So the Royal Academy of Spanish just changed the spelling of some words, removed the accents from some other ones... and changed the name of the letter "y".
The new spellings aren't a new deal since well, I think everybody said Irak instead of "Iraq" already so that will be okay, and cuórum for "quorum" is... weird but acceptable, not like that is a really common word (it was a Latin one, and those were supposed to be exempt from the rules, not anymore it seems). The removed accents, not a great deal either since some were optional ("sólo"/solo - I always used the accent there so it will annoy me a bit but eh) or should have never existed to begin with ("guión"/guion - "truhán"/truhan, monosyllabes do not have accents unless they can be mistaken for other ones).
But changing the name of a letter? What the hell, seriously. Now the letter y is not called "i griega" anymore, but ye. That was precisely what all us Spanish-speaking people were asking for. So I have to learn the alphabet once again after 20 years. That will be fun. At least the new name is simple enough.
