Is it no longer possible to do a randomizer run with random types? I get options for random, +abilities, +movesets, but even if I turn everything on they still are their original typings.

I finished my Ice monotype yesterday. It was pretty difficult.Pokemon Radical Red_1625400204623.pngPokemon Radical Red_1625400299621.pngPokemon Radical Red_1625400316163.png

Also, when i started my Ghost monotype, i realised that Yamask (both the normal and Galarian one) have the same cry as their evolution. Is it normal?

    So, uh hi.
I've watched a few streams and I've seen Hardcore Nuzlockers in Hard Mode get a Care Package from Oaks Aid early on (in addition to skipping the catching tutorial, the kid in Viridian asking weird questions etc.).
Why isn't this happening for me? Do I have the wrong version or what am I missing?

Finally beat Pokemon League on default minimal grinding mode after failing with several different teams. Ended up tryharding a bit with this team after trying out with weaker teams I used throughout the game.
    HBSPFrO.png

    Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Charizard-Mega-Y has huge upfront special power attacks and very good coverage. Lorelei's rain team was destroyed by Charizard-Mega-Y (except for Primal Kyogre).
    Ability: Drought
    Timid Nature
    - Solar Beam
    - Focus Blast
    - Flamethrower
    - Roost

    Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Chandelure can trap enemies and force them out via U-Turn and hit the switch-in stupidly hard with Choice Spec'ed Flamethrowers. Ghost typing is very useful for switching into Close Combat's which are numerous in the Pokemon League.
    Ability: Shadow Tag
    Modest Nature
    - Flamethrower
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Shadow Ball
    - Calm Mind

    Chansey @ Eviolite
Chansey is an unbreakable special wall used for tanking and setting up Stealth Rock and Toxic. Seismic Toss is used for additional chipping damage. Natural Cure is mandatory if Chansey is hit by Toxic.
    Ability: Natural Cure
    Bold Nature
    - Toxic
    - Stealth Rock
    - Seismic Toss
    - Soft-Boiled

    Dragonite @ Leftovers
Dragonite was used as the only setup sweeper in the team. Dragon Dance + Multiscale is a deadly and beefy combo.
    Ability: Multiscale
    Jolly Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Outrage
    - Dual Wingbeat
    - Earthquake

    Wailord @ Leftovers
Wailord is the MVP of the team and has been on every iteration of the team. It is one tanky motherpsyducker able to deal with many different threats. It tanks special attacks for days with Amnesia, and physical attacks are tanked with help from Multiscale. As an example, Zacian-C at +3 attack Close Combat only damages down to 1/2 HP if at full health. Bouncy Bubble and Leftovers let's you abuse Multiscale. Get one of these if you are struggling on anything.
    Ability: Multiscale
    Calm Nature
    - Water Spout
    - BouncyBubble
    - Ice Beam
    - Amnesia

    Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Skarmory sets up Spikes and tanks physical hits using Sturdy, Rocky Helmet and Roost.
    Ability: Sturdy
    Impish Nature
    - Whirlwind
    - Body Press
    - Roost
    - Spikes

    Honorable mentions:
Primeape with Gorilla Tactics and Choice Band/Scarf.
    Ampharos/Mega Ampharos.
    Mega Venusaur.
Shiftry with better stats than vanilla.
Special attack Blaziken with Speed Boost.
    Gastrodon.
    Mamoswine with Thick Fat.

    Hardest fights:
    Misty
    Sabrina
    Morty
Team Rocket Gauntlet (fuck killing 8 enemies without healing)
Giovanni at Cerulean Cave (Scrafty is nasty. Mewtwo-Y forced me to bring a Mega Sableye)
Champion at Pokemon League (fuck Yveltal with new Dark Hole)
Lance at Pokemon League (fuck Primal Dialga)

Also, for the next update, can you add a option to lock the randomness in the randomizer? Wild encounters change everyday but also movepools and abilities.
Because of that, i lost Tough Claw on my Archeops.
Not only that, but this may also mean that we can abuse the move relearner or the egg move specialist to make pokemons with perfect broken moveset like the illegal ones in the Elite 4 and Champion team of Hard mode.
I would like a new option for the randomizer that, when activated, will disable the daily shuzzle of the encounters, abilities and movepool.

I have a suggestion that maybe you add 5 more boxes to the pc so that making a living dex is possible

I think if that were already possible, Soup would've done that. It requires more space within the rom to make so many boxes available. You can still have every fully evolved Pokemon with all forms in the box currently.

in the hardcore mode i can obtain the charizardite x?
If i remember correctly, you have to show a Charizard to the guy between Celadon City and the road where you need the bike. He can also gave you the Mega Gem for all gen 1 and 3 Starters if you do the same with them and if you show them all, he'll give you the Mega Gem for Lucario

My game (using latest 2.3a version) softlocks every time I complete the Elite Four nowadays for some reason. I have completed them 20 times before without any problems, but now all of the sudden, the game softlocks on the Hall of Fame screen and I cannot do anything about it. The music is playing in the background and that is about it.

The screen just looks like this:

Has anyone else experienced this before? Any ideas on what might cause it and how to prevent it from happening?

The image you attached doesn't load, and visiting the direct link takes me to an invalid dropbox URL.

What, if anything, did you do different? Did you save in the E4?

Strange, as it says that anyone with the link should be able to see it.
It is basically just this standard Hall of Fame screen without any pokemon or text, just the background:

I did not do anything different to what I normally do, which is why I am so confused. I always save the game before I face them and then just go from there. Everything works fine until the Hall of Fame screen appears and you are supposed to see the pokemon that you completed the league with, which in this case does not happen. Instead of the pokemon appearing, the game softlocks as soon as the Hall of Fame screen appears and you cannot press anything or do anything at that point, apart from resetting the game.

Yes but in the hardcore mode when you show charizard obtain the mega y and i would have the mega x stone.
