    Current mood: energetic
Currently listening to: some friend of mine on Facebook Live

Anyone up for some FOOT BALL??

The Houston Texans and the New England Patriots play against each other tonight, and I was looking forward to seeing the game after work. Work was really busy on my first day back after taking the past two days off. I managed to rest as much as possible. However, now I look forward to my Sunday because it wore me out. Probably because we got much more volume of customers than any other day this week.

A friend of mine just asked me on Facebook that if I was planning to watch the game later on, and I responded with a yes. He then invited me and Roy to another friend's place to go see the game live. I figured it would be fun, a trip to Houston would be in store! I asked Roy immediately afterwards if he wanted to go, but he was tired after working with his mom and dad in Houston, so I told him to take the rest of the night to himself while I go north.

I figured I should use this time to myself again, right? I mean, I'm surprised Roy allowed me to go to Houston by myself…to hang out with a group of guys and I'm gonna be the only female there. Usually guys would get a bit jealous of their girls when they are hanging out with a group of guys, but then again, these are also Roy's friends (well, except for one of them, a long story). I kinda did want him to come with me, but I gotta understand his preference, plus he's not a sports fan like myself, so yeah.)

I arrived at my friend's place at around 8:30 and it was the 2nd quarter. Texans were losing (as usual and predicted), and we were all chilling. Ordered some pizza and wings for us to enjoy. One of my friends asked me why Roy didn't come, and told him that he had to work. He was surprised that he allowed me to come hang out with the guys. I mean, was it really that necessary, though? It's not like I'm planning to cheat or anything.

The game ended with the Texans losing, and Tom Brady is even more douchier than ever. >_> I ended up leaving right after the game because I had a long drive and I was super tired from work. The forecast for the evening called for fog, so my drive would be a little tricky. Tomorrow the Steelers face off the Chiefs, and that's another game I plan to see. I don't know if I'll watch it here at home or go to a bar to see it. I like seeing football games with other peeps!

  • Pats fan here, was at the Pats game too.

Scariest blowout win I've seen. Game was much closer than scoreboard said. I like TB, but no way he was getting those calls. He was being way too dramatic.
