5th Gen Eeveelution Additions?

I'm sure some of you are hating this thread already, simply because of all the commotion that Eeveelution brings. Especially with the Eeveelutions obsessions running around! But, that's something you gotta love when it comes to Pokémon. So this is bound to bring up some activity!

So, getting down to it, with every new generation (Generation III doesn't count, since Eevee wasn't included at all n_n) came new Eeveelutions. So far there's fire, electric, water, ice, grass, dark, and psychic. Do you think there will be any new additions to the Eeveelution chain? Or do you feel as though they're going to end the inclusion of Eeveelutions? Why? Why not? What types do you think, if any, will be added? Etc. You know the deal.~

Steel, all the way. Though I highly doubt it because it's not really natural at all.

Although, I would love a Yawn lead steel-type Eeveelution. I've abused Umbreon enough. (Talking about frontier, if we get one)

Oh, and yeah, I think they'll add one or two. It'd feel... odd, if they didn't. They almost feel like a traditional addition. I certainly wouldn't mind their absence though, hahaha.

A Ghost Eeveelution would be cool.
Along with a Steel Type One that would be cool.

I love the eeveelutions just because of the surprise of what type will come next. I hope to see a ghost, normal, flying, or maybe steel.

But I also kinda agree with Twilight Sky, having 7 evolutions is quite weird...

Eevee should evolve and still be normal. Maybe have all around stats since there's not an evolved Eevee like that.

I demand a Dragon/Normal-type Eevee.

Just look at that picture and try to tell me that it doesn't look freaking awesome. A Dragon-type that doesn't have a x4 weakness to Ice-type would be refreshing, and it could really shake the meta-game up a bit, typing wise. If they give it Levitate, then its got more than a few resistances under its belt.

I'll just jump on the bandwagon (or start it :P) and say Dragon to complete the "special" types.


Though I woundn't mind seeing an eeveelution for every type, I mean Fighting? Awesome! Ghost? Sweet! Steel? Sexy! Bug? Psychadelic!! The list goes on!!

I think a Flying and Steel type would satisfy me this generation. It's probably possible that we'll have another two (or three?) Eeveelutions added to the PokéDex though. As said, it's like a tradition in a way (excluding the third generation, sadly). I have a slight more wanting for a Flying type, and my only reason for this is because after watching a recent Japanese episode of the Pokémon anime and seeing this:

... My likeness towards one grew. A steel type would just be pure awesome though and if it can be just as well designed as Umbreon, then I'm sure it'll be quite popular amongst many. I always liked the Eeveelution lines, so for me, it's the more the merrier - at least as long as they keep looking as good as they do now. >_>;

Being a huge-ass Eevee fan, I'm hoping that they will start to finish up the Eeveelutions, by making more types.

It seems like the ones they're adding on are ones that combat one another (Dark is super-effective to Psychic), so keeping in that respect, I think Dragon would probably be the best next one seeing as how it's super-effective on itself. (does that sound weird? >_>)

Personally, I guess I think it would be cool to see 2 new Eeveelutions added, but I also think that there's a point where you need to stop. 1 Pokemon eventually having like 15 evolutions is over doing it a bit, don't ya think?

I anticipate a Rock or Ground type most definetly, and possibly a Poison Eevee, although Flying could be possible.

the only good one out of those is the ghost one, which now i want 3times as much
the dragon has to be a blue, or red colour, not the purple colour they chose, i think it would look better, but how they did it it looked too much like the steel IMO
the poison was semi-ok

I also am a big eevee fan (they're just so cute) and I would really like every type to have a eevee. Of course, no getting sloppy with the looks. While I can see one pokemon having 16 evolutions as being a little weird, we're talking about pokémon. How is capturing creatures in a ball and then using them in battle not weird? When you do that at home, let me know.
