Heyo, folks. I'm new here. Clearly. Kinda drawn in by the ROM stuff and the fanfiction section. I've read the rules and familiarized myself and all that jazz, because, let's be honest, no one likes a jerk. There's a reason they're referred to as jerks.

I've been into Pokemon for basically the entirety of its presence in the US. I'm a theatre major, which means I'm better than you and get to spell it with a -re.

This is my first time registering for a forum since middle school. Which seems like forever ago. So yeah. Sorry if I botched it. I'll try to be a contributing member of society.

Well I'm glad you decided to join, welcome!

PC is a great place if you're only starting to get back into forums because we have a very interactive memberbase and very helpful staff members. Glad to see you've already taken interest in a few sections, and I'd be happy to direct you to both Emulation & ROM Hacking as well as Fan Fiction & Writing, the latter really needs more activity so you might be able to put some fuel back into there. But aside from there, we have loads of other great sections, Pokemon or not, that you should visit because take some time and explore!

Anyways, I'm sure you can stick around, become an active member and make some new friends. I also advise reading the rules or going in Community Questions & Feedback, or contact a moderator (like Cirno, who mods this section) and they should be able to help you. And it doesn't end there, because we have helpful people outside of the staff too. I'm always happy to get to know new members, so feel free to leave me a visitor message, and have fun at PC!

Wow, middle school? I wasn't even into forums until my freshman year in college! Never heard much of them back in my day. It was just plain email and stuff xD But anyways! Welcome aboard! It's great to see you here, and great to see that you have read the rules! Of course, no one on the internet likes jerks, and jerks suck. Thankfully we are not one.

There's no need to be sorry for joining, I'm sure you will get used to the awesomeness PC has. Since you are interested in Fanfiction & ROM Hacking, those two sections are located under the Creative Discussions board (Hikari linked both), where you can do both in different sections. The ROM Hacking section is much larger, and it has everything you need...in case if you decide to make a ROM hack! And there's also the Fanfiction & Writing section where you can share anything you write, stories/poems/etc!

Thanks guys. Yeah, I saw all that and am suitably overwhelmed and awed. I'm looking forward to everything on PC. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I check out, which is really nice.
