4th Gen What would you change about pokemon Dimond/Pearl/Platinum

- Make one actually battle Charon, that was kind of a let down.
- Make Defog not a HM and instead make Flash clear fog.

If I could change some things, I would:

• Add in more fire Pokémon in the wild so you're not relying on Chimchar until you get the National Dex (Ponyta is good but doesn't learn any fire moves for ages).
• Get rid of the massive level gap between the Sunyshore Gym and the Elite Four. Every time I go through the game I have to spend a couple of days levelling up all my Pokémon before I can take on the League.
• Get rid of Defog. It's literally the most stupid HM ever and only existed to be annoying.
• Make the battles go faster. X does ## damage. *three second wait before next message comes up* was really irritating.

That's all I can think of on the spot.

Here is what I suggest be changed (some are repeats) :

More Galactic battles.
Battle with Charon.
More trainers in Victory Road.
Make the rival more Silver-like.
Work around the "Saving A Lot Of Data... that takes over half a minute to save.
No more hax luck in the Battle Tower/Frontier. Or, just get rid of the place completely.
Contests over Wi-Fi.
Battles in Secret Bases

I would add in more wild Pokemon. For some reason this dex seems much smaller than all the others. It seemed like no matter where I was in the game, the same few Pokemon kept appearing.
I avoided grass at all costs because I knew the only wild Pokemon that would appear that I actually liked was Giraffarig.

-Be able to battle with Charon
-Get rid of Defog as HM. Worst HM ever in my opinion.

Well if I could improve anything...

1. I would change the layout of Mt Coronet. It is really confusing if you wanna reach to the top.

2. I would add the function to let Pokemon following you too. Considering HGSS developed the same time around DPPt, they should try to implement it at least in Platinum.

3. Someone has mentioned the slow text in the game, which I agree.

4. The heavy snow route (I have forgotten the route number).

5. I wish running is like that in HGSS. I don't wanna hold button B all the time.

- Add some more pokemon from previous gens. The choice before the Nat.Dex is really small.. and most pokemon are ugly.
- Get rid of Bidoof.
- Add more badass things in the storyline (raep!)
- Get a chance to rechallange the gyms after beating the E4.
- Things that others had mentioned, like getting rid of Defog and etc.

Have Team Rocket!!!(Ultimate showdown-Rocket wants to sell Dialga, Cyrus wants to use it, You give it to rocket, rocket sell it to Cyrus, then you capture it).
Have the wi-fi room like in Platinum.
Have Stark Mountain erupt, fill the seas arond the Battle Zone with lava, so you have to have a poke with thick fat or damp to Surf on that area.
Have lava in Stark Mountain
Have the guy who tells you your hidden powers

Take the fog condition out of the game. It's absolutely pointless. Also I hate the veilstone department store. I would definitely make it so much bigger. It's supposed to be a huge store and dppt could have taken advantage of the 3d engine to make an epic building.

I would get rid of the following things: Amity Square (Or make it so all starters can go in with you), HM05 Defog (Or make it a TM and have good ol' Flash back), Bidoof and Bibarel (Although they are good HM slaves), All the (Mud, Water, etc.) Sport moves.

I would change: Half the Sinnoh Pokédex (Most of it is Hoenn Pokémon) to include more Fire Pokémon, the Temple (or Religious Building) in Hearthome City to include some peaceful music, and the starter Pokémon the include all starter Pokémon (thus changing most of the start of the game).

I think that's it.

Actually the least generation of Pokemon in it is Hoenn.

In Diamond and Pearl:

And in Platinum:

~Again, the same wild Pokémon appear throughout the entire game. Bidoof, Bibarel, Buizel, Floatzel, Geodude, Graveler... It got repetitive until Swarms came about. Then it got boring after I got all of those...
~The E4 Level Gap.
~*More diverse storyline. It was good here, but it really could have been better. Needed a little more of a challenge*
~Double Team on Staravia. It just pisses me off.
