Yes it's that time of year again folks, I'm going to talk to y'all ABOUT EUROVISION WOOO
Ok so I wasn't a massive fan of this year, a lot of my favourites fared very badly and some bad songs did pretty well, sadly.
Much like last year I'm going to give you my opinions on the top 10 then I'm going to give you my personal top 10!
Top 10 Opinions:
1st (281 Points) - Denmark - Only Teardrops by Emmelie de Forest
I'd like to say I don't like this, and at first I didn't. I don't think it should've won, it was overrated and her singing voice is hardly exceptional, the staging was bland and really I think this song won because it was hyped rather than because it was the best song.
2nd (234 Points) - Azerbaijan - Hold Me by Farid Mammadov
GAH ANOTHER AZERBAIJANI ENTRY PLACING WAY HIGHER THAN IT DESERVED. Seriously, I'm fed up with Azerbaijan doing so well. I ship him and his "shadow" (a backing dancer inside a glass box who mirrored his every move) though.
3rd (214 Points) - Ukraine - Gravity by Zlata Ognevich
And here we see the first song in the top 10 I actually agree with the placing for, this song was brilliant, I love her, I love the song, love the staging, it was good and completely deserved a 3rd place finish, if not a win.
4th (191 Points) - Norway - I Feed You My Love by Margaret Berger
This trash didn't even deserve to make the final, it was absolutely abysmal, I hated it with a fiery passion of ten thousand suns.
5th (174 Points) - Russia - What If? by Dina Garipova
Loved it! This was a really beautiful song sung by a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.
6th (152 Points) - Greece - Alcohol is Free by Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis
No no no no no, this trash beat San Marino to the final, it's abysmal, hate it.
7th (126 Points) - Italy - L'Essenziale by Marco Mengoni
Italy have been sending good songs since they returned to Eurovision a couple of years back and the results have shown it, with another top 10 finish with a beautiful ballad sung by a lovely guy.
8th (120 Points) - Malta - Tomorrow by Gianluca
AH YES nothing like a fake smile by some creepy looking Maltese doctor. No, I didn't like this, no it didn't make me smile.
9th (114 Points) - The Netherlands - Birds by Anouk
Oh shut up. Yes, I'm happy the Netherlands are back in the final after what? 8 years? This song however should've have been their finalist, it was terrible, I can't Anouk and this song just made me want to fall asleep.
10th (84 Points) - Hungary - Kedvesem by ByeAlex
Bye, Alex. Bye bye bye. Why are you in the top 10? Why are you in the final? Why are you at Eurovision. Go home, you were terrible and the staging was just... No.
