UPDATE 2

-Continued down route 3
-Caught a spearow who i can trade for far'fetched later
-Searched for a while for nidoran(female) since its rarely found
-Finally caught one
-Leveled up nidoran until lvl 14 before i head through the mt moon
-Nidoran evolved into Nidorina at lvl 16
-1/6 Random members obtained
-Got the helix fossil (for my future Omastar)
-Finished mt.moon
-Saw Gary again lost...Badly
-Went to go grind for exp some more :(
-After exp grinding to a level 23 i beat gary with just Nidorina
-Using just Nidorina i beat all the trainers up top and it got up to lvl 27

CERULEAN CITY GYM

-Finish trainers with ease
-Misty
-Sends out a Staryu lvl 18
-Use bite 1HKO
-Misty sends out Starmie lvl 21
-Starmie put up a fight but bite was super effective against it easy badge
-BADGE COUNT:2

AFTER CERULEAN CITY GYM

-Started training that spearow so my far'fetched would be somewhat usable right away
-Traded spearow for a far'fetched named... CH'DING????...WHY?
-Then got my Diglett which will be great against lt.Surge
-3/6 Random pokemon obtained
-And i also caught a drowzee which will evolve into my Hypno
-Had to level grind everyone to at least 20 they where extremley underleveled
-Went to the ss.anne
-Found Gary easy win
-Got Cut
-Went and fought a couple more battles with drowzee before going to gym
-After two trainer battles drowzee evolved at 26
-4/6 Random Pokemon

VERMILLION CITY GYM

-Fought trainers with my diglet
-For lt.surge just used magnitude very easy

AFTER VERMILLION CITY GYM

-Rock tunnel is bad enough but i decided to get through it without flash

Small Update.

I chose Totodile for a starter.
I used my Totodile to capture a Ledyba, and then i deposited Totodile in the PC.
I beat Falkner's gym after much trouble, not easy when you only have one bug pokemon.
I captured a Sandshrew in the Union Cave, and is now training him for a bit.

Small starting update~ :D

Starting Update

- Started a new HeartGold game.
- Chose Totodile as my starter (and aptly nicknamed it STARTER).
- Did all the mandatory beginning stuff (seeing Mr Pokemon, fighting rival etc).
- As soon as I was able to trade, which was after obtaining Pokeballs from Ethan, I traded over two Poochyena from my Diamond game, both @ level 1, having just been hatched from an egg.
- Deposited my starter into the PC.
- Spent some time (well, quite a lot of time, it's not easy training from level 1) on Route 30, trying to level up my two new team members, EDGEWORTH and GUMSHOE.

I encountered a "little" problem with my windows movie maker.. it doesn't let me to make a video and therefore it stops me from uploading videos.. I'll see what's the problem with the movie maker and then I'll update my progress.. just to inform you, I'm in front of the Victory road with all 6 of my pokemons being lvl 45.. (a little underleveled, but I'll make it through the elite four, I hope)..

Update II

Update: Violet City --> Union Cave

- Reached Violet City.
- At Violet City Pokemon Centre, traded over Murkrow (nicknamed PHOENIX) level 1 from my Diamond game.
- Spent some more time on Route 30, training Murkrow up until about level 8.
- Went through Sprout Tower, using mainly Murkrow (Peck + Bellsprout = easypeasy).
- Grinding time! Stupid amounts of time spent on Route 31, getting every member of my team up to level 13. My goodness, does Poochyena level up slowly or what.
- Flew through Falkner's Gym, a total breeze! (no puns intended :pink_wink: )
- Headed down Route 32, and through Union Cave, doing a good amount of levelling on the way.
- Exited Union Cave and finished off for today as I've done more than enough grinding for my liking :pink_smile:
