I'd recommend getting involved in something. It doesn't really matter what, anything where you'll be talking to a relatively small group of people enough that they'll recognize your name, and later get to know you.

The Roleplay Theater or The Underground strike me as places that could provide that kind of atmosphere, but really any of the less busy threads/subforums here or on the PC Discord would work fine.

The GT 2019 event that's scheduled to run here soon is probably a good bet too.

Or if you prefer to make friends in private and you enjoy ROM hacks and/or fan games you might want to reach out to the creators of your favorites. People usually love to talk about their projects, and these days many games have their own small communities hanging out on dedicated Discord servers.

I think that roleplaying and mafia threads usually require that you sign up first, but for almost all of the conversations it's fine to simply join in. If you're looking for threads that anyone can drop in and out of at any time the Forum Games section could be a good one too. I'm not sure I'd describe it as a place to meet friends, but it's definitely friendly and some of the threads there look like they involve enough typing for your personality to shine through :)

Sure, we can be friends, feel free to PM me. It's a little hard to have conversations via blog comments because PC doesn't notify me when you respond, and I only check the blog section every few days at most!

I hope you find something(s) you want to join soon!

If you want to make friends then....Maybe try doing some pokemon challenges or something if you have some games. You could bond with people by posting updates about your progress and point out some tips for others that are thinking of doing the challenge. Though if that isn't your cup of tea then....Maybe search for something on here that you might be passionate about.

There is a challenge forum that shows different kinds of challenges that are available and it shows some interesting ones. Though some are a little outdated in the post might've been made a year ago or such. If you find a challenge you like though it ends up being like that you could ask the original person that made it if they don't mind "handing" the challenge to you and run it. But I think that has to involve some other stuff that I might not know and I might be talking nonsense saying this, but it is what I took from things. Also sure if you want to be friends.
