Crasher Wake's Gym was a little hard, but everyone else was a joke. Fantina was a bit of a challenge as well but the second run through took her down.
Mothim is actually really awesome, spam Bug Bite on anything without resistance and it's down, not to mention how many wild Bibarel hold Sitrus/Oran berries. ;)
When Ponyta didn't evolve by the time Felix/Barry's did I had to look it up in case it was Fire Stone evo, turns out she was one level away. Flame Wheel rocks.
Steelix is kinda hard to use but I taught her Dig and she's been a bit more useful since.
Staraptor OHKOs wild mons with Quick Attack, so I'm happy with his attacks. XD
Bibarel's moves are Headbutt, Hyper Fang, Surf, and Yawn. Much attack.
Looking forward to catching Sneasel, not looking forward to training one. ;_;

i think he was my favourite to use, and up until this challenge i had no idea that the island on route 115 where you catch jigglypuff existed so im happy to have learnt something new in the process. I was hoping he would have had a better defense though, his hp was amazing so i wanted him to be a tank.

Probably my least favourite, mainly because im a blaziken fan and without its final evolution combuken is somewhat lacking in the fire moves department, although it did learn some interesting flying moves along the way which i didnt know it could do. Still, i didnt use him as much as i could have.

Kripke surprised me a little with his speed, i had been expecting something slower, and its moveset wasnt too bad either, aside from all of its weaknesses it was pretty handy to use in a fight

I enjoyed using this to a point, it was a good pokemon in battle, but apart from Barrier and Acid its moveset was absolutely awful, im not the type of trainer who used things like wrap, since i hate dragging battles out longer than they need to be, i had to teach it thief early on just so i could do some damage, i would use it again in a later game though if its moveset was improved.

First Update

Started off the game and have made some slow progress

-Caught the first available pokemon on my team on Route 2, a scatterbug, and deposited the starter i chose
-Trained up scatterbug in Santalune Forest and Route 3, which took forever, but it evolved twice to its final form
-Took on Viola, Santalunes Leader, and lost on the first try to her Vivillon with Infestation
-Round 2: Got her to use her potion on the Surskit which i could take out easily, then Stun Spore'd the Vivillon this time, with a few paralyzed turns I was able to take it down easily and get my first badge

Currently on Route 4, now that my only pokemon has some decent stats and moves, will hopefully progress much quicker!

Red...was...hard. My whole team was underleveled as hell, so he was a battle of Confuse Ray and heal stalling. I went in with 40+ Revives, 69 Hyper Potions (yes, I seriously had 69 Hyper Potions. I bought a ton before I went to Mt. Silver as I always do,) and a bunch of Max Potions and Full Restores. I had to Mo the Snorlax to death with flinch stalling, but Coral was MVP. She could live a Surf from Blastoise and survived a hit from Charizard so it could kill itself from confusion. Anyway...

Now, while I would go and do a Hoenn game next, I'm a bit Hoenned out right now since I'm in the middle of both a Randomizer Nuzlocke on Emerald and a Wonderlocke on Omega Ruby, and even though I have a digital download copy of Alpha Sapphire I can use, I'd rather wait until I'm at least finished with the Wonderlocke...although, since I have plans to restart Y soon once I Pokebank all my stuff, I'll do that.

2nd Update

Very little in game progress, but a lot in terms of assembling my team

-Met Sycamore in Lumiose City
-Obtained pokeflute and moved snorlax
-Hatched Electrike
-Caught Croagunk on route 7
-Beat Trevor and Tierno with Serena
-Beat team flare in glittering cave and found a fire stone
-Caught Eevee on route 10, evolved it with fire stone
-grinded awhile to get my pokemons levels up
-fought burgh and lost because croagunk wasnt healed
-round 2: like the first gym, got a paralysis on tyrunt from electrikes static which helped and got my second badge

Finally got some more pokemon to use! had to transfer an electrike from OR and breed it to get the egg, as electrike isnt available in X. Flareons quickly becoming my strongest and most reliable. Electrike is taking awhile to train, and his limited move pool hasn't helped so far. It'll luckily evolve soon, while croagunk still has a ways to go. Vivillon has been pretty helpful actually.
