I've been thinking about my country, the United States. I've been pondering its future, what it's next milestone is. And I wonder, are we doomed to idiocracy? Have the capitalist jackals won? Are we condemned to eternal internment for our own stupidity? Moreso; do we deserve such a plight? To both, I say nay.

I firmly stand by the obvious treachery greed has bestowed upon us, in disgust and apall. There is a cult of moronic idiocy rooted in a bastardization of love and equality, and it is poison. Like any reality, though, there is always a flip side. Also among us is a cult of thinkers and skeptics - those who are smart enough to know their spoon-fed literacy is woven of lies. These people are often dismissed as lunatics and conspiracists - thrown into the lot of fruit cakes without a thought; all the better this acts as shield dust for their priceless knowledge. These people know of all the lies and crimes silently committed by these shadowy psychopaths, and just as silently collect them as profile. They... no, we, are duly aware of the torture, enslavement, and death put forth in the name of these embodiments' cause.

One day, there will come a breaking point - a final climax of tolerance for evil. And when that day comes, the floodgates of hell will be broken. In this once quaintly peaceful country will be a violent outrage the likes of which have not graced this earth; there will be no comparison of its volume. The ones who stood by and indulged in the feigned lap of luxury bestowed to them from the grim reaper himself will be buried in an avalanche of anguish and disdain for the very things they used to love; not a soul will say otherwise to such a fate. And when the smoke finally clears, survivors will look on and kneel, cherishing what they earned, and damning the atrocities of the past. Others will glance and say, "looks like the Yanks weren't so bad after all."

...this is what happens when I'm alone for hours listening to Pink Floyd. I poured my soul into this ;_;

This may happen one day. But not for a long, long time. Rome fell, Persia fell, America might fall one day. I don't think it will be for a long time though.
