Finally a monthly update that's made on time…and early! (On the 30th or 31st, I wanted to do something special, so I'm posting this early okie!)

It was actually a month of excitement, sadness, and anticipation. A month of changes in life, and brand new adjustments, as well as challenges! Oh yeah, I have a lot of them.

The first half of the month was mostly excitement and sadness. Right as I got back from my week trip from Houston, I gave my manager two weeks' notice, letting him know that I would be moving. He proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't quit, and that I should apply for a transfer, even though there would be a chance that Human Resources would deny the application seeing that it was "last minute". So, you know what? I did go for the transfer attempt. A few days later, I had a telephone interview with one of the store managers in Houston, asking for my recent training, as well as he asked for my store manager's phone number so she could obtain a review from him. Afterwards, I received more-than-wonderful news from my store manager the day before my last day: my transfer got approved, and the store manager in Houston promoted me to key holder. I wouldn't start until the Monday I start classes at my new uni.

My new job as key holder isn't too bad, albeit does have its "under pressure" times. I'm the kind of person that likes to work under pressure, and it's a good job for me. However, I haven't forgotten that I still have my degree in IT that I've received back in December, and I wanted to put it to good use now that I'm in a big city like Houston. So I sent in a few resumes, and did go for a few interviews. I'm still waiting on two, one of them for a 2nd interview. Hope I get it!

My school schedule is pretty flexible. Originally I was taking morning classes, but part of the reason why I decided to switch to night classes instead, was because I came in late to class all week. I left my place at around 7:30-7:45, hoping for a 10-15 minute commute via Southwest Highway 59 as well as the Sam Houston Tollway. My first class would start at 8:30. Well guess what, I was completely wrong. Traffic ruined my trip. 45 minutes to an hour commute. I would have to force myself to wake up even EARLIER to beat the traffic. (5:00 am…lolno). So, I ended up seeing my advisor for a change, and was granted. 6:00 – 10:00 pm classes. Rush hour traffic dies down at around 5:30 on the Tollway, so I should be fine.

Life in Houston, right now? Pretty fucking fabulous. As mentioned in the past, it has everything I asked for in a big city. There's literally a lot to do here. Last weekend I went to the Galleria (Houston's largest shopping mall), and I joined a Brony group that was meeting up there. I instantly made friends, and two of them go to the same uni as I do, so I now don't feel *too* alone in the city at least. Even one of the bronies there asked me out a couple days ago. You know the dumb part of this? He wanted ME to give him a ride to a nearby Starbucks. Of course, knowing me, I declined the offer. He tried again later on only this time he wanted to go somewhere near his apartment, at walking distance. Also declined the offer. Sorry, dude, this lady don't need a man like you. (and I already like someone else so THERE'S THAT).

Like I said, this month was packed. Aside from uni, work, newly-formed social life and stuff, I still had time to do other things myself. Went to two concerts this month: Ariana Grande and Pentatonix. Both shows were absolutely stunning! Life on my own has allowed me to explore my freedom, as well as carefully make the decisions as long as I don't fuck it up (and if I do, that's fine..it becomes a lesson instead).

April…shall be packed too. Most of the uni stuff will be on that month, so unsure of activity. Also, if you guys haven't read THIS BLOG ENTRY, I'm going to Kansas City on April 9th to visit the amazing Buoysel! I am freaking stoked about it. We already planned out what we're going to be doing, so all I know that it's going to be a weekend that I will never forget. <3

Bombs away!
