Birds, Dogs, Regis, or Lake Trio?

Birds, they're classic. Dogs are ok. Though I don't see them too often. Regis are cool. I don't care for the Rats. :x

I think the lake trio needs to go back to their lakes in burlap bags full of rocks. Lmao jk. but I only like Uxie. The other two ehhhhh...

The legendary birds are my pick! They have really cool designs, moves, and calls. Zapdos is a beast...

I pick the dogs because I dont really like the other ones that much. The birds are ok... and the lake trio is sort of ok but the Regis are just very strange looking.

Anyways...to supplement my argument, look at the birds. I was eleven when Red/blue came out, so at the time, I couldn't care less about battle viability. As long as they looked cool and learned powerful attacks, I liked them. I was able to visually look at the birds and distinguish that one is a fire-type, one is an electric-type, and one is an ice-type just through their design and coloration. Their names even help describe their typing, making it easier to identify them.

-ARCTIC-uno = ice-type bird = blue one with ice-crystal crest feathers.
-ZAP-dos = electric-type bird = yellow one with jagged, spark-shaped wings
-MOLT-tres = fire-type bird = red one with fire on its wings.

The same can be said about the beasts, even if their names are a bit more foreign to the average non-Japanese gamers.

now, let's look at the lake trio...ignoring the fact that I was 20 when diamond/pearl came out and think like the kids the game is marketed towards. That means ignoring all the technical aspects of the game and just taking everything at face value.

We know there's a blue one, a yellow one, and a pink one. all of them have the same typing, making them seem like clones of eachother. Their secondary characteristics are never really reflected in their designs or their. Besides, as cool of a gimmick as it may seem, being the legendary beings of Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower means squat when you just want to battle with them. I wanna battle with the legendary being of pwnage. XD

...but enough of my rant. You can choose to disregard it if you want...I was just bored. XD

I prefer the Legendary Dogs and Birds over the rest because it brings me back to when it was just 150-200+ Pokemons and you don't have to worry about much except wasting time catching them.

Legandary Birds. They're Lugia's Trio, and are (In my opinion) the most powerful. They almost destroyed the world with their fighting. Of course, they are also the origanal trio. And they (along with Ho-Oh's trio) are among the only trios actually worth catching.

I chose the Legendary Bird trio and the Legendary Dog trio, because I absolutely love the original Kanto and Johto Pokemon. <3
The Regi trio are exceedingly ugly [in my opinion] and the Lake trio is completely pointless. Who needs three psychic legendaries in one region [four with Cresselia]?

Although now I can't help but think there should be more votes for the lake trio as there was a story behind them... but as Marie said, who needs four psychic legendaries in one game? And I think we've reached a group decision that the Regis are in fact, by far, the worst... because they were just so random and... somewhat ugly.
They then tried to make up for it with Regigigas... which didn't work... IMO.

Regis FTW!They're just so awesome.They're the only ones who actually unlock a powerful Legendary(Regigigas).They also have some very unusual looks.Which I LOVE!
