Omg I just saw and read this..

So, I was looking through youtube to get some ideas on maybe fandubbing some scenes from Angel Beats! just for fun and I wanted to look more into the Girls Dead monster songs and I read this comment, which was quite recent.


"THIS IS NERVE WRACKING!! Angel Beats SEASON 2 CONFIRMED!! Spring 2011"

If this is true.. I will be so damn happy, even more happy than I already am ;~;

but if it isn't then, that's okay.

To be honest, I never really expected a second AB! season to ever premiere. Only Clannad had a sequel out of all their works, though Kanon did get a remake + added on episodes (but I'm not the biggest Key expert here, so who knows how accurate I am).

You'd think if such a major announcement was made, the angel beats twitter would have had an update within the last 20 days

Adding on, the only chance would be Heaven's Door/Track Zero, otherwise OVAs with backstories

Well, I'd love to see an Angel Beats! sequel, but I honestly feel like that series tied it self up pretty neatly. It doesn't need a sequel so much. Still, I found it to be a really moving series...and I hope than any sequel that they do spawn from it is just as epic. :3

Yes, it's true . . . it's been true for quite some time, actually. But in either case, it's confirmed, though I too am somewhat wary of what they're going to do with it - I mean, it ended perfectly, right? I was in tears, so they must have done something right.

What? No. Didn't I just clarify that there will be no Angel Beats! in Spring 2011? Additionally, there are no official sources that confirm a season 2 either.

Spring, probably not. However, I have seen - somewhere - an interview with . . . ah, I can't remember who it was. Some high-up mucky-muck at the animation studio. But at the very least, I'm pretty damn sure they're doing a season two.
