4th Gen The most pathetic looking D/P Pokemon.

Lucario is based off of Anubis, the Egyptian god who, apparently, became considered more the gatekeeper and ruler of the underworld...

...That's pretty cool.

I do think, however, that Lucario is overated.

Probopass: I hated Nosepass...did we need to make it go another notch? BAM!

And alot of the first gens that got an evolution or a step up evolution...kinda ruined the nostalgia of the first gens...

And they went extreemly overboard with adding a crapload of legendaries in these versions....

"Pathetic-looking" is the key people. Probopass looks strong-tacularly funny, not particularly pathetic, I'll say. Hmm...Pathetic...eh... I dunno, I might just say Feebas or Bidoof. Heheh. Bidoof is funny.

And I agree with Purugly not being Pathetic. No way. It's so ugly that it scares the living daylights out of other Pogeymans, therefore making it not pathetic. ^.^

*sighs* Nintendo should not be 'running out of ideas' and dishing out Pkmn like Spiritomb, Bibarel, and Probopass :\. There's like a million fake Pokemon out there (with a lot of them being actually good!) and many more unused animals! I'll take a Pandough over Probopass anyday. So, if they're 'running out of ideas', there are many fans that would happily supply new Pokemon!! :)

Most of the new evolutions of the older Pokemon looked stupid to me at first. However as you play the games, they become normal to me. I find this happens every time a new load of Pokemon come out.

I also think Bidoof fits in with the origonal Pokemon style.

With the 4th generation comes some incredible stupid/unthoughtful pokemon. Examples: Lickilicky, Lopunny, Probopass, Carnivine.

The winner, in my opinion: Mime Jr....The most unnecessary/stupid looking pokemon ever. And it doesn't even look like Mr. Mime at all...

Yes, they are all badly designed, and mostly come up with as filler to get over the 100 pokemon limit. Though I like Lopunny and Mime Jr. (Even though it doesn't look like Mr. Mime) and Carnivine is okay if you like that kind of thing.

Cherim. There's no way around it, it is the single most simple sprite for one, they're just two pink heads connected by two lines. And they're cherries! You pick them off trees and eat them! Pretty pathetic, but it is an original idea... I guess.
