  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I bought a 3 computer update on a sale a couple of months ago and I'm enjoying it. It's better than my old desktop xp and incredibly better than my laptop Vista.

  • Using Arch and loving it =)

I have used Ubuntu, it's decent. The new changes kinda suck imo. And Win 7, urgh... Just no.

The addition of Unity to Ubuntu isn't as bad as it might seem. Sure, it needs a little bit of work, and if you're the sort of person that's using Arch, the obviously Unity is going to be WAY too locked down for your usage. For most users, it's a nice change.

If you're not a windows person, then I can see why you wouldn't want to use Windows 7, but other than that, what's wrong with it? It's a little more polished that Vista and a damn sight better than XP.

Honestly, if one more person asks to buy a new computer with XP, I'm going to slap them. It's >10 years old, has horrible security, doesn't have a reasonable 64-bit implementation, doesn't support so many new features (DX10,11, etc), doesn't properly support newer hardware. And quite frankly, it's ugly. :/

Vista supports most of these, yet everyone seems to hate it. That's it. I'm making a Vista appreciation club. :D

For the record, I use Windows 7 Pro x64 on my Desktop, Mac OS 10.6.7 on my laptop and Ubuntu 10.10 on my fileserver.

    I use Windows 7.

I think it's the best. People who say that it sucks or other things related, and they haven't tested it, simply the fact that it's a Microsoft system, suck too. Many people believe they are cool saying that things.

I respect Linux/Unix (os Mac) users who likes their OS because of they have tested all of them and they prefer one or the other. But, OS Haters because so, NO.

In my netbook Windows Starter version, planning to partitionate the HDD and dual boot with Ubuntu 10.10 (just because i love it mainly :3).

In my Nook Color (tablet) i am running under Ver 7 of the CM7 ROM, it's pretty cool and stable, barely have to reset the system because of crashes or freezes.

Blackberry 9100 3G Running under un-released version of OS 6, the 424 one (yes i know i have to update but bear with my laziness a bit :3)

  • I'm currently running with Windows 7 and I have no problems, complaints or otherwise negative comments to make towards it. It's a well built, easy to use versatile operating system with hardly any issues to note.

  • I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on my desktop and I'm very satisfied with it. I'm definitely purchasing a Mac in the future because the Mac OS X is also another Operating System that I'm interested in using.

I use win7 on my high end desktop, but whenever i repair older computers for neihbors friends or family i usually put ubuntu on because older computers seem to handle long term use with it better.
