly not the worst. Growing up, he was pretty much a trouble maker from the day he was born. He had trouble listening to what people told him to do and he would always disobey almost everyone. Some people would say that he was just doing it for attention because his parents wasn't the type to give him everything he wanted. But Alex was just that way...And he would always be. Alex would always be with the older kids when he was in school. Hanging out with kids his age made him feel weak and being with older kids made him feel important. From the get go, Alex and his parents were distant, they never really spent time together as a family and that made him drift away more. Being strong was the only thing that was important to him. He would do almost anything to feel stronger than those around him.

But Alex wasn't always like this. Deep down he had a softer side to him and he was a caring person who wanted good things for his family and friends. Though he would hardly ever show this side because where he grew up most people found emotion a weakness. To feel sorry for someone was a sign of being weak and that they wasn't worthy of hanging out with the stronger ones. He has some sarcasm to his tone and will use his temper to get out of tough situation. He was pretty well known as being a ''lone wolf'' when he was younger because he spent quite a lot of time on his own, away from other kids. He's loud and can easily back up what he says. With his strong will and calm and collected mind he can easily use his strength to his advantage. When Alex encountered his first Pokémon, his life had took a sudden change. He became quite cheerful and active. Alex is more than willing to help out a person in need, however his thrill for power is still somewhat remaining. Since he changed, Alex became somewhat shy around new people. Even though he does try to hide it, he can be nervous about personality.

Appearance: His look just gives off a kind, polite and helpful aura. He tries not to stand out as much as possible, so he wears pretty average clothing...Ok just kidding. Alex LOVES to stand out in the crowd. Just because he enjoys training and gets all his work done on time, doesn't mean he has to look like a complete weirdo. He has a pretty hardcore fashion sense, and everyday he has a new look. He may be shy when it comes to his personality, but boy does Alex go all out when it comes to his looks. His hair is rarely changed from the ''rough'' look because he feels that it suits him, and wouldn't change it for anyone. He loves to wear jeans which have the dirt effect on them, and t-shirts. His favorite color to wear for his t-shirts is either green or violet. He also wears two white colored wristbands on his left wrist. He has a beaded necklace on all of the time, and he has his left ear pierced with a blue stud. He carries with him a navy colored backpack for which he carries all his items. Around his waist he has a cream colored belt with special pokeball holders on.

He has lightly toned brown hair which is medium length. He hates getting it cut, as it takes a long time to grow back to the length that he likes. He has emerald colored eyes which he admires since emerald eyes are pretty rare. He stands at 5'8 and believes that his height is perfect for the sort of person he is. He weighs 163 lbs and he thinks that it's a steady balanced weight for his height. He takes great care of his body and works out as often as he can.

History: Not much is known about Alex's past, except that his parents were both members of Team Aqua. Alex was born in the city of Goldenrod. He was raised quickly, and missed out on most of his childhood due to his parents being loyal to Team Aqua and that they were moving around everywhere. However, Alex would always think of Goldenrod city as his home. At night, the city would always be bright with the lights from all the buildings. It was one of the busiest cities within the Johto region. The trainers school for tough from day one because of Alex's angry personality. None the kids really wanted to bond with him and this left him alone for most of the time.

When he graduated from the first class, he moved up into the advanced battle classes because of how well he was able to battle with Pokémon. It was one of the reasons why people started to talk to him. They would come to him for advice and how to improve their techniques. Outside of the trainers school, Alex hated Pokémon, but due to his parents forcing him to attend the school, he had to pretend to like them. He had other plans for his future that didn't include Pokémon. But when Alex encountered a wild Caterpie being ganged up on by a pack of Houndour, Alex's life changed. He saved the Caterpie, and managed to scare away the pack of Houndour.

After finally graduating from the trainers school at the age of 12, Alex found out that his parents were part of a criminal company that were after one of the legendary Pokémon. At first, Alex didn't pay any attention to what they were telling him, but after he found out what Team Aqua were planning, he couldn't stand by anymore. He ran away from home and decided to start his Pokémon adventure without telling them. Even though they were his parents, Alex made a promise that he would stop Team Aqua, but his plans were cut short when Team Aqua were destroyed and most of the members arrested. Within the next three years, Alex had traveled the entire region of Johto and the region of Kanto. Now finding himself in the region of Sinnoh, word had reached him about the newly formed Team Dimension. He knew his parents would both be apart of it. But he swore to stop them, even if he stood alone.

It wasn't the sound of the alarm clock that had woken Tommy, but the sound of injured Pokémon and complaining trainers. Tommy Kingston, the person that had set himself a goal from the start had finally put aside his nerves and had left his home region of Sinnoh. Waking up in a Pokémon center was not Tommy's idea of a nice lay in, but today was one of the most important, if not the most important day of his life. Today was the day that Tommy Kingston would start his Pokémon journey. Making him one step closer to reaching his goal of becoming a gym leader. He was never one to take peoples hospitality, and not pay to stay at an accommodation for free. But since he barely had enough money on him to pay for a hotel room, he had taken up the kind Nurse Joy's offer, and stayed at the Pokémon center for the night. It had been a long journey for Tommy. Coming from the Sinnoh region on a cruise liner was something he would have liked to avoided. But since he had no other option, Tommy stuck through his travel sickness and made it to the Kanto region.

After finally getting out of bed, Tommy had taken a quick shower. Swiftly putting on a new set of fresh clothes that consisted of a pair of navy jeans, a black t-shirt and a silver colored hooded jacket over the top. Clipping his belt bag into place, and then throwing his one strap silver bag over his shoulder and clipping it into place, Tommy was finally ready to make his way out into the region of Kanto to start his journey. He exited the room he had stayed in for the night and walked out into the reception of the Pokémon center. Poor nurse Joy was as busy as ever. And as much as Tommy wanted to help, he knew he had no time to stop. Just as Tommy was about to leave the center, a trainer dashed over and stood in his way. ''I'm guessing you're a newbie, right?'' The male trainer asked. ''I wouldn't call myself a newbie. I'm on my way to get my first Pokémon now, and then will start my journey to become a gym leader.'' Tommy smirked. The guy laughed in Tommy's face. ''You? A trainer? Don't make me laugh kid.'' He pushed Tommy aside and walked up to Nurse Joy. ''Jerk!'' Tommy mumbled silently. After giving off a small wave to Nurse Joy, Tommy walked out onto the path that would lead him straight to the small town of Pallet.

Watching as all the Pokémon went by as Tommy walked through the forest towards Pallet Town was something that he would remember on his journey. They seemed so happy and free. Tommy smiled as he walked passed a bunch of Metapod and Kakuna hanging down from the trees, waiting to break free from their shells and become Butterfree's and Beedrill's. He wasn't a big fan of bug Pokémon, but he knew that each Pokémon was unique for it's own reason. After a few minutes of walking, Tommy barely missed walking into another person. Moments of silence between the two was finally broken when Tommy spoke. ''Uh..Hi'' he smiled. The girl was still in shock, but was eased up a little by Tommy's voice. ''Hey there!'' she replied with a happy face.

''I'm sorry about that, I don't watch where I'm going most times.'' he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, waiting for her to speak back.

''I guess me and you are somewhat alike then.'' she let out a small giggle.

''So where were you heading?'' She quickly questioned him.

''I'm heading to Pallet Town to get my first Pokémon. How about you?'' He asked.

''Wow, really? I was just in the forest here picking some berries for my mom.'' She lifted up the small basket that was full of different colored berries. ''I can walk with you to Pallet Town if you like?'' She suggested.

''That would be great! Thank you so much.'' He started to follow her through the forest. In the distance, the sun shining through the trees was almost breath taking. ''So, are you from Kanto?'' The silence was broken by her this time. He shook his head. ''Nope, I came from the Sinnoh region. I'm joining a special program that helps new trainers like me to get a head start in their journeys. It will be pretty helpful...I hope.'' He joked. He was quite nervous when the two of them started to talk more. But having some company was never a bad thing. Especially when you didn't know where you were going.

''Well, here we are'' she spoke and then pointed through the branches of the trees at the small town out infront of them down the hill. ''Beautiful!'' was the only word that came to Tommy's mind when his eyes popped open at the sight of Pallet Town. When the two of them reached the bottom of the steep hill, they both stopped and turned to one another. ''This is where we go our separate ways'' was something that Tommy was regretting. ''If you follow this path, you will reach where the program is being held.'' she pointed out the way. Tommy nodded and smiled gratefully. ''Thanks for everything!'' was the final words before they each turned away from each other and started walking down different paths.

Reaching the group of new trainers, Tommy got in between them. He had made it just in time to hear the first person to speak. The star trainers had taken turns to introduce themselves to the group. When Maria spoke, Tommy's heart started to pound firmly against this chest. ''Ma-Maria is here?!'' the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. ''Calm down Tommy, calm down!'' he took a deep breathe. Maria was someone that Tommy looked up too. Every kid in the Sinnoh region knew about her. She was by far on of the greatest trainers to ever appear from the Sinnoh region, and being the champion, Tommy used to aspire to be just like her. But of course, his dreams had changed while he was growing up. Now he had his mind set of becoming a top gym leader.

It wasn't soon after Tommy arrived that they started to let the trainers pick their first Pokémon. A girl had stepped up and claimed her Pokémon, a Totodile. After she had walked off the steps, a boy then was called upon to claim his Pokémon. Tommy was slowly becoming impatient, and wanted his turn. When the boy had left the table, Maria called out Tommy's name. He took a quick glance around to see if anyone else was there with the same name, but it was just him. Going in and out of the trainers, Tommy finally made it to the table. He stepped up and flashed a quick inspired smile to Maria.

''Since you are from the Sinnoh region, you get to pick from the three starters from that region. on the left is Turtwig, the grass type Pokémon. In the middle is Chimchar, the fire type. And finally on the right is Piplup, the water type Pokémon.'' Maria introduced the three Pokémon inside the pokeballs to Tommy. After he had taken a few minutes to pick one, he placed his hand over the pokeball on the right and then picked it up with a firm hand. ''A Piplup eh? A fine choice indeed.'' She smiled and then placed her hand on his shoulder and almost drove him over to the other table where the pokedexes were sitting. ''Well then, which one would you like?'' Maria wondered. Tommy had already picked his pokedex, so it was an easy choice. ''The silver and light blue one please!'' he pointed on the table.

Being handed his silver and light blue pokedex, along with five pokeballs and a potion, Tommy slipped them into different belt bags and then zipped them shut. Placing the pokeball with his new companion, Piplup onto the special pokeball holder on his bag strap that came down around his chest. ''Perfect!'' he cheered. Now with the motion in place, Tommy's grand adventure was about to start, and the promise he had made back in the Sinnoh region would start being fulfilled.

**Flashback**

With a full heart of determination, Tommy walked passed the Oreburgh gym with a sure heart that he would one day have a gym for himself. Just as he was about to leave the city to make his way to Kanto, Roark stepped out infront of him. ''Good luck on your journey, Tommy. Promise me that whatever happens, you'll do your best to stay true to your dream of becoming a gym leader ok?'' Roark nodded. Tommy and Roark had become quite good friends. Whenever there was a gym battle, Tommy would be there on the side lines cheering his friend on. ''I promise I won't return until I am more than ready to become a gym leader!'' Tommy replied. Before setting off into the sunset, the promise was sealed with a handshake.

Tommy stared up into the clear sky above. He was sure that the promise that he had make to Roark would one day be fulfilled.

Name: Drae Ghottah
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Personality: Drae is a very animated and intellectual teenager. Often seen listening to his iPod Touch with his diverse amounts and genre's of music, this kid has an unbelievable amount of energy and is full of spirit. He is not shy at all, not being scared of speaking or asking anything what-so-ever. He does seem to have a calm side about him, but it only comes out when a soft, soothing song is shuffled into his iPod at the moment. At these times, you may often see Drae speaking to himself, but that is just him thinking aloud, which is triggered by the music he listens to. Out going to do anything and everything, from dancing to playing games. He loves absolutely every sport, from basketball to soccer to golf, and he is very skilled at everything.

Drae thinks in a different way that most otheir people do. When approaching Pokémon battles, Drae is very tactical and techincal, usng many different strategies within each and every battle, and enjoys a good challenge, because without one, Pokémon battles wouldn't give him the adrenaline rush that he fiends. But approaching anything else, trouble always seems to find him. His ability to squeeze through seemingly tight situations is the reason why Drae attempts things he shouldn't do, knowing he could find a way to escape the consequences.

He also has a horrible sweet toothe. Without sweets he goes crazy.

Appearance: Drae is above average height for his age, being roughly around 6 feet and weighing 165 lbs, and his skin color being of a light tan. He has dark gray-ish colored hair about shoulder length, which half the time is seen loose and the other half tied in a small ponytail. Charming green eyes compliment his trustfull smile. His body type is athletic, due to the fact that sometimes when Drae is training with his Pokemon, he goes along and trains with them.

He wears a regular black shirt on a daily basis. Over this black shirt is a jock-like (you know, like the sweaters football players usually wear in highschool in movies?) sweater which is red with long black sleeves. In this sweater he carries everything he needs, like PokéBalls, his Pokédex, a Pokétch on his wrist, and his frequently used iPod Touch. For bottoms, Drae likes to switch it up and sometimes wears a studded belt with Skinny jeans or just some reguarly baggy jeans. Reason for the different jeans? None in particular, he just wears whatever he feels like it that spedific day. For accessories, Drae wears a necklace with a shark tooth on it. As for shoes, he wears his Nike SB Vemon's, which are white and black.

History: Born in Goldenrod City in the region of Jhoto, Drae was much used to the city life as he was a child growing up. Living in a huge household on many brothers and sisters, Drae was always the one with the nack of being alone and independent with everything. Once he hit the age of 12, on his birthday he recieved a huge Pokémon Egg from his parents. He was told by his father that all these years he was observing Drae growing up, he noticed that Drae would be the only one that would excell with Pokémon on a lone journey since he was so independant. Later on the egg hatched into an oversized Tailow, about twice the size of a normal one. Drae asked his father why it was so big, he responded that Tailow was the product of 2 different bird species, one of the same kind, a Tailow and one of a different species. He also expained that Tailow had adapted a special move from the breeding itself.

Later on, training in a forest, Drae learned that the move Taillow, now Swellow - Taillow's last evolution form - had inherited was "Brave Bird", one of the most elite flying-type attack moves out there. Knowing this move now Swellow had gotten an advantage in Pokémon battles. After training around and catching more Pokémon like Spoink - now Grumpig - and hatching a Growlithe from a Poké Egg, Drae decided to go on his own journey to the region of Sinnoh at the age of 15, just to travel and maybe collect some gym badges. Collecting these gym badges seemed to be so easy to Drae for some reason he though it was boring, although he has collected 5 out of the 8 Gym Badges so far. He has had a couple encounters of Team Dimension while on his journey through the Sinnoh Region, but he couldn't care less for them, his opinion of them was that they were a group of looney goons who had no lives and a horrible dream of this Poké-world.

"What am I, an idiot?!" said Auto, slapping his forehead so hard that even an echo flowed through the forest and few leaf's fell off some branches, also leaving a stinging red mark on his face that was going to take a while to relieve.

I didn't think of it before, what an idiot.

Auto raised his arm and put his Poketch about 6 inches from his nose, muttering to himself, "How do you work this thing" and pressing every button until the right thing came up - a map. A red dot on the map was next to Pewter city, pointing left.

"So I must go left?" Auto asked himself.

He lowered his hand and motioned for Bulbasaur carry the egg and come along, with Squirtle behind him. They all began to walk, and again Auto began looking around as the solemn, emerald trees. All Squirtle did was stare admirably at the Pokemon egg that Bulbasaur was holding, while Bulbasaur was enjoying the quaint feel of this graceful forest filled with Pokemon like itself. It must've felt like home for Bulbasaur.

After a long while of walking, Auto and his Pokemon seemed too tired. The pace they were walking was too slow, and Auto thought they weren't going to make it to Pewter city in time for a Gym match to meet with the others. Due to Auto's persistence, he kept on motioning his Pokemon to come along, Bulbasaur being the main one because he was now struggling to hold up the egg which something moved around at times but Auto just ignored it, knowing it'll hatch soon and when it does he'll pay complete attention to it.​

Along and far they walked together, Auto spotted something up ahead. It shined bright with a soothing color, a somewhat pink aura had now taken over the trees and bushed surround the trio of different beings. Auto peered ahead, squinting his eyes to catch a better view, and there it was, a tree of radiant shine, of beauty's face, of God's will.

A sign of hope, there it lay.

Auto looked amazed as he and his Pokemon ran towards this tree, a tree of faith. Auto reached his semi-destination, something to guide him. He looked at his Pokemon, Squirtle ignored this tree, and just kept on staring at his egg, which seemed to be making a lot more movement, with the occasional growl every half hour. This forest seemed never-ending, Auto thought many times, but now reminisced on a great memory of his father, very vague;

There is a tree, a tree of faith,
Hidden within a forest of simply
Never-ending length.
You will find this at a time you are
Completely unexpecting anything positive,
This will guide you to your goal-

Remember of this, my son, remember,

Auto suddenly remembered, but there was this burning fire in him which refused to remember anything about his parents, especially anything good. Auto was only used to the bad in his life, but he thought this was a turning point in his life.​

"The wonderful, Sakura tree." he whispered to his Pokemon, a slight smirk forming on his face looking at his two Pokemon.​

Crack-​

The egg now had a crack about 4 inches long on the top, and it was cracking more and more, until a hole had now formed on it.​

"Lay it softly on the ground, Bulbasaur!" The Pokemon carefully lay it on a pile of golden leaves on the ground, which made the egg lean on the enormous root of the Sakura tree. With a sudden move of the Pokemon inside of it, the egg shattered into many pieces, revealing an orange color with black stripes and a cream-colored fur. Squirtle jumped and took a few steps back as he saw what was in the egg.​

"A Growlithe..."​

The puppy-like Pokemon opened it's eyes and tried to stand on it's four feet, it's weak legs struggling to pick itself up. Bulbasaur opened it's eyes wide and Squirtle growled softly, showing it's caring nature to his new friend. Auto slowly walked to Growlithe's side and placed both hands underneath the Pokemon, picked him up and caressed the Pokemon in his own arms. For the first time in his life, he felt emotional, seeing the birth of a Pokemon, the start of it's life. He then softly sang a part of a poem he wrote once before.​

"For your eyes shine​

like the luminescent moon,

as your heart kindles with the

flames of the sun.
Your breath softly float
like soft sweet cherry,
as your hair bellows in
the kind zephyr wind."​

Suddenly, a breeze passed by Auto and his Pokemon, it was almost as if the soul of the forest had spoken to him, or congratulated him. Growlithe closed it's eyes and rest among Auto's arms, it's head on Auto's right shoulder. With a kick of his foot motioning his Pokemon to follow, Auto resumed his quest and walked towards Pewter City, one step at a time.​

Name: Iridian Heisenberg

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: Iridian is absolutely abnormal. He is constantly muttering to himself about this detail or that, and his clothes and hair are almost always messy even though he attempts to present himself well. Iridian is sometimes, on first sight, declared by others as selfish and distant, but this is not the case.

Iridian thinks too much and too little. He thinks too much about esoteric pieces of knowledge, but he thinks too little about daily life. As a result, his father has admonished him about the state of his looks countless times. Iridian is actually, a bit deeper down, very pleasant, albeit a bit lacking in social skills. He is not particularly charismatic, particular about the way he does everything, and generally nice to everyone around him.

In battle, Iridian is a quite different person - not fundamentally, of course - he treats his Pokemon very well, both outside and inside of battle. Iridian's mind, however, is only fully in the present world when he does what he does best. In battle, Iridian utilizes countless forms of creative strategy, relying on the vast reservoirs of knowledge that he has stored through years of learning at the Pokemon School in Rustboro to run through six strategies a minute mentally. Iridian has a very serious demeanor when in this situation, in contrast to his almost nonresponsive self outside of it.

Appearance: Iridian has a shock of brownish-yellow hair, which is constantly messy due to negligible care. He wears half-rimmed, square glasses tinted with a shade of light blue. His face consists of an averagely-sized nose, brilliant eyes the colour of emerald, and a perpetual smile that hangs on his lips. Iridian usually wears a fairly formal, collared white shirt with a black bowtie. The white shirt might be backwards, forwards, sideways, or any combination of those; the same applies to the bowtie. Most of the time, though, Iridian notices right after he makes the mistake, and corrects it accordingly.

However, Iridian is less choosy about other aspects of his wardrobe; he might decide to wear jeans, cargo pants, or formal pants, but it is usually the closest pair that he can grab. His shoe shelf is similarly arranged, containing loafers, patent leather court shoes, sneakers, and other pairs in disarray. His pocket always carries a Pokedex (as any good trainer should) and also a PokeNav (provided by his father) Unfortunately, as a pet peeve, Iridian always manages to wear odd socks, and never, EVER gets a matching pair of his socks together.

History: Iridian is the son of a wealthy high-ranked employee working for Devon Corporation. His mother died in childbirth, and so he grew up with his father. Wilson Heisenberg knew that education was important, for it was his education that got him to his position in the first place, and so he started to homeschool Iridian in the basics of Pokemon, such as Pokemonology, the Grand Origin Theory, etc. Then, after Iridian reached age 10, the age for eligibility to become a Pokemon Trainer, he sent Iridian off to the Pokemon Trainers' School, near their home in Rustboro city.

As a child, Iridian was extremely focused on intellectual pursuits. He was not able to run very fast, lift heavy weights, or otherwise accomplish feats of amazement physically, possessing an average physique. Therefore, in school, he was sometimes bullied and ridiculed by the athletes of the school, who were more physically fit. His psychological withdrawal developed during this period, and he almost considered to continue to homeschool himself instead, but his father would not allow it.

Life went on.

During his second year at the school, something clicked. Perhaps it was because of some supernatural event, and perhaps not. In any case, his learning speed quickly accelerated to an amazing rate - about 75 pages of text a minute, namely. His peers started respecting him, and asked him for help. Sadly, he ignored them anyway; he was much more absorbed in his own intellectual pursuits than their petty problems.

His mental capacity quickly expanded, and soon, at age 13, he knew the school material BETTER than the teacher did. He brought his father's under-trained Corphish forth to battle Roxanne, and defeated Roxanne's Rock Pokemon spectacularly with the move Bubble (a move commonly considered WEAK). Roxanne's Pokemon, being Rock types, were very vulnerable to Water-type moves.

Wilson, amazed at his son's abilities, sent Iridian off into the world. He had seen what Iridian was capable of, and thought it would be a broadening experience for Iridian to meet new people and earn badges. Iridian was only equipped with a lone Absol, but he set off nonetheless - into the wild. Since then, Iridian has traversed the whole of Hoenn, and has begun exploring in Sinnoh. After all, where better to explore for new Pokemon to catch and new adventures to experience?

(Something to note: He got Kadabra in the Granite Cave, on the Dewford Town island. Wooper was caught somewhere between Mauville City and Fortree City, or thereabouts. So that it makes some sense.)

My Character :D

Name: Ford McDaid
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Personality: Ford is a corageous young guy. He is determined to be one of the best there is and as a result likes to stand out a little. Since he was a little boy he always wanted to train pokemon to be worthy battlers and test his own skills as a trainer. He loves watching the annual Pokemon League Tournament on TV and keeps personal notes of techniques and battle strategies.

Ford is also a fun guy. He isn't stubborn and likes to have company. Even when battling he occasionally shows parts of his own character.

Appearance: Ford wears a Red almost Hawaii-style shirt with the top 2 buttons usually undone. Above this he wears a sly, Brown overcoat that he usually leaves unzipped. His hat almost always covers his dreadlock-like fiery blond hair. His eyes are a striking hazel and he wears a small medallion around his neck.

Ford also wears dark brown cargo pants and red baseball shoes. His bagpack holds everything he needs, other than his pokeballs, which go in a pouch on his belt.

History: Ford originally came from Dewford island in Hoenn. This is where he developed a brief interest in surfing - thus aquiring his present look. Ford's family had a Magnemite which he loved to play with. At a young age he would even show signs of battling with it, even though he was legally not allowed to officially train it. The Magnemite would eventually evolve into Magneton and, when Ford reached 10, he was allowed to keep it. For his 16th birthday, Ford wanted 2 things: 1- To start his own pokemon adventure, and 2- A Magnezone.

Hence, the family decided to let him do both and moved to Sinnoh. There, Ford was able to travel to Mt. Coronet and evolve Magneton. When he did this, he went back to Sandgem (where the family moved to) and applied for a pokemon from Prof. Rowan. Eventually, Ford recieved his Chimchar and began his adventure. He went on to dominate 7 of the 8 gyms in the region and evolve his Chimchar into an Infernape, aswell as catch a Psyduck. Word of his unbelievable success spread far and wide. Before he got contacted by Mewtwo... telling him to... come... Island of Time... help. Being old enough, Ford made his own way there by Ferry.

Btw, I apologize for Cornelia's swearing. I hope it's not a bother, but it's just something that is tied to her character.

Name: Cornelia Bree Cooper
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Cornelia likes the spectacular and the sparkley. She was originally a Coordinator, she knows how to make her moves look gorgeous. This particular feature shows in most of what she does, from the way she walks to the way she releases a Pokémon from their balls. Everything is a show to her. This means she, herself, is a show too. She spends a lot of attention looking as pretty as her Pokémon would.

She's also a bit obsessive. When something is on her mind, it is sure to stay that way for a long, long time. In fact, unless she'll find something better to obsess about, she'll only stop when it's been done. One of those things were contests, and when she had won enough ribbons to consider the job done, she went to the League Challenge.
Also, she doesn't let things go. Be it good things, or bad things. If she doesn't like you, she doesn't like you. This is a bad pairing with the fact she judges quickly. So if she sees you as a scrawny little nerd that is as weak as a reed, this image will stay the same unless she sees you arm-wrestle with a Charizard, so to speak.
Grudges is another specialty of this lady. You insult her, she'll hold it against you for quite the while. In fact, if you've really hit it, she'll shoot you down at every opportunity. Yes, she has no problem with fierce come-backs, be it under her breath or in your face.

Corny's temper is another thing. She gets mad easily, and she shouts. A lot. A verbal fight is easily encouraged, and she won't hold back. She might throw some serious insults at you, or simply walk away when she can't win. Also, she doesn't like admitting she's wrong. So, if she said something awful to you, rather than completely regret it, she'll try to tell herself that it was partly deserved. She's one of those people that, even if it is in a situation where it's useless, she'll yell and shout threats and insults to you.
Her big mouth is definitely one of her worst features. One of the few things that calms her is grooming her Pokémon, or simply petting them. She talks to them, if they can understand her or not. Especially when she's upset, or mad. She talks to herself, too, mostly under her breath. Overall she's quite a person to deal with, and you really need to know exactly how to deal with her.

Appearance: Cornelia is one of those people that would get called a drama queen by the unpopular groups at school. She has copper blonde hair that falls neatly, and completely straight, to just a little over her shoulders. Her bangs are cut to gradually fall to the side. Her hair looks like it could be part of a shampoo commercial. She is very reluctant to put it in a ponytail, because it is said to damage the hair, so when she needs it out of the way, she partly pins it back with a hair-friendly hairclip.
Her eyes are light blue in color, they're nothing special. This is mainly due to the fact there isn't much Cornelia can do to make them prettier. So instead, she takes better care of her hair and let it take the attention off of the eyes. Her skin is a slight bit tanned from travelling, and looks healthy. It's not something she does a terrible lot about, for travelling with body lotion all the time is too much of a nuisance. Instead she tries to avoid the worst climates for skin. But sometimes it is simply inevitable.

Her built is very skinny, and slim. This also means she has a rather small chest and is not very tall in general. She's 1.55m long, which she tries to enhance with heels when she can. But of course, it isn't possible to go on a long journey with high heels, so most of the time she's just short.

She prefers her clothing to be of light or pastel colors. She's just girly that way. She travels with a few different tank tops. One is soft green, one is soft orange and the other is lilac. For colder regions she owns a brown trench coat-like jacket with fake fur on the inside for warmth. Also, for a happy medium, she owns a teal shirt with a wide, round collar, the sleeves reaching her elbows. She almost always wears white, dress-like pants. She also owns a white skirt made out of light fabric with lilac flowers embroidered on it. This she usually wears with her teal shirt for contests, it's more formal. This is all stored into a yellow should-strapped bag with loads of pockets for little things. She only has one pair of shoes, which are yellow All-Stars with black roses.
Her Pokémon are stored on the strap of the bag for easy access.


History: Corny's mother was a coordinator and taught her all there was of the subject. She grew up with rules involving looks and behavior. Her mother insisted that she be graceful at every moment. Never would she wear her pajamas outside of her bed. Her hair was always in a pretty hairstyle and she always wore girly and pretty clothing.
Cornelia loved it, from when she was a child she would be proud of her frilly dresses. Too bad her hair was Copper, for pink would clash horribly with it.

She grew up in Lillycove City, where her mother participated in the Master Contests. Her mother taught her the business, beginning with the most affective moves and ending with how to make them beautiful but deadly. She received her first Pokémon when she was seven, a Meowth received from her father. He was rarely home, and one day he brought home the Pokémon as a gift for her.
She loved the little demon, for the Meowth was quite mischievous when he was little. Always playing with it and brushing it.

When she was 14, she finally convinced her mother to let her travel with Mau, for so she called her Meowth. She tried in Hoenn first, but she soon found she was known as Allegra Connor's daughter, and that she couldn't quite own up to that title. Plus, it was embarrassing to be pointed at and whispered about. She tried it, she even travelled for a year, training her Meowth so it would learn new, and more beautiful, moves.
During her journey through Hoenn she captured a Spheal, which she called Nico. The main reason she wanted a Spheal as that her evolutions would be amazing for contests with their icy goodness.
She didn't have much time to train him, though, because soon after she decided to give up on coordinating in Hoenn, it was too demanding. Even though she was a good Coordinator, she was not as good as her mother, which was what everyone seemed to expect.
So a year after she started, she came to her mother to say goodbye and travel to Sinnoh instead. As a parting gift, her mother gave her an Eevee. She said it had previously hatched and she couldn't take care of it. She, herself, owned a Flareon and she wanted her daughter to have one too, so she gave her a Firestone too.

Cornelia wanted to train Eevee first, before she evolved her, and so she trained hard Sinnoh. Her Aunt was expecting her in Hearthome but she decided to take the long cut. While she was training in a certain forest, Eevee suddenly evolved. Leafeon was born.
With Leafeon and Persian by her side, she conquered many a contest. So many that she got a bit tired of them. They were no more challenge for her. So she decided to turn everything around, and go through the gym challenges too. She defeated most of them with the grace of a coordinator. Her Pokémon got technically stronger, too.

So didn't pay much heed to the ongoing Teams war. Team Magma and Aqua had always been a little of a joke back home, and she rarely saw much of Galactic. But with such taste in clothing, they couldn't mean anything.
Of course, the forming of the new team was a bit more alarming, but still did not really concern her. The only thing concerning Cornelia was her goal. Which was always to win and be better.

Personality: Randy is usually quiet and reserved when meeting new people. He isn't a timid guy at all, he just likes to fall back and observe things before he shows his true colors. Aside from being calm and quiet, Randy is also very adventurous. He likes to travel with his pokemon and see new places. His hobbies include training, battling, and drawing sketches of pokemon in his spare time. His dream is to become a first class pokemon trainer and artist, and trains every day in both fields to hone his own skills and the skills of his pokemon.

Appearance: Randy stands at about 5'9', with white hair and smokey gray eyes. He wears a light gray colored vest and shorts, with a dark steel-colored t-shirt and shoes. Apart from basic articles of clothing, Randy also has a small backpack filled with food and supplies, including his blue sketchbook, which he carries around everywhere. Another noticeable feature of his appearance is that Randy only uses white premier balls as his pokeballs, not regular pokeballs. He keeps all of his pokeballs attached at his waist.

History: Randy originally hails from Canalave City. From early on in childhood, Randy expressed interest in pokemon art and battling. His father was a pokemon breeder and his mother was a very well known artist. His father owned a pokemon ranch, while his mother drew and painted pictures of pokemon for a living. On his 15th birthday, Randy started his own pokemon journey. As a gift, Randy's father gave him a pokemon egg so he could hatch his first pokemon. Randy was eager to start his journey, and excited when his first pokemon, Riolu, hatched from the egg. He continued on with Riolu as his starter pokemon and the two are extremely close, with Riolu having evolved into Lucario during his gym battle against Maylene and her own Lucario in Veilstone City. Since then, Randy has traveled around Sinnoh with his pokemon, training, battling, and having as much fun as possible while on his journey.

Personality: shy, timid, keeps to himself and likes to listen to pop music. Surprisingly stoic and doesn't reveal his feelings easily as well as having a hard time telling others feelings (even when it's oh so blatantly obvious). Underneath this though is a loving, caring person who's deeply troubled by other's opinions. This is all hidden under a layer of depression though. When he thinks he's alone, he sings to make himself feel better. He's really good at singing but gets overly embarrassed when someone overhears him. He seems really easy-going... unless he doesn't have his music. Then he gets spaztastic and freaks out before going into withdrawal. If he snaps though, watch out. He will lash out at the first things he sees and won't stop til he can't move anymore.

Appearance: Angel has dark blue spikey hair and crystal-like blue eyes that seem to glow slightly in darkness giving them an eerily beautiful vibe (Think Sora Hashiba from 'Sukisho", but younger looking) . He stands at 5' 10" and weighs around 160 lbs. His frame is tall and skinny but normal for his age. He wears a pair of noise canceling headphones around his neck. Covering his torso is a white T shirt with two uneven blue stripes running down the front off to the right (to him) side a little. His legs are covered with jeans that hug his thighs but open up at the bottom for a bell-bottom like look with fading running down the front and back. On his wrist is a fuzzy black wristband/sweatband and he wears black sneakers with stylized red stitching and silver lining. On his shoulder is strapped a black messenger bag with blue inserts.

History: Angel was born and raised in Viridian City. As a young child, he was a bright student, often getting A's and B's, but where he excelled was Music and Chorus. As he got older, his love of music and singing grew, often putting him at odds with his dad who want edhim to follow in the family tradition of becoming a pokemon trainer. As his love for music and singing grew, so also did his abilitys. It became apparent by age 12 that he was more talented than most famous singers.

His dad is an ex-pokemon trainer turned reseacher with professor Oak. Being that his dad is dealing with science, his dad tends to think things through logically and scientifically. He has a lower chance of becoming a pop idol than becoming a gym leader. Things would be easier for him had his mom been there to support him despite his dad, but Angel's mom passed away when he was born, leading to his father being a bit overprotective.

Angel was forced to take a pokemon journey by his dad and Professor Oak. Given a pokemon and shoved off at age 15, he developed a hatred of his dad. In fact, once, while "coincidentally" meeting his dad while on his journey in Goldenrod City, Angel snapped and lashed out at his dad. His old man spent 3 weeks in the Goldenrod City Hospital and 2 months in recovery. This is one of the few violent streaks Angel has ever had. Angel then had a psychiatric evaluation to see whether he was actually sane. He passed but was labeled "currently unstable". Some have wondered whether he has a dual personality as he seems conflicted quite often with himself.


No matter how much he denies it, Angel makes a great pokemon trainer. Years of onhand experience with his dad has led to a unique battle style. Rather than shouting out attacks, he trains his pokemon to respond to changes in the pitch of his voice while he sings during a battle. The change in pitch tells them what to do. This gives him the constant element of surprise as no one he's met has been able to figure out what he's thinking or what he ordered his pokemon to do. However, sometimes it backfires when the pokemon mistakes one tone for another. He's apparently also trained them to know when he's singing for fun and when he's singing to command. This unique battle style combined with the range of tones and notes his voice can hit makes for a very tough battle.

It had been a few days since Angel flipped out on his dad and Professor Oak over his birthday gifts and future. He couldn't stand adults, specifically scientists. "Thinking so logically and factually all the time takes the fun out of everything." he thought as he brushed his teeth. It wasn't a thought that came out of nowhere, but from experience. Angel's dad had been researching pokemon with Professor Oak since he was born and it showed. Angel had had enough of scientists for one lifetime. And today was the day of the Lyra Program. It was the perfect time to escape the scientists that pretty much ruled his life.

"ANGEL! Come on! we need to go! We're late as it is!" Angel's dad called from downstairs.

"We're late already. Another 5 minutes won't kill us." He thought as he spit out the toothpaste. He sighed as he remembered what happened a few days ago.

-Flashback-

Angel unleashed all his rage into the songs at the karaoke club after flipping out on the 2 scientists that basically ran his life for him. He was breathing heavily after 12 songs he put all his feeling into. Unknown to him, Professor Oak and his dad were at the back of the karaoke bar, in the shadows, watching him.

"He's very talented." complimented Oak.

"But it takes more than talent to make it. Plus the chances of him actually making it as a pop star are ridiculously absurd."

"But he's got a better chance than most of the no talent hacks out there..." They continued as they went on while watching him. After the thirteenth song, Angel started swaying side to side, looking like he was going to be sick, and then passed out on the stage. He collapsed on stage s people gasped and wondered what to do. One person was already on the phone with 911 a few seconds later.

Angel was released from the hospital the next day. The doctors had said the collapse was a combination of things. Namely depression, repressed anger, and exhaustion. They had said he should be fine in the morning, so the two professor brought him home.

-End flashback-

Angel walked into his bedroom and slung his black and blue messenger bag over his shoulder. He put his headphones on as he reached into the bag and pulled out his pokeball containing his Bulbasaur.

He smiled as he sang to the pokemon after thinking on their current situation. Angel and his Bulbasaur had bonded over the last few days and as it turned out, they both loved music. "BONUS!" Thought Angel as the song started up.

"Paper bags and plastic hearts
All are belongings in shopping carts
Its goodbye
But we got one more night
Lets get drunk and drive around
And make peace with this empty town
We can make it right

Throw it away
Forget yesterday
We'll make the great escape
We won't hear a word they say

Cause we are finally free tonight" He sang as "The Great Escape" by Boys Like Girls continued on. Angel smiled as the pokeball rocked side to side with the music.

Angel walked into the back yard as his dad had somethng special for the occaision. In the backyard was something that had been there for years, but Angel was never curious enough to investigate it.

Angel's dad walked over to a large car shaped tarp and began rolling the tarp off. "Your mom wanted one of these while she was a;ive so i got one to preseve her memory" His dad said as the tarp revealed a mid-90's muscle car. A white 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 to be exact.

"'95 Monte Carlo Z34. White on white with 16 inch lightweight aluminum racing rims on Goodyear Eagle Z rated tires. 3.4L Dual OverHead Cam V6 known as the Twin Dual Cam V6. 210 horsepower, 215 ft-lbs of torque... and to top it all off... front wheel drive." Angel's father ranted.

"Mom must've been quite the firecracker" Angel said as he looked over the beastly muscle car.

"You have no idea" Angel's dad said seemingly lost in a happy memory.

"It's nice and all, but what does a muscle car have to do with me leaving?"

"You thought I'd drop you off in a dinky little econobox? Nah, We're showing up in classic American Muscle."

"You're dropping me off?" Angel asked astonished.

"Yea. This is the last time I'll see my little boy for quite a while. Might as well Make it as long as I can. Plus. when you come back from your journey, this beast is yours" He said holding up a set of keys. One looked like a normal key while the other had a computer chip embedded in the metal, probably the ignition key.

Angel's dad stepped into the car and started up the beast. The throaty V6 roared to life as birds scattered away from the roar.

They arrived quickly As the white car slammed the brakes on. The front hunched so far forward from braking that the lower front air dam was barely an inch from the ground. The car settled back to it's aggressive stance soon after it had stopped. The heavy passenger door to the coupe shot open. A blue-haired teen boy basically fell out of the car and began kissing the ground.

"LAND!" Angel screamed kissing the ground.

Angel's dad got out of the car and walked over to help him up. "Oh come on. It wasn't that bad!"

Angel got up and waited with the others for the rest to show up.

Everyone had soon arrived and picked their pokemon. Their mentors introduced themselves (good thing too, because Angel had no idea who they were) and soon came up to Angel.

"SO which color Pokedex would you like?" Jason asked pointing to an array of different pokedex's. Angel just reached into his bag and pulled out a black and red pokedex Professor Oak had customized for him.

"Already taken care of." Angel said with a smirk.

"Your first pokemon?" Jason asked curiously.

"Again. Already taken care of." He said as he let his Bulbasaur out of the confinement of it's pokeball. "My dad works with Professor Oak." He explained.

"Well here. Take these then." he said handing Angel 5 pokeballs and a potion.

Angel placed them into his bag safely. "Thank you."

"No problem." Jason said with a smile ruffling his fluffy, spiky blue hair.

Name: Isaac Rendell

Age: 18 (almost 19)

Gender: Male

Personality: Isaac is a traditional young adult coming from a traditional home. By traditional of course, I mean extremely typical. Born into city life, Isaac is used to the fast life, instant results, and the rush that comes with life. As a result of his culture, Isaac is extremely reckless and careless seeking instant gratification in that moment. These acts reveal that Isaac is quite childish and borderline stupid. If action doesn't find him, he will find action pulling pranks, breaking the law; in general he will do anything. With his desire for the rush without the assistance of drugs, he is impatient and often acts before the word "think" enters his small brain. By the previous statement, you probably reached the conclusion that Isaac is particularly intelligent, and you would only be partially correct. Isaac is a man with plenty of common sense, but rarely uses it to do anything as he much rather enjoy simply acting and dealing with the consequences later. Raw intelligence isn't his strong suit, as Isaac was only a "C" student in High School and barely graduating having to repeat History twice.

Despite his standard adolescent rage, Isaac is quite enlightening with a great look on life, at least in his own mind. Being carefree, he goes with the flow of life, believing in karma and the notion that people emit energies creating certain auras. He lives in a constant quest to generate a positive aura, believing with all his heart that if he contains a positive vibe within his person, good fortunate will be upon him. As a result, he frowns upon religion as he sees only corporate heads trying to brainwash people.

Socially, Isaac is quite acceptable. He has great charm and charisma due his childlike nature and great reserves of energy. His only flaw is the traditional sense of women. He seems them as damsels in distress and often finds himself trying to protect them for the harms of society. Women interpret it as sexism, but he thinks they are putting on an image to distort men and catch them off-guard.

Appearance: Isaac has a standard appearance typical to that of male trainers, meaning he doesn't stand out in crowds, a trait he rather enjoys. He stands at about 5"9 with a thin yet capable body weighing in at about 165 pounds. From head to toe, his features make him appear like any other male.

OOC: Overall, I modeled his appearance after the Generation II male cool trainer sprite, since my goal with Isaac is to make as normal as possible.

Looking at his head and face, Isaac carries a young bright expression on his face that can be easily seen due to his fairly short dirty blonde hair, that is spiked out in the front allowing his vision to fully experience life so he says. The hair barely reaches his ears and his neck is fully exposed to nature. His eyes are an emerald green with a certain shine that reveals a free nature to them. His face is fairly youthful with a little bit of facial hair sticking out due to his laziness on shaving (he claims it is an unnecessary chore). He sports a single piercing, a sliver loop on his left ear lobe. This was a spur of the moment activity and he often forgets it is there.

His clothes are fairly standard amongst other trainers. He wears a jacket typical of the "cool-trainers" of the Johto region, only colored with a dark blue flavor instead. The designs are nearly non-existant as well, as he rather have no stand out symbols on his clothes. A plain slim fit black t-shirt remains underneath the jacket to prevent nudity. He wears worn and torn blue jeans in order keep his boxers from showing. The jeans seem almost unwashed with plenty of dirt stains and tears, but he assures everyone that his clothes are washed regularly. To keep his hands and feet protected, he wears fingerless leather gloves that are clearly broken in and standard running shoes that like his gloves are nearly broken.

Overall, he carries himself like most teenagers with decent yet not dominant posture and a casual style to walking. He often has a smile on his face, to signify his carefree and lax attitude towards life. His voice is comparable to that of a good natured hero in my modern depictions complete with some sincerity. However, he often uses casual language and simple diction with throws off his knight in shining armor energy his faceless voice may create and establish.

History(this history assumes that a standard school system exists within the region): As mentioned before, Isaac comes a standard and traditional home with no major problems to tell. His mother was a typical housewife and his father worked as a store manager at the Veilstone Department store. He lived in a home in which he was able to live comfortably with the run of the mill belongings. Isaac attended the public school system earning average grades due to the lack of natural intelligence and apathy towards studying. His attention was redirected by a desire to play sports with basketball and track being his personal favorites, and working in the same department store that his father made his second home.

He never caught on to the Pokemon craze until his junior year with the realization that most colleges would most likely not accept him to his ordinary grades, especially since he sought a business major. As a result, he worked more and more with the aim of simply receiving the position his father held within the company. However, one day his father granted Isaac a Pokemon that his brother caught but didn't want: A Scyther. Isaac's father told him to go out and experience world once high school was over with the hopes that the newfound experience would reveal his true calling to Isaac. Simply nodding his head, Isaac eventually took an interest into Pokemon.

Over the course of his final year of highschool had caught and battled a few Pokemon in preparation of his world tour. Upon graduating high school, Isaac had already trained Scyther to battle ready status and caught Rhyhorn through sheer luck. After traveling for nearly a year, Isaac has gained significant experience, but keeps a loose view on training and battling, showing no interest in leagues or badges. Instead, he is out for the thrill and the fun of independence and seeks to make his father proud with a new dream that is higher than a store manager.

Personality: Chuck is probably the funniest guy you'll ever meet, he isn't funny when he's trying to be except for when he pulls pranks on people. He's is funny when you are talking to him he doesn't make punchline jokes, he jokes about stuff. He used to be the class clown but was always very smart he ended with good test grades but had horrible behavior grades. Chuck is usually happy but when he sees disregard towards pokemon he gets mad.

Chuck isn't to picky with pokemon or anything for that matter. Though he has a prefference towards nicer pokemon, Chuck is fond of all sorts of pokemon. People quickly warm up to him and so do pokemon but he doesn't very easily get used to change. Chuck is very smart but sometimes he lets that get away from him, he does things often without thinking first. He rather dislikes grumpy people, and tries to cheer them up.

Appearance: Chuck has medium blonde hair and it goes to his brow in front and below his ears in the back. He has deep blue eyes that are very calming. He has medium length arms and legs and is about 5.7". He weighs 145 and is on the skinny side. He wears a black t-shirt with sleeves that go to his elbows, and the bottom goes a bit below his waist. He wears dark blue Jean Shorts that go to his knees. He has in between pale and tan skin. He wears a black and green fingerless glove on his right hand, the green lines his knuckles with a big stripe.Chuck often has bruises and scrapes on his legs and forearms, because he often wears shorts and short sleeve shirts when he goes to play with Matches his Typhlosion.

History: Chuck was born and raised in New Bark town in Johto. He spent most of his time catching new pokemon for Professor Elm, He would never want to keep any though. Chuck is an only child. Chuck lived in Johto all his life until just recently his parents and he moved to Hoenn so he decided to journey to Sinnoh be cause his least favorite region is Hoenn. He likes Sinnoh all except for the fact that Rowan is grumpy and has no sense of humor. Chuck recently returned to Johto to say high to Elm, but Elm had given him some awful news. Chucks parents had been kidnapped by Team Dimension. He had to go and get his parents back for whatever reason Team Dimension kidnapped them.

Name: Fox Voldian (Vol-Dan)

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Personality: Fox is quiet guy who likes being alone to think about stuff. He also knows how to live off the land. he loves apples and somehow always has an apple. He also loves to sit in trees and think, whether it be about the weather, or if its about what he will do next. He views life like a game of chess and will think for a long time do do some things, yet charge head first for others. his fearful qoute many have learned, "Even nightmares are Afraid of something..."

though he doesnt like people very much it is said i likes to return to Sandgem town in Shinto, and that when the children learn he is back, he will sit in front of the pokemon center and tell them storys, and his pokemon will act them out. the one the children like the most is the Fallen Heros. Where Blade and Knight play as two warriors that are trying to become stronger than the other to win the right to fight for the king, only to learn that the kings young girl, played by one of the young girls that come to listen, has been kidnapped by the evil witch-king, played by Ducky. so the two warriors team up to beat the witch-king and after they rescue the damsle-in-disress, both wind up earning the right to fight in the kings name, while earning the right to serve in the rumored, Knights of the Gem.(think Knights Templar, except the whole slaughter on 10/13/?? part.)

When Battleing Fox likes to think about it as a game of chess, and will sometimes say 'check', though he tries not to seek out battles he thinks of Battle as a great "training", he will however seek out those who hurt those he knows. (i think the last guy's just getting out of rehab...)

Appearance: Fox is about five ten, a bit tan, and built like a guy who doesnt work out, but that is not true. Fox is very strong(he has to be able to get up trees you know) and has been known for "stoping rampaging pokemon" (many think he doesnt, and think his pokemon help him with this.). he also has a lot of scars that cross his chest, and the one that runs from just above his right eye, to about the cheak bone. his eyes are a cold ice blue, and has long, greyish colored hair. he likes to wear lose fitting jungle fagitudes (camo for non-military-brat people.) a white shirt and a black leather jacket. he also has a large amout of bandanas.

Fox also has a bag that has pins on it, most of them seem useless but Fox keeps them as his tresure. along with this he has a folding chess board with wooden chess parts. he always has a pen or marker with him along with a 6in buck knife. he likes to right stuff down in a book that he keeps in a water proof case (in case it rains). along with these small nick-nacks he has what seams to be a packet of Tea, also in the water proof case.

Bio: Fox grew up in Johto, this though was not a great start. he grew up an orphan who would move from townspeople to townspeople. he would show up to school just for the fun of it, but to his classmates, he was an outsider. he left the town he had grown up in at nine to wander aimlessly. this proved a better suited to him and many wondered what was he doing at such a young age. though he soon got his first pokemon, a scyther, but not like many others. Fox saw that like him this scyther was an outsider and he would spend hours a day watching the pokemon fight for food. so he callanged the scyther to a game. Who ever could full fill a set amount of wins, won. lets just say that some of those were not Fox's best choice. many resulted in some of the scars covering his body.

a year later he was wandering through Honen he caught his ralts, Knight. and after hearing about a side evolution, ralts wanted to be the greatest fighter, even if he had to beat the hardend Blade. Knight trained long and hard to become better, and many a days he would challange Blade to a battle. soon Knight evolved, but this did not stop him, he wanted to become a Gallade. he trained even harder than before slowly geting to Shinto. There Fox was sleeping in the pokemon center in Sandgem, and Knight got out, he was training in the back when he saw Blade. Blade had a bright rock, a Dawn Stone. and he tossed it on the ground, then left. Knight went and got Fox, Who simply said "That is what you have been training for, that will let you become a Gallade." Knight went for it and evolved. He has never looked back, and he still trains so he will some day beat Blade.

Ducky is the Noctowl that Fox caught back a few years ago. Fox had found it Eating his Apples and had proceeded in catching him out of anger,(those apple had been rare ones that were hard to find.) having Blade attack full force. The nearby town could hear Fox raging through the forest trying to slow the Noctowl, and, after three days, he caught Ducky. soon he learned to like him, even letting him play chess against him while Blade and Knight Trained.

Pokémon:

Blade (scyther) aerial ace, furry cutter, false swipe, Vacuum wave.

Knight (gallade) confusion, leaf blade, slash, night slash

Ducky (Noctowl) Sky attack, Hupnosis, Confusion, Defog.

ok my idea was if you want to post with Mewtwo or Mew.

Because Mewtwo is dark and not evil any more.
Were as Mew is cute and kind and was never evil.

Also, Angle owes me... and yes, the new medical regs state that frostbite is the Sixth degree burn, while seventh is death by frost bite.

To answer most peoples question and sorry I'm replying late, different timezones lol. Yes your character would have had the Mew or Mew Two telepathic vision asking for help. So you would know a small amount of information about Team Dimension. :) Great posts everyone!

Ok guys, I have made trainer cards for everyone. I will be updating them whenever someone catches a Pokémon, which will make it much easier for us to know who has which Pokémon.
