Totally, and they all sucked except for Palkia and Dialga. Although I haven't seen Darkrai, Arcues, or Shaymin. Darkrai looks pretty awesome. But why were the trio of legendaries all psychic? They should be fire, ice and electric, like they were in the olden days.

I think all the legendaries were awesome, except Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, whom I hated just because of their ridiculous difficulty level for catching them.

But Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Shaymin, Giratina, Manaphy/Phione, Rotom, Heatran...I love them all in their own way. (Well, kinda neutral toward Heatran, not enough story with him).

It's just my opinion, but i don't consider manaphy and phione legendaries for d/p because you don't really get them in those games.

I didn't mind that amount of legendaries, the only thing that really bugged me was that they didn't really have any back story. It's just like "Oh look, a legendary that just sits around doing nothing! Let's catch it!"

Well, if you compare it to the incredible amount of gods and godesses and other figures we've got in our own mythology, there really aren't that many. I mean, there are about a couple less than 40 legendaries in all as of now in Pokemon, which seems like a lot but really isn't XD

however, I see where you're coming from. There are quite a lot of legendaries in D/P/P, having it be more spread out would be nice too. That, and the legendaries do all seem to be following a pattern, basically either a sleeping giant sort or a see-it-once-then-chase-it-around-the-country sort without much type variation.
Also. The insane amount of psychic-type legendaries! variety plz lol. I wanna see a Poison, Fighting, or Bug legendary (that works), ideally.

There's only 35 legendaries, and compared to a total of 493 Pokemon, that's pretty small. So I can tell that Nintendo wanted more legendaries. Plus, every legendary has it's story, but I personally think Nintendo rushed some of the legendaries. Mr. Person is kind of right. When I took a look a Giratina, I said "Oh, look! It's a big legendary dragon and ghost pokemon doing nothing! Lets catch it!" But sometimes they have a reason for that. Like Giratina. Remember, Giratina is supposed to be star of Pokemon Platinum. So I can go either way with this.

Palkia and Dialgia ae both powerful and cool, so they are good. Heatran's backstory is a bit plain to me. The people say: "oh there's a pokemon that is deep asleep in the volanco for years! And when you see it nothing happens... I would expect a earthquake or something like that, but it didn't happen. I got used to psychic lengendarys, and I would like to see a fighting or bug lengendary in next gen.

Considering Sinnoh is the region where we encounter the "God" of Pokemon, Arceus, I think the legendary level is quite fair for this region.

I agree with King Tyranitar. It seems fair, as maybe the legendaries get "attracted" to this region because of Arceus? I do agree with Mr.Person too, Giratina didn't had any back story in D/P (but it probably will in PLT, like Rayquaza had no story in R/S (you just went like, "OMG, I've heard on Internet it's a legendary dragon in the sea to east of Pachifilogic Town/Turnback Cave! Lemme go catch it NAOW!") but was the star in Emerald). Also, Heatran have more story than Giratina. It's like you talk about a "Pokémon sleeping inside a volcano" and then you have to go help a guy find it and then it's like BOOM he goes back and you have to find him again >_> I think it's a very bad story for most of the legends. I prefer to call Palkia/Dialga/Arceus/Giratina/Darkrai/Shaymin the Main Legendaries of Sinnoh, like Kyogre/Groudon for Hoenn, though.

I would have preferred new stories with old legends, rather than new legends with the same old story.

Darkrai is pretty cool with Roar of Time and Spacial Rend, if anyone went to that event. They could have done away with Cressila, took me a LONG time to catch that sucker since I used a Master Ball on Mespirit.

Arceus is one god of a Pokemon, could they surpass in Generation 5? We know they won't stop.

Oh yeah, and Heatran, he, well, I don't really see the reason to need him. And Giratina had no story either, until now. What are they going to do about that weird place Giratina lives in. Maybe that was going to be some sort of Torn World in D/P, but they realized now they could do that.

And I'm thinking of the compatibilty with D/P and PBR, to D/P it might only be battling ane training, no battle tower, no poffin, online maybe so, except the 20 person thing.
That won't work, and Wi-Fi underground. Oh well.

15 Legends, all awesome. Although I do agree with that the three psychics should be changed to grass fire and water. Rotom is my personal favorite.

I would have preferred new stories with old legends, rather than new legends with the same old story.

I would get irritated with the same legends not being captured and reappearing time and time again. How would you like to see Moltres in every single generation? I want some variety. If we used the same old legends, then every single region would not have their individual secrets, making every region, frankly, not worth going to.

Rotom isn't legendary. I don't know why anyone thinks he is. I agree with people saying that the legendary level was fine and that the legends just need a story rather than being some random thing to get.

Rotom is not a legendary Pokemon. Sorry to break it to you.

The legendaries in Sinnoh are horrible compared to the old Johto/Kanto legendaries IMO.
How can you even compare Palkia, Regigigas, The three lame apes, Shaymin, the volcano spider (lol) etc. to the old legendaries like Mewtwo, Raikou, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Zapdos?
I prefer quality over quantity - I prefer the old, few, but great legends over the rushed, lame, boring, and numerous new ones.
