Pokemon Fire Red Hack.

Introduction
Hello all, I began planning this project in January,
My first two hacks were "Epic Fail" as you may have called it.
Or you could just say; It never worked out.
So here I am.. I would have kept this in for a while longer, however,
I wanted to show my progress.

Story
You are a child, the son of "Malin" the legendary Pokemon trainer of,
a stunning region called "Araya." In the morning, your father asks you
to go pick up his Package, he seemed to be waiting for this for
months, as days went by, he kept asking, "Is my mail here yet?"
But every time you went to check, nothing there. Whats up with that?

Now today is the day your father has agreed to let you start a new life,
exploring the "Araya" region. But how could he let you go alone?
Your friend "Kenny" was asked by him too, just to keep an eye on you.
-
Just as you were about to go out the door to go and get Kenny,
your father asks "Could you check my mail please?"
as always, you went to check.. but this time.. "It" is here!
-
You rush home to your father to give it to him, then Rush back
outside to get kenny. When you had gotten kenny, a note, and
"Two" Pokemon were on the table.. Whats up with that?

Features
-New region.
Yeah, a whole new region, with beautiful maps is here!
-New Events.
New stunning events, never before seen scripts, from another world.
-New Sprites.
Yeah, I will attempt spriting.
-Dirty Story twists.
The name says it all.. Lots of huge Twists will be included in This hack.
-Awesome Tiles.
I will personally pick out the Best tiles, obviously suitable to the atmosphere.

Yeah, i believe i've seen this game in an older thread before.... but have never put a comment on it.

Sounds good. The new scripting and stuff. Pretty nice.
The beach map is a little odd to me, the lines are too.... straight. Maybe you could break it a little. And the idea of the maze-like routes is not my favorite, i really get kind of tired of them after a while.... but it seems to me that it's generally approved by the public.

Anyway... waiting for some screens showing us some pieces of the story! Keep us posted.

That route is far from a maze. its very small. And More screens coming soon, as im scripting =D

Okay. I know, they are in like all the hacks. Notice all the good hacks dont have
D&P Pokemon. Maybe I wont include.

Lets see what I find wrong with this.

I don't want to sound mean, but here goes...

It really isn't reborn if the only thing that's the same is the name. It's a completely different hack with huge amount of changes. Now, whether I think those are good or those are bad, I'll tell you in a sec.

Now, the mapping looked a lot better in the old one, meaning somehow you downgraded yourself, or you're just using the new tiles improperly.
Personally, I think it's both... and one more thing to add, I think you're also using the standard tiles poorly too :(

The mapping seems sloppy and out of hand with errors or screw ups in practically every screen. What the heck does your story mean? "Please comment," last time I checked, that's not a very good story <_<
Forgotten legend is about to become a reality is also a major cliche, used in 40% of hacks I see today in scrapboxes.

You're script is also an idea rip off of Thethethethe's "get the running shoes" script :O
I'm really sorry, but this is just like a new hack by you. :(

I do however love the CSS, along with how you placed the grass ^^

That's all I have to say, once more, I really do apologize for sounding harsh up there.

Okay, Since disturbed wants to be like that, I had to change the story little.
I will divide the story into chapters. Which I will Add
When I have the time Or when I release a playable version.

Chapter name: "A Unusual start"

In the region of Araya, a well known region because of its scenery, and nice people and Pokemon.
The day has come! When you will receive your very first Pokemon,
And this day was your Birthday! as you go down stairs,
A whole crowd of people rush at you and shout "Happy Birthday!"
You never cared about the mass amount of people. All you wanted was your
Pokemon. Straight away, you ask your mother, "Wheres my Pokemon?"
She answers, "It escaped" In a rush you run out side and try to find your pokemon.
(Side Quest One)

Mean while, a secret evil government are Plotting something.. Something big..
I think that might be where your journey begins!

Update

I finished the first City of Araya (Region in Obsidian)
Its called Mountide Town, Where a Huge action packed event occurs. :P
Its not much to look at but, playing through is awsome.

Heres the screen(s):

Before you Tile freaks start complaining, Yes, I will change the
Deep water Place, and that island with the tree.

Im not too fond of the Museum tile. But its a.. not telling :P

I love the mapping, and the tiles/palettes are very unique. Don't worry if you're not getting that many replies don't give up, keep going and your hack will eventually become very good.

I have decided to not include the 1st City in this hack. as you go through a Cave..
And something happens.. so I don't think I will introduce a 1st City.
Its the public's Decision.

The Cave event Where something happens..
or
The 3rd town with the Professor event Where something happens..
