All correct! Well, it was Galarian Meowth, but I accept Purrserker too. I was going for how the beard on Meowth makes it look round and fluffy at first glance, before you realise it's just a beard in front of the body.

I'm not sure if this means it has uneven hands, like kingler has 1 claw that is bigger than the other, or if it just has strong hands/is strong.
For the first only Kingler comes to mind straight away and it has claws, not hands. For the latter there's various fighting types that are buff/strong.
